a dependable tool

Pros

One thing I appreciate most about Microsoft Teams is that it works quickly, efficiently and reliably.

Cons

That said, I still tend to prefer Google's products because their functionality feels more flexible and adaptive to me. Microsoft offers many of the same features but the way everything is organized usually makes me dig around a bit more to find the information or tool I need.

So great

Pros

From multilingual SSO login to team discussions, IMM, chats, online meetings and file sharing, it covers all the essentials we need in one place. The setup feels well tailored for collaborative work and handles everything effectively.

Cons

Honestly I don't have anything to complain about because it does everything it's supposed to very efficiently.

i rely on it

Pros

The latest Teams update is a big improvement, with a much better UI and a much-needed refresh from version 1. The part I appreciate most is how well it connects with Planner, OneDrive and other apps which makes Teams feel like an all-in-one workspace without needing to sign in to multiple separate apps.

Cons

At times, the device settings do not behave the way they should and I have run into camera issues on several occasions.

we use it daily

Pros

Communication and meetings work really well and the calendar feature fits in nicely with the overall smooth experience. It's especially useful being able to keep everything related to a project together in one place.

Cons

Scheduling meetings with people outside the organization can be a bit challenging. There's also a learning curve with how groups and individual chats are set up, otherwise it can get confusing. In our case, it's been a little limiting because the organization restricts what we're allowed to share or save in Teams so we haven't been able to use the platform to its full potential. Zoom does offer a few stronger features for delivering training presentations but since that isn't our main priority, Teams still ended up being the better fit.

simple to use

Pros

It's a classic that I've been using since I was a kid and the interface is very simple to navigate.

Compared with today's calling and messaging apps, it offers fewer features and less functionality.

clean desktop interface

Pros

The desktop version is simple to use, has a nice-looking interface and works really well with other Microsoft products.

Cons

The web app feels weaker overall and some features like breakout rooms are harder to locate or just not as good as they are in competing apps. The SharePoint integration can also be unreliable.

best fit in microsoft setups

Pros

The range of options in MS Teams really stands out when it's used within a Microsoft environment.

Cons

Outside of a Microsoft-based organization though, the functionality feels pretty basic and the search features are quite limited.

teams scheduling works brilliantly

Pros

Interface feels very user-friendly and the integrations with other apps are a real plus. Being able to schedule meetings directly from Teams instead of using Outlook is something I genuinely prefer.

Cons

A minor inconvenience is that downloading recordings can feel a bit tedious especially if it's something you only need to do occasionally.

organized client connection hub

Pros

Everything on the screen feels well organized and it helps us stay connected with clients regardless of whatever other software we happen to be using.

Cons

Whenever I click an invite link, it tends to lag quite a bit and I usually have to refresh the call two or even three times before Teams loads the way it should.

so convenient

Pros

Having meeting recordings, captions with scroll-and-copy, video management and scheduled messages all in one place has been really useful. Those features make it much easier to keep track of conversations and handle follow-ups without needing extra tools.

Cons

Con is that it's quite a heavy application so startup can take a while and some features occasionally feel a bit laggy.

Being able to communicate with people at work using the same email account was really convenient and made collaboration much simpler.

Cons

That said, it still didn't feel as strong as the Google version or the Slack version.

better communication across hospital teams

Pros

Across the hospital, this works as a universal tool that people in any department can use to connect and communicate efficiently. Teams keeps information in one place and makes it possible to share it across different areas of the hospital. From nurses and doctors to other hospital staff, it's a valuable support for any organization focused on improving patient care.

Cons

The interface feels a little outdated. It's simple enough but once a larger amount of information is stored, the system can start to look cluttered especially when it's being used alongside multiple tabs within the software.
