“Smooth experience”
Pros
Microsoft Teams really stands out to me for how much it improves meetings with practical features like virtual backgrounds, screen sharing, remote control access and meeting recording. I also appreciate the collaboration side especially shared channels, file sharing and real-time co-authoring which make working with others much more effective.
Cons
I don't have any particular dislikes about Microsoft Teams.

“lag free”
Pros
The connectivity is really solid and having both chat and voice options makes it very useful. I also appreciate that the free version gives everyone a chance to use it and benefit from the platform.
Cons
Honestly I don't have any real complaints. I'm happy with everything it offers and it feels like a product that speaks for itself without needing extra hype.

“impressive!”
Pros
Working from home has been much better with MS Teams because it lets us reach both our team and senior management instantly with just a click. Chatting is convenient and setting up a meeting on the spot is just as simple.
Cons
Sometimes, joining a meeting requires reloading the app several times. Aside from that, it has been working well for both me and my team.

“teams keeps everything connected”
Pros
Teams is simple to use and keeps me updated with notifications for every chat. I can set my availability to busy or available which helps others know whether I'm free. I'm on Teams every single day for most of the day and it's also really useful for video meetings.
Cons
The only thing I'd really like to have is the option to create my own custom status message.

“Good calendar visibility”
Pros
When setting up a meeting, it's really helpful to immediately see whether the people you're inviting are free or busy. That makes it much easier to adjust the meeting time and find a slot that works for everyone's schedule.
Cons
Schedule Out of Office button is a bit hard to locate and I tend to forget where it is every time. In my opinion, it would make more sense if it were linked directly under the Change Status section.

“quick setup”
Pros
Getting in touch with coworkers and hosting meetings is really convenient and the setup process was fast and simple.
Cons
One inconvenience is that updates sometimes pop up at the worst times so I have to remember to install them more regularly before the system forces one.

“so convenient”
Pros
Chatting is simple and the video and audio calling both work well. The shared spaces for files and other coworker collaboration are useful and being able to see everyone's Free/Busy status is a nice touch. I also get a kick out of assigning custom names to groups since it makes things feel a little more personal and fun.
Cons
Using Teams can feel a bit draining at times. One Microsoft change also made file sharing much harder when someone needs to edit a document. If the goal is just to send a file for download, that's simple enough but setting it up so others can actually edit it is frustrating. I'm also signed in on mobile and I'm never really sure whether my status updates correctly to show that I'm unavailable.

“copilot chat and calling perks”
Pros
One feature I genuinely enjoy is Copilot. Once it's turned on, it shows up right in the contacts list so you can message it just like any other contact. For anyone unfamiliar with it, Copilot is an AI assistant that can help with almost anything you need. Another thing I really appreciate about Skype is being able to add credit and place regular phone calls.
Cons
Over the past couple of years, it feels like a lot of users have moved away from Skype and started using other communication platforms instead.

“reliable team organization”
Pros
It has a lot of potential when it comes to organizing each team into specific categories. It's also a really strong tool for communication and it rarely has any issues or stops working.
Cons
Every now and then, pinned teams or chat groups vanish so you have to get added back in or go searching for them again.

“smooth collaboration”
Pros
Teams has been a really solid product for connecting staff in the field with those working in the office. Document sharing works very well and switching between screens is quick and smooth. It also handles large groups effectively, whether it's for teaching, church services or company meetings so you can comfortably join and participate from home.
Cons
An issue is that the audio and video can sometimes break up during very large meetings especially when the meeting is important. It also depends entirely on having a stable network connection.

“solid communication”
Pros
Back in its day, Skype was an excellent tool for communication. Before Teams came along, it was the app we relied on most and we even used it as a virtual phone solution.
Cons
That said, it really functioned as just a communication app. Unlike Teams, it didn't offer integration with other Microsoft applications which made it feel limited.

“Loved using it”
Pros
Being able to connect it with Microsoft's ecosystem is a big plus especially the behind-the-scenes SharePoint integration. Setting up groups is also really useful, including federated team rooms that make it much easier to collaborate with clients.
Cons
It does use a fair amount of system resources and video calls can be unreliable from time to time.

“reliable worldwide connection”
Pros
Skype was a fantastic way to stay in touch with my family and friends. I could use it across multiple devices without any trouble and I really appreciated that it was available and accessible from practically anywhere in the world.
Cons
Every now and then, the video call quality would lag a little but that seemed more related to the strain on my internet connection than any issue with the software itself.

“best video calling platform”
Pros
Hands down, this has been the best platform for video calls. It's very simple to use and extremely user-friendly overall.
Cons
I honestly haven't noticed any real downside. The only time video quality drops is when my internet connection is slow and that's not really an issue with Skype itself.
