Scheduling meetings and joining video calls is very simple and the chat feature works reliably too.
Cons
Only thing I really miss is having a snipping or screenshot tool in the chat like Zoom offers.

“fantastic”
Pros
Between the online meetings and instant messaging, Microsoft Teams has been excellent for keeping our whole team connected and sharing information without delays. The security and data protection features are very strong which gives us confidence that confidential files and conversations stay protected while we're working or sending things around. The collaboration tools do a really good job of bringing everyone into one shared workspace so working on projects together in real time feels natural and organized. I also appreciate the visual boards because they give a clear picture of ongoing tasks and make it simple to keep track of progress.
Cons
Microsoft Teams has done exactly what we need it to do. Up to this point, we really haven't run into anything worth complaining about.

“Integrations are good”
Pros
Working with Microsoft 365 is smooth which makes handling emails, calendars and files much more convenient. In my role as a Project Manager, being able to set up dedicated channels for each project is really helpful and the dependable video conferencing makes online meetings run efficiently.
Cons
Getting started can feel a bit overwhelming for new users because the interface has a lot going on. There are also occasional lags with message delivery and file syncing which can interrupt the flow of work.

“weak support”
Pros
It worked well with the software we already had in place and since most of our staff were already used to Skype, getting everyone on board felt familiar from the start.
Cons
The parts we liked least about Skype were the support, the pricing and the overall feature set.

“lag-free international video calls”
Pros
Being able to call friends and coworkers in other countries is a big plus especially with how stable the video conferencing is and how well the features work overall.
Cons
Skype doesn't connect with other services as smoothly as some other alternatives. That can be a drawback for businesses that depend on using it alongside other products.

“effortless communication”
Pros
Microsoft Teams is a highly collaborative platform and works really well for web conferencing with people anywhere in the world. Since most office environments already work with MTRs, it fits into that setup nicely.
Cons
File access still feels somewhat limited and I still need to open documents in the desktop app to get the full functionality.

“fast messaging”
Pros
Messaging is quick and efficient which makes day-to-day communication much better. The multimedia sharing options are really useful for team collaboration and the Microsoft integration helps a lot when I need to review or edit documents without wasting time. Reactions are a simple, clear way to reply without having to type out a full message every time. I also appreciate the live status feature for letting others know where I am and when I'm available. The app integrations with Todoist, Redflag and other services we use every day add even more convenience. Also, video and phone calls are simple to start and work well from both my computer and my phone.
Cons
One issue is that the interface can be unreliable at times. It sometimes changes the layout and appearance of certain documents depending on whether I open them on desktop or inside Teams. I've also run into a few minor bugs with video and camera recognition. Every now and then there's some de-sync between my phone and computer which can be frustrating. I've also had occasional connection problems where messages don't come through until much later in the day.

“remote work made possible”
Pros
When the pandemic began, Teams gave our users a way to connect that simply didn't exist before and that was absolutely essential. We went from people having little or no access to coworkers or anything outside their immediate work setup to operating in a fully remote workplace. There's no way we could have made that transition nearly as quickly or effectively without Teams. It became a key part of how we adapted and it still matters now even with more people spending regular time back in the office.
Cons
Different versions occasionally created confusion for users and on some machines the app would freeze or crash from time to time.
