polished updates

Pros

The integration with Loop and SharePoint has been a really nice part of using it.

Cons

One thing that gets annoying is the popup during screen sharing, it shows up at the top of the same screen you're presenting and I wish it stayed hidden instead. It's also not always clear when to use Teams versus Zoom which can make the choice a bit frustrating.

works really well

Pros

Working with colleagues in real time feels very natural in Teams. The project-based chat threads help us stay in touch consistently and being able to move between messaging, voice calls and video meetings is a key part of how we handle our consultative work.

Cons

A minor issue I've run into with Teams is occasional difficulty connecting to calls between different Teams instances or while on a VPN. That said, it happens rarely and hasn't changed my overall positive view of the platform.

fun chat features

Pros

Chatting back and forth with coworkers feels simple and convenient. There are plenty of emoticons and GIFs to use, calls work most of the time and it's simple to keep things organized and set up groups.

Cons

Files that are stored or shared in Teams will sometimes crash my computer and I run into occasional weird issues during calls.

Pros

Microsoft Teams has made day-to-day work with my staff much more manageable and functional.

Cons

Teams comes with a lot of features so it can feel a bit overwhelming in the beginning but it gets easier to navigate over time.

This is very adaptive, simple to use and they keep adding a lot of new features which makes the product feel like it's constantly improving.

At times, the voice calls break up and there's still no auto note-taker available.

dated navigation

Pros

Teams does a decent job for basic communication. We mostly rely on it for video meetings and quick messages. It's useful for sharing files with coworkers and overall it's fairly simple to use.

Cons

Getting around it feels a little outdated and tracking down older messages can be frustrating. The notifications also tend to be overwhelming at times. It's not a terrible tool but there's definitely room for improvement.

simple setup

Pros

The platform is simple to use and the video meeting quality is consistently excellent.

Cons

Oftentimes, it's hard to track down older conversations or attachments and the search feature could be improved to work more like WhatsApp.

So good!!

Pros

Microsoft Teams feels flexible and simple to use. Working with other people is incredibly convenient and I can move smoothly between messaging coworkers, jumping on calls, sharing my screen and even editing files through SharePoint all at the same time.

Cons

Every now and then, Teams slows down a little or some content doesn't save the way it's supposed to.

copilot integration is great

Pros

Now that it integrates with Copilot, it adds even more value. It also lets us make external calls which has removed the need to keep a physical phone around.

Cons

A few of my teams still don't show every channel. Certain channels stay hidden even when they aren't marked as "hidden." I've also noticed that compatibility with Dragon dictation software is unreliable some days it works properly and other days it doesn't.

Amazing chat and video tools

Pros

Chat and video calls work really well and it also includes other practical features like planners, tagging people in group conversations and setting up channels.

Cons

A downside is that it uses a lot of system memory which can sometimes affect the overall performance of the machine.

my experience is good

Pros

One thing I appreciate most about Microsoft Teams is being able to stay in touch with my coworkers and managers about our day-to-day tasks. It's especially useful if you prefer not to share your personal phone number with everyone.

Cons

Honestly there isn't really anything I dislike about this app. Like any other app, it could always benefit from updates but that's pretty standard.

reliable daily essential

Pros

It works reliably and has become an essential tool in my day-to-day routine.

Cons

Some of the applications still feel a little stiff although I have noticed improvements with recent updates. The most frustrating part for me is how Teams and the Outlook calendar connect. They do not always stay in sync and depending on the settings some meetings can be added on one platform but not the other.

fantastic for team calls

Pros

Skype has been an excellent chat and video tool for staying in touch with coworkers and teams instantly. It makes communication feel immediate, whether it's a quick message or a video conversation.

Cons

What bothered me is that Skype doesn't keep documents or images shared in chats available for very long. That was frustrating because I sometimes need to go back and check older files, only to find they're no longer there.

video calls made easy

Pros

Back when Skype first launched, it really felt like the go-to option. I've always enjoyed using it for video calls, audio calls, screen sharing and messaging.

Cons

There were times when Skype would get really slow for me, with a lot of buffering happening even when my internet connection was solid.
