Quick calls

Pros

Being able to stay connected with the whole staff in one place has been really useful. We can share files, keep them saved in groups so everyone can access them and quickly jump into a voice or video call whenever needed which makes collaboration much better.

Cons

The only thing I'd really like to see improved is the ability to save documents even when I'm offline.

cross-org collaboration done right

Pros

Working with people whose teams sit in different organizations than mine has been really valuable. That cross-organization collaboration is one of the biggest strengths for me.

Cons

Bugs and overall glitchiness can be frustrating and the constant access between me and my team sometimes feels a bit too much.

best option

Pros

One thing that really works well for me is being able to use Skype to call regular phone lines just by adding credits. It makes it possible to hold meetings with clients and other people around the world, even when they have little or no internet access.

Cons

The downside is that the calling credits can get pricey depending on the country or location you're trying to reach.

I rely on it

Pros

Microsoft Teams works really well for large-group collaboration and quick communication. It also includes a variety of apps that make working together much more smooth, whether the team is collaborating face to face or in a fully remote digital setup.

Cons

There can be a slight loading delay at times especially when a large amount of information is being cached.

so easy to use

Pros

Chatting with coworkers is really convenient and setting up groups for conversations is just as simple. Instead of sending an email and waiting, I can message someone and get a response right away. It feels almost like having the person there with you, just without being face to face.

Cons

One thing missing is a clear way to tell when someone is away or not signed in, like a red indicator or a sleep mode status.

It works well

Pros

Meetings, chat and the Microsoft 365 integration have all been working really well for us.

Cons

Teams channel/team workspace side still doesn't handle our needs very well. It's also tough to manage from an IT admin standpoint and collaborating across different organizations can be frustrating.

ms 365 integration works brilliantly

Pros

The integration with Microsoft 365 especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint, is really valuable and works well.

Cons

It is not especially adaptive or adaptive at first so there is definitely a learning curve with some trial and error involved.

Teams covers it all

Pros

Whether it's group chats or hosting webinars, Teams handles it all. You also get cloud storage and full access to the Office apps which makes it really tough to top.

Cons

Only downside is the price. That said, everything worthwhile costs something and with Teams you do get the value you're paying for.

best cross-platform use

Pros

Recent Microsoft Teams updates have added features that make the platform more flexible and much simpler to navigate. The multi-vendor support is also excellent since we can use it on macOS as well as any PC without issues.

Cons

Interface colors could be improved, the placement of some options is not ideal and the participant windows take up more space than they should.

user-friendly

Pros

What I appreciate most is how user-friendly it is and how simple it is to navigate and use.

Cons

A downside with Microsoft Teams is that when someone leaves an organization, getting back into their account can sometimes be difficult which ends up being pretty frustrating.

quick chat access

Pros

Being able to reach coworkers quickly through chat is one of the things I really enjoy about using it.

Cons

Our company keeps blueprints in Teams and when I need to look through different channel files, I have to download them manually just to view several items at the same time.

dependable!

Pros

Having both video and voice calling in one place works really well for distributed teams and the audio and video quality are consistently strong which makes meetings feel smooth. Another thing I appreciate is the flexibility of using it on my phone especially when making international calls.

Cons

That said, the interface comes across as a little outdated and it's missing some of the more advanced features that have become standard with other competing tools.

all-in-one product

Pros

Working with Microsoft Teams for a while has been a really positive experience because it pulls chat, video meetings, file sharing and project management into a single place. For a startup, that makes staying organized and collaborating with everyone much more manageable. The option to set up separate channels within a team also helps people stay on track and focused on what matters.

Cons

At the beginning, the user interface was one of the harder parts to get used to. It can seem cluttered at times especially when there are lots of channels, ongoing chats and constant notifications happening all at once.
