“i recommend”
Pros
Being able to call both landlines and cellphones, send SMS messages, make video calls and even share your screen makes it really useful. The layout is simple too so it doesn't take much effort to start using everything.
Cons
It works really well for Skype-to-Skype messaging and calls but the cost can feel a bit high if you plan to use the Skype-to-landline calling feature.

“excellent fit for team collaboration”
Pros
Microsoft Teams comes with a lot of valuable features for our business. We use it every day for communication across the team, handling technical issues through screen sharing and running orientation sessions for newly hired employees. It supports many of our regular tasks and has been very useful overall.
Cons
I'd definitely like to see some new features added in future updates.

“useful integrations”
Pros
Getting in touch with people is really simple and sending messages is just as simple. The calendar and email invite integration comes in handy because it keeps me updated on meeting times and any changes. It also offers several ways to communicate and setting up things like Power Automate, polls and other integrations doesn't take much effort.
Cons
It does get buggy from time to time especially when I'm working remotely. There are moments when messages are delayed and I have to wait for my laptop to sync properly. The new Teams popup notification is also pretty annoying and would be better removed.

“feature-rich”
Pros
Uploading and sharing documents is simple and the notifications are handled well. The color coding for different status messages helps a lot, screen sharing during meetings is convenient and muting or unmuting takes no effort. It also offers useful video call options like virtual backgrounds and background blur, plus noise cancellation works well.
Cons
The move from the old Teams app to the new one didn't go very smoothly. During that transition, there were some connectivity problems and a few temporary issues with sharing as well.

“teams keeps everyone connected”
Pros
From quick one-on-one chats to updates across an entire department, Teams handles communication really well. We rolled it out for our user help desk to manage support requests and it even works nicely for internal event coordination. File sharing, video sharing and even the small touches like emojis make it a practical and enjoyable tool to use.
Cons
Lately, we've run into a few problems with Teams not loading properly and there were also times when users weren't able to screen share. That said, both issues may have been related to hardware rather than the software itself.

“convenient sharing that just works”
Pros
Getting around the platform is simple and the features feel really convenient to use. Sharing information is simple, whether it's documents, videos or images and as long as your internet connection is stable, everything works perfectly.
Cons
The only downside is that it can be a bit challenging if you're not familiar with how to use it and that may cause some problems at first.

“constant lag and frustration”
Pros
There wasn't much about Teams that I enjoyed. On the occasions when it worked, it was acceptable but when it failed, the experience was really awful.
Cons
It kept lagging and it wasn't due to our internet connection since other programs performed much better.

“enjoyable experience”
Pros
Being fully built into M365, it keeps productivity and collaboration flowing really well. The connection with Outlook is especially solid particularly for calendar management. The notifications section covers a lot and the always-available OneDrive integration alongside Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote is a big plus. Meetings are reliable with no issues creating or joining them and the interface is clean, familiar and simple for anyone who has used Outlook before.
Cons
Some of the SharePoint-related features feel unnecessary and take too many clicks to get through. Teams channels can lag quite a bit when the directory behind them is heavy. Permissions are also confusing at times and need regular monitoring through the admin side. The newest update that blocks access to the middle/top part of the screen where browser tabs sit during screen sharing is incredibly poor UI/UX. It really needs to be fixed right away but it still has not been addressed. The search function also feels very similar to Outlook.

“valuable for research collaboration”
Pros
During my PhD especially throughout the COVID-19 period, Microsoft Teams became really helpful for virtual meetings and discussions. The calendar features made time management more organized and it was useful for sharing and accessing important documents and data while also staying on top of my research tasks.
Cons
At times, the interface feels cluttered and a bit overwhelming and performance can become slower when handling larger or more complex data. Notifications are also sometimes too frequent and distracting and third-party integrations do occasionally run into compatibility problems.

“solid microsoft integration”
Pros
Working in software means I use a wide range of Microsoft tools and Teams fits nicely into that setup. Its integration with other Microsoft products is a big advantage and makes it more useful in my day-to-day work.
Cons

“remote teamwork done right”
Pros
Working remotely feels much more connected because communicating with other team members is really simple and having video calls plus the option to record meetings on screen is a big help. Microsoft Teams also brings together all the tools I need, like the calendar, note-taking app and planner which keeps my work organised.
Cons

“top for remote teamwork”
Pros
Love it! working with a group from a distance is much easier with this tool. You just upload the file and at the same time every member of the group can access it, edit it and add their own section. It also includes video meetings that can be transcribed or recorded which is really useful to revisit later.
Cons
Internet connection can have a big impact during video calls and make it hard to clearly understand what the other person is saying. There's also a risk of losing files when working offline.
