good channels

Pros

Getting started with it is simple. Teams is built to make group collaboration simpler and the channel setup works really well for keeping group chats organized. You can create multiple channels in just a couple of clicks.

Cons

Pricing is still a concern and I'm hoping they add more flexible options as they keep expanding the services and features.

features are great

Pros

Being part of the Microsoft suite makes it much easier to connect and work with other MS applications.

Cons

On mobile, there are still some issues when opening different shared documents. On the desktop side, the interface could be more flexible and offer more adjustable options. The chat window also does not work well in half-screen view so if you need to look up someone to contact, you have to switch back from the chat menu to the main messaging window.

fantastic for daily teamwork

Pros

Our team uses this incredibly helpful, user-friendly tool every single day. I depend on it to stay connected with colleagues, share information and run meetings and it has been an ideal solution for business use.

Cons

Nothing negative comes to mind. I'm really enjoying the platform and don't have any complaints at this point.

everything in one place

Pros

Teams brings together just about everything you need at work in one place and it even lets you see employee reporting structures. It makes it really simple to look up anyone in the company, message or call them and get meetings set up quickly.

Cons

Screen sharing can be a bit wonky at first and there are times when it feels slow for me.

loved it

Pros

Working remotely is so much more manageable with Teams. I'm the only fully remote person on my team and it helps me stay in sync with everyone else without missing updates. It connects quickly and hardly ever gives me trouble. Screen sharing has also made training really simple.

Cons

I honestly haven't run into anything about this program that I dislike.

amazing product

Pros

Our team relies on this constantly to work together with clients and to host lots of interviews. It handles both really well and has been very reliable for us.

Cons

A part that really gets frustrating is the login process. It asks me to sign in way too often and checking the "remember me" box doesn't seem to help at all because it still makes me log in over and over again. The software works well overall but this issue is definitely a hassle.

secure live communication

Pros

I really appreciated that it feels like a secure and effective platform for protecting data. It also lets me see people live and in real time which helps me get to know them better, connect with them more personally and have better communication overall. Another thing I value is that they never ask for your passwords.

Cons

Something I didn't enjoy is that the interview has to be scheduled instead of being done right at the moment you want.

simple setup

Pros

Getting started was quick thanks to the simple installation and having an online web version available makes it even more convenient. It's simple to use overall and creating chats or group chats is very hassle-free.

Cons

Phone calling charges feel expensive and the installed version occasionally logs out on its own without any warning.

easy to use

Pros

Working with teammates has become much more convenient with Microsoft Teams especially when it comes to collaboration and running meetings. Since we began using it, our overall productivity has noticeably improved.

Cons

One frustrating part is that the screen sharing option can be difficult to find and it also appears that free users may not have access to it.

good experience

Pros

Call and video quality is consistently reliable and stable. It's also really convenient that you can join easily from mobile or even dial in twice if needed. Overall, it includes all the features you'd expect from a video conferencing tool.

Cons

The interface isn't always adaptive to use. Some features feel a bit hidden so I end up having to look for them again and again.

solid integrations

Pros

This has been really useful for instant messaging, along with audio and video calls. The built-in calendar in Teams makes it simple to stay on top of meetings throughout the day. Taking notes is also more convenient since the cloud-based OneNote notebook is available right inside the app. It also works well with OneDrive and Outlook which adds a lot to the overall experience.

Cons

After closing the app, it occasionally fails to load or boot up properly. Screen sharing could also be better since there's no option to annotate or draw on the screen like you can in Slack or Zoom.

clear video chat

Pros

Being able to stay on a video call while still typing in the chat is something I really appreciate. The raise-hand feature is also very useful because it lets everyone know when you want to speak up or share a concern. Screen sharing is probably one of the most helpful tools especially when you need to walk someone through a task. I also enjoy the background options in Teams since they come in handy when your home or office isn't exactly camera-ready.

Cons

What I'd still like is a bit more control when it comes to organizing my chat and call lists but honestly it's a pretty minor issue.

Love it

Pros

It has become the center of how I work. It goes well beyond simple chat and calling because the full environment with channels, SharePoint integration and Microsoft Planner really turns it into my main place for internal communication, task planning and progress tracking. Another big advantage is how much it reduces the distance with colleagues who work fully remote or are based in another factory or office somewhere else in the world. The quality of my exchanges with them is much better now than when I had to rely mostly on email and the occasional phone call.

Cons

One thing that does frustrate me is that Teams is only really usable inside my organization. I would love to have similar features, even in a more limited version, when working with other Teams users outside the company such as suppliers or clients. That would make day-to-day collaboration much simpler.

centralized workflow

Pros

Having everything tied into Microsoft 365 makes this software really convenient to use. The interface is simple and I didn't need much time to get comfortable with it. Another big plus is how centralized everything feels which makes day-to-day work much more organized.

Cons

Documentation could be better here... since it doesn't always feel fully up to date. Support is also just average so getting help isn't always as efficient as it could be.

keeps us connected

Pros

Across our faculty and staff, Teams has been really useful for instant communication. Calling and video meetings are simple to start and the Outlook integration makes it helpful to see whether someone is available based on their calendar. Screen sharing only takes a click and a quick choice of what you want to present. It also connects well with other apps we use, including Box and TeamViewer.

Cons

Teams works well but it's also just one option in a crowded field of similar apps. Another downside is that when there are too many channels, it can become confusing and a bit hard to keep track of everything.

daily team collaboration hub

Pros

Lets me handle training, keep an eye on my team members, see how they're entering their work, chat with them in real time and pull people into meetings or team discussions whenever needed.

Cons

Honestly, I don't really have a con here since this is the platform I rely on every day.
