Cons

Cons

I absolutely love how easy and powerful the data management is. It's all right at my fingertips! The staff at Brightly is truly exceptional, treating me as if I were their sole customer. “Desktop winner but mobile app lags
Pros
I've found the interface incredibly helpful and far easier to use than other tools I've used. Being able to attach photos and documents straight to parts and work orders has totally changed how I keep things organized. What impresses me most is how smooth it is to filter and assign work orders , it saves me a huge amount of time.
Cons
My only con is that the mobile app still lags behind the desktop version in features when I'm out in the field. There are quite a few capabilities missing that would make life much easier for our field technicians while they're on jobs, so they can't access everything they need on-site.

Pros
I have been using this platform for almost four years and it's been a huge help when it comes to keeping tabs on our inventory and organizing work order details.
Cons
Sometimes the app doesn't save parts or work orders, which really annoys me and every so often I get booted out while I'm in the middle of editing a work order.

I've always valued how much you can personalize almost every part of this tool , you really can adjust nearly every section to suit what you need. The system feels dependable and continues to reveal a lot of hidden capability that pleasantly surprises me.
Cons
Honestly, it's so configurable that I often find it paralyzing, the layout doesn't feel easy in the slightest and I end up having to plunge through far too many nested menus just to access the most basic features.

I am glad I can set up parts and manage inventory right inside the system, which makes organizing components much simpler for my workflow.
Cons
one thing I find really annoying is that I can't drag and drop items between locations, instead I'm stuck doing a lot of repetitive manual steps to relocate stock.

the team is very supportive and meticulous , they really know their stuff and keep things very professional. Whenever I jump into the chat, there's a real person on the other end who gets exactly what I'm asking for and makes a genuine effort to assist.
Cons
My experience is that the system can be quite sluggish at times and on several occasions it's significantly slowed down my workflow, which becomes frustrating when I'm trying to move quickly.

The layout is so smooth and easy to use that my everyday tasks are more efficient and less stressful now.
Cons
Its missing so many of the modules we rely on to completely take over from IQMS. It comes across as only a fragment of what we actually need and since we don't have in-house IT dedicated to integrations, there isn't any automatic data sharing between platforms. As a result, we're forced to operate both systems in parallel which completely undermines the whole reason we wanted to switch.

Pros
One significant advantage over our previous system in Maximo is the increased transparency and modern streamlined approach of this system. We can now provide automated updates to end users, informing them when action has been taken on their requests. This saves time and reduces the need for manual emails. I particularly like the ability to attach various types of documents, such as PDFs and photo files, to the requests.
Cons
Our transition to using Asset Essentials with our large school system and maintenance team had some drawbacks due to its complexities. Despite thorough planning, we experienced a delayed rollout and additional delays in user training. It would also be beneficial to attach smaller video files to requests.

Cons
What bothers me most is being restricted to only numerical entries, I'd find it much more useful if I could enter values with units like PSI, inches, feet, temperature or Newtons directly.

how clean and simple the interface is for everyone , users, admins and technicians all find it interactive. Watching work orders progress is easy since status updates show up live. That has made handling daily operations at our university facility significantly more efficient and far easier to manage.
Cons
The only small thing I can think to mention is that the customer support team is so effective at resolving issues quickly that I almost feel guilty trying to find something to complain about. To be frank, there really aren't any serious problems I've faceed with the platform.

We find it very interactive for everyone on the team, from admins through technicians. The campus work order workflow has been transformed, producing consistently positive outcomes across departments. Even students have commented on the improved service and offered praise about it recently too.
Cons
I can't come up with any real complaints about this system. We switched from our old work order tool because this one performs far better and having access to a support hotline whenever we need assistance gives me a lot of confidence.

thankful for how it simplifies our work orders and preventive maintenance processes. The PM scheduling tool has totally changed the game in cutting downtime at our plant. Plus automated email alerts for parts ordering mean I'm rarely blindsided , we usually have the parts in stock when they're required.
Cons
Every now and then unexpected updates catch me off guard. I run into small glitches from time to time and having round-the-clock technical support would make it much easier to resolve these hiccups quickly and boost the system's overall reliability.

Pros
Honestly the customer service and team support here have been absolutely incredible based on my experience. Whenever I need help they're consistently top-notch, responding quickly and following through on their commitments to resolve whatever issue I am dealing with.
Cons
While I do not have any major complaints, I do recognize the platform is still a work in progress and I hope it continues to evolve over time. There are definitely some more sophisticated systems available elsewhere, yet I feel confident this one will grow and eventually reach those capabilities as it matures.
