Easy to learn and teach

Pros

Easily love how amazingg this platform is. My facility had a lot of employees who were anxious about switching from paper charts to digital records. We've been on it for roughly a year now and practically everyone here has nothing but praise for it.

Cons

It would really help if, as an admin, I had access to my technician's dashboard so I could diagnose and resolve their problems more efficiently.

Perfect for daily task logging

Pros

I genuinely like how many customizable filters I can configure and on top of that, having the option to assign specific assets to each building individually is very useful.

Cons

the system won't let me correct labor hours once they're entered, so I really need an edit button beside each user to be able to revise entries whenever necessary.

user-friendly but too rigid

Pros

Reporting features are really smooth to customize and my team appreciates how easy everything is to use.

Cons

It's frustrating that I can't add upcharges to parts on chargeable (billable) work orders. I'm also unable to edit parts or labor hours after technicians submit their work orders even when I have full permissions , that functionality simply isn't available.

amazing app but reports are not

Pros

Being able to create multiple, customizable filters to sort through a huge number of work orders has honestly been a true lifesaver for me.

Cons

It is oddly picky about which edits I can do myself , more often than not I end up needing their support team to help with many basic changes.

Friendly but flawed on labor

Pros

My favorite aspect is the custom fields feature , at a large company like ours, those generic, one-size-fits-all CMMS platforms typically miss the mark for our unique requirements, so this really stands out.

Cons

the filtering options are really annoying because they force you to type free-text instead of giving helpful dropdown menus for specific fields, which would make searches much easier.

Helps us work together

Pros

It combines asset and work-order management into a single, comprehensive system. The built-in analytics are invaluable when I'm assembling budget plans.

Cons

it takes a lot of effort upfront to get everything organized for the whole team but once that initial setup is done the day-to-day management becomes far smoother.

Engaging talks but lacks customization

Pros

the talks are highly engaging and full of useful, actionable insights. Every speaker contributed something genuinely worthwhile and I stayed genuinely interested the whole time, never drifting off or feeling like I missed any important points.

Cons

it's a bit short on high-level customization features that would fit our particular workflow requirements.

Simple yet slow and clunky to use

Pros

Organizing work orders with this system to be genuinely simple and pulling together reports is easy. I also like that it archives all of our records for later use , having that historical information on hand has been very helpful when I'm trying to spot patterns and trends over long periods.

Cons

performance can be sluggish at times, although that could be due to our own setup. I also find the process of moving work orders away from inactive users cumbersome , it requires far too many steps and feels needlessly complicated when all I want to do is reassign tasks quickly.

Fantastic software, worth recommending

Pros

Having all my assets neatly organized and my work orders kept up-to-date is something I really value. It's super handy to have everything I need on hand whenever I need it.

Cons

Doesn't meet our core needs

Pros

After using this software for quite a while, I've repeatedly tried to set everything up correctly but it still doesn't satisfy all of our requirements. The gaps in capability are fairly large for what we need to achieve, so it falls short of supporting our core workflows.

Cons

I kept attempting different setups and configurations several times but in the end we couldn't get it to function the way we needed for our specific use cases.

Early but promising on PMs

Pros

how simple the PM input step is, being able to jump back and skim earlier entries so quickly genuinely aligns my workflow and saves time when I'm checking past details.

Cons

Excellent reporting & inventory management

Pros

When I need to create reports, I'm able to put them together with exactly the data I want which gives me a lot of flexibility in how I present that information.

Simple and fast but less flexible

Pros

Fantastic tool for every maintenance department

Pros

Asset Essentials is an incredible tool that helps me schedule and complete onsite work. Creating work orders is simple and quite convenient. It has never been this easy to manage work in our facility.
