I've only just scratched the surface of what this program can do, and I'm genuinely impressed!

Great Product

Pros

The ability to enter work orders without cluttering email inboxes with numerous messages is fantastic. Everyone can view work orders and stay informed about their status.

Cons

The help feature is not very clear or user-friendly for most users. It seems to cater more to high-level administrators rather than everyday users. Often, I cannot find the answers I need there because it prompts me to use functions I don't have access to, requiring me to call the help line.

easy to use

Pros

The work order tracking feature required some time during the transition from our old system, but now that everything is in place, it works seamlessly and is easy to navigate.

Cons

I believe the mobile app should resemble the web browser version more closely, as searching is easier on the web browser.

the interface is remarkably easy to use, I picked it up quickly and found it smooth to train my team to use it as well.

Cons

Easy to use with annoying approvals

Pros

how clean and interactive the interface feels, it's clearly well-organized. The layered approval steps before tickets are assigned make it easier for our team to collaborate and keep everyone aligned.

Cons

Having to jump back to the dashboard just to approve new tickets is really frustrating , I should be able to see those requests right from the work orders list instead. Beyond that, it's tedious that I must go back and approve the work order tickets I created myself, especially when I'm the one who manages approvals for our entire school building.

Hard to learn but powerful tool

Pros

what I really like is that it lets me keep an eye on all our assets from a single dashboard and I'm able to create preventive maintenance schedules while the system automatically records due dates and maintains a history of services.

Cons

its difficult to use initially and on occasion I really wish it offered more sophisticated customization features tailored for advanced users.

Easy to Access and Get Started

Pros

This software offers great flexibility and can be adapted to suit the needs of almost any maintenance department. It's easy to add and duplicate work orders, as well as make staffing and personnel adjustments. Looking up equipment history and tracking past issues is simple.

Cons

The dashboard and charting features are easy to customize for an appealing look, but adjusting them to specific needs can be challenging.

Asset Essentials works great!

Pros

The software is incredibly user-friendly and allows for customization without incurring additional costs. The implementation team was excellent and highly responsive.

Cons

The general requester user option is convenient as it allows unlimited users. However, staff members need an email to set it up. We had to create a dummy email account for this purpose, enabling anyone to submit a request. It would be nice to have a URL setup option instead of requiring an email.

Satisfaction

Pros

The ease of use and user-friendly nature of this software are its standout features. I couldn't ask for more.

Cons

I wish our Maintenance Department would actively embrace the software to coordinate repairs with us. This is an internal issue, unrelated to the software designers. It's disappointing to see such underutilization of the software.

Simple & stable, but no support call

Pros

Really value how simple everything is , adding equipment, creating work orders and setting up preventive maintenance calendars all feel natural. I've found customer support to be excellent whenever I reached out. Updates install cleanly with no issues and the application itself runs very stably and reliably.

Cons

there's a lot more capability here than a small business truly requires, although it does expand smoothly as you grow. What frustrates me is that I never get any account manager follow-ups , after using this since 2003, I'd expect someone to check in and ask how things are working for us.

Great mobile photos with unclear reports

Pros

From my phone, I can quickly snap photos of work orders and upload them immediately without any issue.

Cons

I find the reports it produces are pretty unclear and often hard for me to make sense of.

Great for mobile work

Pros

On the production floor, I can quickly generate work orders right from the mobile app and it really makes things a lot more convenient.

Cons

I've had it crash frequently, sometimes without any warning or an obvious cause which is frustrating.

easy to use, but can't charge more

Pros

I find the interface very interactive and I love that I can tweak almost everything to suit my needs. Whenever I've reached out for assistance, the support crew has been excellent and clearly expert.

Cons

I wish I had the time to explore everything this product can do because there's clearly a lot under the hood, but my schedule won't allow it. I've also come across mentions of the app being glitchy fairly regularly which concerns me. The desktop sign-in feels odd , it keeps pointing me to some web link instead of a smooth login , although they say a fix is in progress. I'm also uncertain whether it will connect with other platforms we rely on like NetSuite.
