“Well organized interface
Pros
Using it, I find the interface very well-organized. Installing programs is easy with the usual next, next, next, finish process.
Cons
I'd like the system shortcuts to be smarter and more customizable and I wish there were an option to switch between multiple desktops similar to how Mac handles them.

“All functions under one roof
Pros
I can track our assets, assign them to engineers and handle all calibration tasks from a single place.
Cons
I can't filter records to find which fields are blank or were missed.

“Shows free and rented items
Pros
I've been using the program to keep track of the musical instruments we rent out to students and it's set up really well for that purpose. Finding a particular instrument when someone needs it is not hard and I can quickly see which items in any category are free to rent. After getting used to its little oddities, I found the program pretty simple.
Cons
For me the user interface can be really annoying. I have to go through multiple steps just to reach the data entry screens when I'm adding a new instrument or trying to update an existing record. On top of that, parts of the display frequently fall outside the viewable area of my monitor.

“Free upto a certain limit
Pros
One of the major advantages I appreciate about this tool is that it's free up to a set number of assets which makes it ideal for handling a modest inventory of IT assets or other things I don't want disappearing. I also like the user-friendly check-in/check-out workflow. It includes reminders that make it easier for me to monitor items I lend out or send to others. Overall the free tier and smart tracking features are very useful.
Cons
I noticed it doesn't connect to external systems like SCCM or additional asset-tracking modules so I find the application operates entirely independently. Because of that, I can't link it into existing management workflows.

“Saves me effort
Pros
I appreciate that the dashboard breaks down everything I own so it's easy to glance through and I also value the ability to perform bulk uploads which in a school setting saves me from the tedious chore of adding items one at a time.
Cons
Would be great if there were a kiosk mode that could run on a Chromebook so I could scan devices in and out far more smoothly, almost like the simple process of checking library books in and out which would save a lot of time.

“Starts with a free tier
Pros
What I like is that it starts with a free tier that lets me manage up to 250 items and the Android/iOS apps let me use my phone camera as a barcode scanner. The search is fast and I can customize data models easily, plus the admin roles are flexible.
Cons
I wish they offered multi-factor authentication. I'm hoping that's planned for a future update.

“Easy to add new assets
Pros
Able to add new assets, run both monthly and yearly depreciation schedules, handle disposals and calculate gains when assets are sold. I use these functions all the time.
Cons
A limitation I noticed is related to integration with my financial software for posting journals into the system.

“Can add photos to assets
Pros
I like that it offers a free tier option and I find it generally easy to use. I can attach multiple photos to each asset and the app even includes a built-in QR scanner.
Cons
I find getting started can feel difficult and I wish logging maintenance was simpler. Having the ability to print asset reports directly from the app would also be really helpful.

“Detailed reporting
Pros
I find the interface very simple to use and adding new users is not an issue. The audit log lets me track every change any user makes and the reporting is very thorough and effective.
Cons
Honestly I haven't experienced any issues.

“Smooth user experience
Pros
Really fond of how user-friendly it is and the clean user experience genuinely makes managing assets easier. Because it's so user-friendly, I'm able to keep a tidy, up-to-date asset inventory without fuss. I also appreciate how simple it is to pull up asset tags quickly which proves to be genuinely useful in daily work.
Cons
We would really like to see more development focused on the software side of the database. Right now the system seems tuned for physical, hard assets, whereas many of the items we need to log are software nodes and require different handling.

“Wide variety of features
Pros
I've noticed it offers a broad set of features for managing different types of inventories.
Cons
Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get enough technical support, even though the software seems pretty user-friendly.

“Free plan has all the necessary features
Pros
Exactly what our team needed as the setup, deployment and interface are insanely simple. Right now I'm using the free plan and while we plan to upgrade to a paid tier down the line, the complimentary plan already includes all the features we rely on. On top of that, it even made me look good in front of my boss.
Cons
I don't have any complaints, this was exactly what we needed.

“Clean interface
Pros
The interface is very tidy. It's easy to use, lets me customize reports and the database, supports security groups and permission controls and even lets me scan QR codes and barcodes using my phone's camera.
Cons
Unfortunately, support contact details aren't clearly listed and when I've needed help their responses have often been slow to arrive.

“Impressive pricing structure
Pros
I'm really impressed with the pricing model especially the fact that it lets me add unlimited users and the app's simple, user-friendly layout makes everything simple to use. The built-in reports are particularly useful. In fact, I sailed through a recent financial audit thanks to AssetTiger's export-to-Excel reporting features.
Cons
A consumable inventory module would be extremely useful for me. Beyond that, I want the option to filter searches using multiple fields at once, not just the usual site/location options, being able to combine criteria would save me a lot of time.

“Free of cost
Pros
For me the best parts are that it's free, simple to set up and offers solid functionality.
Cons
I've had a really hard time getting the barcode scanner to function. It only works inside the app and at least for now, only on my smartphone which is really frustrating.

“Difficult to locate items
Pros
My scanner integrates with it and I can easily see how much inventory I currently have.
Cons
Finding my items is really annoying. Even when I fully complete every field in my columns, none of those entries show up in my search results.

“Annoyed with how tag-printing works
Pros
What I love most is the clean, well laid out interface. It's super user-friendly so I didn't need hours or days to get comfortable with it.
Cons
My biggest gripe is how the tag-printing works when you need non-consecutive numbers. After I ordered blank printable asset labels I realized the software only lets me print the same asset number across a whole sheet or only consecutive sequences on a sheet. That creates a huge headache for example, if my equipment runs from 50 through 75 and I also have ten items numbered 200 through 210, I end up having to fill two full fifty-tag sheets which wastes about sixty-five labels. Sure, AssetTiger offers to print custom numbers for you but their turnaround time is impractical for my workflow.

“Lets several people 'check out' tokens
Pros
What I find most useful is that the system lets several people within our organization 'check out' tokens to access various software programs and then return them when they're finished. Because of that, I can have lots of teammates use the same website or application securely, without hogging bandwidth or pushing usage limits at once.
Cons
Initially I thought the interface needed a clearer arrangement and felt a bit overwhelmed when I first saw it but after exploring the settings I discovered I could rearrange how the tokens appear in the table myself which solved my concern.

“Enterprise-level asset management solution
Pros
I've found it to be an enterprise-grade asset management solution. It's highly customizable and I can pull reports very easily whenever I need them.
Cons
It would be great to have an approval workflow for asset records so a finance person could verify entries before they're finalized. I would feel more confident with that control in place.

“Convenient mobile app
Pros
It's free to use for up to 250 assets and I find it very simple to adjust to my needs. I was able to design my own labels (I created QR codes and printed them with my P-Touch) and they worked perfectly. The mobile app is also very easy for me to use.
Cons
After using this tool for two months, I honestly have nothing negative to report about it at all.
