“maintenance tracking has been fantastic”
Pros
The biggest win for me has been the maintenance side and the way it keeps up with asset costs, since those are the parts I use all the time. On top of that, I've had a really good experience with the whole system as a CMMS. It fits what I need day to day and overall it has done the job really well for me.
Cons
Right now, I really don't have any complaints. Everything has been working the way I need it to and whenever something comes up, the support team has been quick to respond and help resolve it.

“clear, useful and worth it”
Pros
Getting started with this product felt really simple and I've been happy with how much I get for the price. The support team has also been awesome anytime I've had a question which made a big difference for me. Another thing I liked was the training videos. They were actually helpful and gave me a much better understanding of how to use the system without feeling lost.
Cons
Linking all the different parts together took more time than I expected. I also feel that creating preventive maintenance items involves more steps than necessary. Cleaning up that process would make things faster and less complicated for me.

“flexible team and tailored support”
Pros
Working with them has been a really good experience for our team. Whenever we ask for something, they actually follow through and make it happen. They've been willing to work with us closely and build solutions around the limits and internal rules our company has to handle. That kind of flexibility has helped a lot and I never feel like we're being forced into a one-size-fits-all setup. Their team is open to adjusting things and collaborating which makes it much easier for us to get exactly what we need.
Cons
The hardest part for me is managing several logins across different environments. We currently deal with five separate setups and keeping track of all of them can be exhausting. Switching between them often feels cluttered and frustrating, especially when I'm trying to move quickly from one instance to another.

“really useful for facility tracking”
Pros
One thing I really like is how this tool lets me keep up with very detailed info for assets, separate buildings and even specific spots inside our facilities. Having photos and other visual details in the records also helps a lot, because it gives me better context and makes the information much more helpful for everyday work.
Cons
One issue I've noticed is the limited control available on the admin side. Updates to the data can sometimes take longer than expected and I've also run into situations where parts information didn't come back completely which makes things frustrating when I need the full details.

“flexible setup that fits us”
Pros
I liked how much room this software gives my team to set things up our own way. We can add custom fields and build forms that match how we actually do our work instead of trying to force everything into the default layout. Being able to change the views too makes a big difference and the whole system feels more personal and useful for our everyday tasks.
Cons
Creating a single form can take more effort than it should. I usually have to jump between tables, linked items and several different sections just to finish setting it up. Because of that, I end up clicking around a lot and the process feels more time-consuming than necessary.

“better fit for my setup”
Pros
this felt a lot more user-friendly to me than a traditional CMS and that made the whole experience better. We're still in the middle of getting everything fully connected in x5 while working off a shell of mp2 but even with that, I can already tell this platform fits the way I want to manage things much better.
Cons
When I worked with x4 version version, I found it pretty awkward to use. The switch from x4 version to x5, along with all the renaming, made things more confusing than I expected. Setting up a new site was also more difficult than I would have liked, though those challenges seemed mostly related to the transition period rather than the core capabilities of the software.

“custom fit with helpful support”
Pros
One of the biggest reasons I value this software is how much I can tweak it to match the way I work. Different parts can be set up around my needs and that has made it a lot more useful in my daily routine. Another thing that has stood out to me is the support team. When problems come up, I usually get useful advice and practical fixes which has helped me keep things moving.
Cons
I've had to contact support quite a few times and the experience can vary depending on who responds. Some representatives provide very clear and helpful advice, while others suggest solutions that don't really address the issue I'm facing. Even though support is still a strong part of the product for me, keeping up with updates has been tricky. After the February 9 update, my cycle count issue still wasn't fixed which was frustrating since even support and the product specialist couldn't resolve it.

“clear reports everyone can follow”
Pros
The first thing that really clicked for me was the reporting. The way everything is laid out makes the reports very clear and both my customers and management like being able to look through them without confusion. That has helped me a lot when I need to explain the details and show people exactly what they need to see.
Cons
At first, the system felt a bit tricky to get around and I needed some time to learn where things were. After I got used to the setup, though, it started to feel much more natural and a lot less overwhelming.

“work orders are super handy”
Pros
Using the work order setup has been really convenient for me. The layout makes sense, so I can get in, understand what I need and move through my daily stuff without any hassle. Uploading photos is pretty quick most of the time and putting together work orders doesn't feel like a chore. Overall, it feels user-friendly and I can usually finish things without second-guessing anything.
Cons
Now and then, I run into slowdowns when the network acts up. Because of that, photo uploads can take longer than expected and that sometimes holds up the process for me.

“all my team updates in one place”
Pros
This is usually the first thing I pull up in the morning because it gives me a fast snapshot of what's overdue, what the team already wrapped up and what's still being held up by parts. Having everything together in one spot is the biggest win for me. It helps me stay on top of what's going on across the whole team without having to keep chasing people down for status updates.
Cons
A few parts of the system can lag more than I'd like, especially when I'm putting together a new report or changing how the information is displayed. Training newer employees can also take time when they aren't very confident with software. On top of that, some processes feel a little too locked in for how we actually work, since a lot of our jobs come up on the fly instead of following a set plan.

“great for api and qr code win”
Pros
Honestly, this has been a big help for me. The API connection makes it simple to link our CMMs with the ERP system, so I'm not always chasing down tech support every time something needs to be set up. That alone has cut out a lot of wasted time. Another thing I really like is being able to scan the QR code on a pump and instantly pull up the asset info. I don't have to enter everything by hand anymore and that makes the whole job feel quicker and way less annoying during the day.
Cons
Trying to work with the Looker reporting language has honestly been one of the toughest parts for me. I've spent quite a bit of time trying to figure it out and it can get frustrating. There are also moments when the shop computer loads pages extremely slowly, leaving me stuck waiting for the screen to respond. Another thing that throws me off is how the first row shifts when I scroll, because I lose track of the column I was looking at.

“dark mode and photo uploads rock”
Pros
it really helps me to add photos right into work orders, because it makes tracking problems a lot more useful in real life. The dark mode has also been a big plus for me since it is way less harsh on my eyes than the old layout. During busy shifts, the SAP link has been great and I have not had issues with it dropping today. I also like seeing maintenance plans in a calendar layout, because it helps me keep up with upcoming jobs without things feeling all over the place.
Cons
Working in the back area of the plant with the mobile app can be a headache, especially when the WiFi signal is weak. The sync becomes really slow in those spots. Another problem is that once a work order is created, I can't switch the asset. If I pick the wrong pump, I have to cancel the whole thing and start again. I also get signed out several times during the day and those interruptions make the experience more frustrating than it should be.

“perfect for my team!!”
Pros
One thing I've really liked while using this is the dark mode. It's a lot more comfortable on my eyes, especially when I'm at my desk for a while. Photo attachments in emails also upload faster than I expected which was a nice surprise since I thought that might slow everything down. The task list is laid out in a way that makes sense, so the team can usually see what needs attention without digging around. I was also happy to see the SAP connection worked without turning into a mess, because I honestly expected problems there.
Cons
Getting logged out too often is probably the biggest issue I deal with. When I'm moving around the shop floor, having to sign in again and again gets irritating pretty quickly. The iPhone app also loads work orders slowly at times which isn't ideal when I need information immediately. Fixing asset details after a work order has already started is another problem. If I select the wrong pump, I can't just correct it and move on. Instead, I have to close the order and create a new one.

“great for work orders”
Pros
This is the system I use every day for new work orders, technician assignments and keeping up with preventive maintenance records and tracking. One thing that really helped me was how simple the setup felt, so I could get things up and running without wasting a bunch of time. Training my team also went a lot better than I expected and they were able to start using it pretty quickly without me having to walk them through every little step.
Cons
For me, the reporting area is where the system feels limited. It doesn't seem very flexible and building reports with detailed information takes more effort than it should. I can handle basic things through the mobile app but when I want to do more advanced tasks from my phone, it feels restricted for how I normally use MMS.

“keeping work orders on track”
Pros
Having everything in one spot has been a big win for me. My work orders and PM schedules are all together, so I'm not jumping between spreadsheets and long email chains anymore. Day to day, I use it to see what's due next, hand off jobs to the team and check asset history quickly when someone needs an answer. Updating things as I go feels simple enough and it fits into my routine without slowing me down. Overall, it's been reliable and does exactly what I need most of the time.
Cons
While using the system, I've noticed that some tasks require more clicking around than I'd like. This mostly happens when setting up advanced preventive maintenance rules or trying to generate deeper reports. Training new staff has also taken a little longer because some menus aren't as clear as they could be. The mobile version works fine overall but I'd still like it to feel quicker and a bit more polished when I'm out on the floor.

“love the control it gives us”
Pros
Honestly, the biggest plus for me with the x4 version system is how much control it gives our team. Once I know my way around the back end, I can take care of setup changes and admin tasks on my own without waiting on the vendor or paying someone else to do it. That kind of freedom has been a huge win for us and it makes the platform feel a lot more versatile and better suited to how we work.
Cons
There are a few improvements I'd still like to see. Having more choices in the reporting output would help me build reports that better match our needs. Conditional logic in form templates would also simplify our process and cut down on extra steps. A drag-and-drop option for attachments would be very useful too. On top of that, MX Mobile feels a little behind the rest of the platform, so I'd like to see that part updated.

“custom lists save me time”
Pros
it really works for me that how much I can set things up to match the way I like to work. The list customization is super helpful and assigning work orders is pretty easy too. Another big plus is the reporting feature, since I can have reports sent right to an email inbox automatically. That saves me time and helps me keep everything in order without extra effort.
Cons
What frustrates me the most has been the support experience. There have been times when I reached out with a question and didn't hear anything back for weeks. That delay can be really frustrating. I've also noticed issues with user permissions where people who should have the same access don't always receive it which creates confusion for our team.

“really flexible reporting tools”
Pros
This tool has been a really great fit for me, mostly because of how much I can adjust it to match the way I work. The reporting side is the biggest plus. I'm able to put together my own reports and look closely at the exact things I need, like inventory, assets, or work orders. That makes it a lot easier for me to stay on top of stock and keep track of the details that matter in my everyday tasks.
Cons
After certain updates or system changes, I sometimes notice that features move around or start working differently. When that happens, it can take me a while to realize where things went or how they changed which gets annoying. That said, whenever I do reach out, the support team usually helps me sort things out eventually.

“fantastic fit for global teams”
Pros
After rolling this out to 35 sites worldwide, I can honestly say this CMMS has worked really well for us. Setup was pretty easy and the system feels friendly enough for teams to start using without a lot of struggle. Since we're a global company with different languages and regional needs, having built-in translation support has made a huge difference for me. It helps keep everyone on the same page no matter where they are. We're also able to use shared databases and keep the same required workflows across every location which has helped our sites follow one consistent maintenance process and stick to standard task methods as best practice.
Cons
One challenge came up with teams that previously used SAP PM. They were used to searching assets through an Asset Tree and the version here doesn't quite match that experience. From what I've seen, the structure feels more limited, so it hasn't been as helpful for those users.

“well-organized maintenance tracking”
Pros
I had a really good experience using this for maintenance management and keeping up with tasks. Everything stays in order in a way that feels clear and simple to follow, so I can get through my work without feeling confused. The biggest plus for me is how nicely everything is laid out and that has made handling day-to-day duties a lot faster and more manageable.
Cons
When I first started using the software, it took a little time to get comfortable with it. I wasn't fully sure how everything worked right away. After using it for a while, though, things began to make sense and it started feeling much more natural.
