quick issue reporting win

Pros

this tool made my hotel issue reporting a lot simpler. I use it to send problems over to the maintenance team and the whole process feels very natural to me. Creating and sending a report is fast, so I'm not stuck clicking around or trying to figure out where things are. That saves me time during the day and it helps me keep up with my work without any hassle.

Cons

Up to now, I really haven't had any complaints. When I send in a report, the maintenance technician sees the problem immediately and can handle it quickly. That part has worked really well for me, so I don't have any negatives to point out so far.

Pros

This program has become part of my everyday routine and I use it all the time. It handles what I need really well and I can count on it day after day. Any time I need help, the support team is there and ready to jump in which makes the whole experience even better for me.

Cons

Honestly, I don't have anything major to note here. Everything has been running smoothly on my end and I haven't run into any real issues.

fast support that really helps

Pros

Any time I reach out, the support team sticks with the problem until it's actually fixed and that means a lot to me. Live chat and phone help have both been really reliable. When I needed something specific done in it for our operation, they didn't just brush it off. They worked with their internal team and got it handled for us. Another thing I've liked is how fast the system loads. That quick response really helps during the workday and makes using it feel a lot better.

Cons

One feature I'm still missing is a wireless hour meter. We use machines for golf course maintenance and our old system had one that fed usage data directly into the software. That was really useful because it would automatically trigger preventive maintenance when a unit hit its hour limit. Without that, there's more guesswork involved, making it harder to track when each machine needs service.

Good until you try to customize it

Pros

eMaint offers a wide range of built-in modules that cater to the needs of the entire maintenance and purchasing team. The work order and purchasing management modules, in particular, are highly powerful.

Cons

Unfortunately, if you have eMaint customize your system (which they are happy to do for a fee), the software becomes complex and unwieldy.

great modules and clunky custom setup

Pros

One thing I really like about it is how many built-in modules it has. It helps me support both our maintenance crew and the purchasing side without having to jump between different tools. The work order and purchasing features have been especially useful for me and there's a lot there to work with.

Cons

What bothered me was how messy the system felt after custom changes were added. While it's great that the platform can be tailored, in my case the tweaks made things more confusing and less comfortable to use than I expected.

Pros

I'm highly satisfied with the reporting and workflow features, as well as the ability to customize forms. This simplifies information capture and allows for effective communication of important system changes to users.

Cons

It would be great to have the ability to standardize the various tables, making it easier to control field inputs. Currently, I have to rely on form field validation for setup, but I might be missing something!

Pros

Cons

eMaint excellent choice for our business

Pros

The ease of use empowers me to track assets across multiple branches. Furthermore, the new messenger option allows me to directly communicate with my service technicians through the eMaint interface, saving both time and money.

Cons

One thing I don't appreciate is the absence of an option to delete messages in the messenger. For instance, when I message a technician to clarify a work order, I have no way of knowing if they have resolved the issue unless I manually check the work order itself. It creates extra work for me to backtrack and confirm if the problem has been addressed. If we had the option to delete messages, I would know that the problem was corrected.

There isn't much to like about it; the setup process has been disappointing and expensive.

Cons

They claim it's easy to use, and we even paid for setup services. However, the reports don't function properly, and whenever we contact support, we're directed to read articles and figure it out ourselves. It would be more helpful if they guided us through the setup process instead.

Honestly, I've been really pleased with the reporting, workflow features and how much I can tailor the forms in this software. It's helped me collect the right details a lot better and it also keeps users in the loop when important system updates or changes come up. That has made a big difference for me.

Cons

I still wish there was a way to normalize the different tables, as that would give me more control over what gets entered into fields. Right now, I manage that with form validation rules which works but it does feel a little limiting. There's also a chance I might have missed a built-in option for it.

constant fixes and poor setup

Pros

One thing I did like was how clearly the work orders print out. They spell out what the techs need to take care of each day and that has helped our crew stay more even with scheduling. It also gives everyone a clearer picture of the jobs that need to get done.

Cons

The biggest problem for me was that the system wasn't set up correctly from the start for what we actually needed it to do. Since then, I've run into several issues and too many features don't work as they should. We've had to contact support repeatedly to sort things out which has been really frustrating.

great maintenance tool for the money

Pros

Running a small business, I've gotten a lot out of this preventive maintenance system for what it costs. It helps me keep track of assets, follow contracts and handle work orders in one place without making things feel too complicated. There's a lot packed into it for the price and it's made staying organized way more doable for me.

Cons

The toughest part for me was getting everything set up at the beginning since I had to handle most of it myself. Even so, the support team was very helpful and their guidance made the process much smoother than I expected. That initial hassle didn't take away from my experience overall.

Cons
