adaptable system with responsive support

Pros

how user-friendly the system feels in day-to-day use. I've found the customer service team really pleasant to work with whenever we need to make changes, update information, or handle adjustments. From my experience, the software covers everything we currently need and I also appreciate that it has the capacity to grow with us and support future needs as our organization expands.

Cons

During our transition from the previous system, I did run into a few glitches related to customer service support. That said, those issues were identified, brought to their attention and have since been corrected, so the switch has ultimately gone much better now.

Pros

I can switch between searches without any hassle and I really like being able to apply filters to narrow things down exactly how I need. What stands out most to me is that I'm also able to build custom reports which makes the software feel much more useful for my day-to-day work.

Cons

At times, I've noticed that the report I need can take longer than expected to generate which can be a little frustrating when I'm trying to get something quickly.

Pros

What I appreciate most is how easily I can tailor the software to fit our specific needs. It gives me the flexibility to adjust things in a way that actually works for our team instead of forcing us into a limited setup.

Cons

Onboarding felt unhelpful. We were left to figure out most of the setup and workflow on our own which made the early experience more frustrating than it should have been.

Pros

I really like how connected everything feels within the system. If I can't find something one way, I can usually track it down through another path which makes day-to-day use much smoother.

Cons

One thing I did notice, though, is that the system seemed to have quite a few bugs. From my experience, I don't remember running into this many issues back when I was only using x3.

Pros

The configurability is a big win for me. By the time implementation was done, the system felt almost like it was custom-built for our organization and that made it a much better fit for how we operate.

Cons

What I like the least is the mobile application. In my experience, that part still needs improvement and I'm hoping the upcoming updates make the mobile app perform better.

Customer support has also been a highlight. Whenever I've needed help, the team has been responsive and helpful. I also like that users can make certain changes on their own and I can handle smaller configurations internally without needing to pay extra or wait on the vendor.

Cons

One limitation I've run into is with barcode scanning. From what I've seen, the application handles it well only on Android and iOS devices. When I'm using a Windows-based tablet or device, there isn't a aligned barcode scanning option, so the process feels much more tedious and unnecessarily complicated. Another thing I'd really like is an offline mobile version for people like me who spend time in the field without wireless or cellular service, with syncing available once the device reconnects, ideally without any extra charge. I'd also prefer the "Interactive Plans" table to be included as a standard feature instead of having to request it separately for each user.

Pros

Once I got everything set up, I found the software very user-friendly. What really stood out, though, was the onboarding support. Even with limited experience, I felt like I could get comfortable with the system pretty quickly. Another big advantage for me was cost savings since the web-based setup meant I didn't need to invest in new hardware and could keep using older devices.

Cons

For me, the biggest downside is that it is not quite as simple as I would prefer. Some features are only manageable once I already know exactly where to look and without that, finding certain things can be frustrating.

I've also noticed how many functions the tool offers and that really shows in daily use. On top of that, the support team has been dependable whenever I've needed assistance.

Cons

this tool is built mostly around facility maintenance and management, so some features don't adapt very easily when I want to use it for other types of applications. Because of that, I've noticed that certain configurations can feel a bit limiting outside its main intended use.

One thing that stands out is how well it adapts to our actual maintenance process. The Fluke integration is especially valuable, as it makes condition monitoring and predictive maintenance much more effective in real use.

Cons

From my experience, the out-of-the-box functionality feels incomplete when it comes to the basics. I noticed there are several quirks and some features have to be manually enabled before the system works the way I'd expect. Those obstacles can easily slow down a rollout and it often feels like the issues only get addressed after they cause problems. In my view, it really needs a dedicated team focused on delivering a more ready-to-use setup so users can get started without so much friction.

Pros

The system feels very flexible overall. It can handle just about anything I need and I think moving fully to X5 will make it even better. I also like the clean look and how everything is organized. The support team has been quick and helpful and the reporting tools give me plenty of flexibility depending on what I need. I also appreciate being able to customize user permissions, whether by role or individual access.

Cons

One issue I have run into is that some parts of the program are not very simple to locate. In my view, part of that comes from the fact that certain areas of the tool still operate on the X3 platform while others are on X5, so the split setup can be a little confusing. I think it will be a much better experience once everything is fully running on X5. The mobile version has also felt somewhat limited and not as flexible as I would like which has been frustrating at times. That said, I understand that the mobile experience is also expected to move fully to X5 and I believe that should bring a major improvement.

Pros

Another thing I like is how well it integrates with other software we already use. That makes things more convenient and I've found the platform easy to work with overall. Generating reports for audits has also been simple which is really useful in my daily work.

Cons

there really is not anything specific that I dislike on my end. That said, I can tell there is still a lot of room for growth, especially as our company plans to expand how we use the platform. I'd personally appreciate a bit more training around what features are available and how to use them to better accomplish our goals.

I originally just needed a way to manage a few recurring maintenance tasks and this tool turned that into a much more organized process. I can now schedule both routine and on-demand work which makes planning and tracking everything much easier and helps ensure nothing gets missed.

Cons

There is a bit of a learning curve at the beginning, at least from my experience but that feels pretty normal for software like this. Once I spent a little time practicing and getting familiar with the features, I was able to pick up the functionality fairly quickly.

flexible reporting for farm upkeep

What I appreciate most is how customizable the reporting is. I can pull exactly the details I need about our equipment without any hassle which makes it easy to see what maintenance is still pending and what's already been completed. For managing tractors and other farm equipment, it's been a great fit and really supports how I handle maintenance.

Cons

the price is definitely on the high side, so that part can be hard to overlook at first. Still, when I compare that cost to the amount of time I save and how much more organized my maintenance process has become, I honestly feel it pays for itself.

Pros

One thing I really like is how easily I can tailor the system to match my team's needs. Creating work orders or requests is quick and easy, so it never slows me down. The user hierarchy has also been very useful for assigning the right access levels. Since it's web-based, I can log in from anywhere which helps me stay connected. I also appreciated that trainers were sent on-site to guide us through setup and the ability to connect with monitoring tools has made data collection much easier.

Cons

One area that gave me trouble was setting up the reports, because that part can be pretty difficult to figure out. When I reached out to customer service, I was told they would rather handle the report setup for users instead of walking people through how to build their own reports. That part was a little frustrating for me since I would have preferred to learn it myself. Still, once the reports are finally configured, I've found that they are very simple to run and use after that.

The support team really stood out to me during the transition. I felt supported the whole way through which made the process feel smooth. The dashboard has also been a big help since it lets me manage multiple sites from one place without any confusion.

Cons

One thing I noticed is that getting every part of the system installed takes quite a while. I also feel the pricing would be easier to justify if a few more technician seats were included, or if there were a better balance between admin access and tech accounts.

Customer service has been exceptional in my experience. Managing operations across multiple facilities can be challenging but this tool has handled that side of my work really well.
