Pros
There's a lot built into this and I really like having inventory management, asset tracking, site monitoring and work order scheduling all in one place. It helps me keep things organized without jumping between different systems. After using it for a while, I felt like it did a great job of keeping day-to-day operations under control.
Cons
Getting started took me a little time because the layout felt confusing at first and it wasn't always obvious where to find things. After I spent more time with it, the setup started to click. Having some experience with spreadsheets definitely helped me get more comfortable using it.

Running a fleet across different branches was tough before but this system has really helped me stay organized. Even with technicians spread out in several locations, I can pull up equipment from other branches, look over repair history, check parts stock and keep a close eye on preventive maintenance. The PM alerts have been a huge help for me because they take away a lot of the back-and-forth and save me time chasing updates. My team picked it up pretty quickly and the layout feels simple enough to use day to day without much confusion. Another thing I've liked is how quickly support gets back to me and the help center has been handy when I need answers after normal business hours.
Cons
The one drawback I've noticed is that connecting it with other software can be a bit tricky at times. Because of that, I've had to contact support more often than I expected, although it hasn't been a major problem overall.

Cons

Being able to talk with everyone face to face made the whole thing feel a lot more personal and I really liked that. There was plenty of support the whole time and their patience meant a lot while they walked me through everything. Cons
The only downside for me was the short time frame. Three days didn't feel like enough to go through everything and fully cover the material in a way that felt complete.

this tool felt like something I could really shape around the way I work. I can change field names, add new ones, tweak forms and set up workflows that match pretty much any process I need. The reporting and dashboard side has been really great for me too and the connection with Fluke instruments has been a big plus. One of the biggest wins is being able to build brand-new modules outside the default setup which makes the whole platform feel a lot more versatile. On top of that, the support team has been reliably quick, smart and helpful any time I've reached out. It also feels like they actually pay attention to customer input and make updates based on it which I really respect. Having API access gives me even more freedom to expand what the system can handle.
Cons
The main thing I'd like improved is the X5 documentation. More clear and in-depth info, especially around role permissions, would help a lot with setup and ongoing admin work.

The work order management features of eMaint x4 and x5 are exceptional. However, integrating condition monitoring into x4 was challenging, and we're yet to determine if x5 will address this. The marketing team assures us that x5 will perform well in this regard.
Cons
The support team at x4 didn't provide much assistance when explaining how to integrate handheld and fixed vibration measuring tools into our condition monitoring workflow. We haven't reached that stage yet with the x5 rollout.
