supportive team and easy switch

Pros

Getting this set up felt a lot less stressful than I expected because I had a very supportive team behind me. They stayed helpful from start to finish and really worked with me to move all of our data out of the old system. That whole changeover felt much more doable with their help and I never felt left on my own during the process.

Cons

Since most of my time with it was spent on the setup part and not the everyday user side, I still run into moments where I have a hard time finding the information I need.

really user-friendly and convenient tool!!

Pros

this tool felt pretty natural for me and the layout made sense right away. The part I liked most was how simple it was to move around and use without any confusion. I also had a good experience with the accessibility features and that made everything feel more comfortable and convenient for me overall.

Cons

Every now and then, I run into slower loading times, usually when some technical problem pops up. It does not happen all the time but it can still be annoying for me when I need to finish something fast.

really handy with perfect support

Pros

Using this tool has been pretty easy for me and I like being able to add photos to assets without dealing with a bunch of extra steps. Another big plus is the support team. They've been responsive and helpful anytime I've had a question or needed help with something.

Cons

Something that still trips me up now and then is that the technician view doesn't match the admin side. Because the layouts look different, I sometimes have to go back and confirm we're all looking at the same details.

Education Management, 101-500 employees

5.0

powerful setup and amazing support

Pros

this program gave me way more control than most systems I've used. I can build my own templates, add or remove fields and even create custom fields that weren't part of the original CMMS. That kind of freedom has really helped me shape the system around the way we work instead of having to change our process to fit the software. A big plus for me is how information moves automatically from one template to another which cuts down a lot on technician paperwork and saves us plenty of office time. Report building has also been a huge win since I can pull together reports on pretty much any topic whenever I need them and share updates with management without making them log in. Bulk changes are another thing I use all the time. Moving 100 work orders from one tech to another takes me less than two minutes and that saves a ton of time. With the work order tools, I can set rules and preset actions so the system handles a lot of things on its own and that means I don't have to keep checking it all day. Since I'm able to set rules for every field, there's also a lot less room for mistakes. On top of all that, the one-on-one support has been outstanding. Over the past 16 years, I've reached out hundreds of times and they've been quick, professional and truly helpful almost every single time. Very rarely have I ended a call without getting the problem fixed and to me that says a lot about how much they care.

Cons

One thing that still takes more time than I want is stacking preventive maintenance schedules. That part feels a little more involved than it should be. I'm also not thrilled that the mobile app costs extra instead of being part of the main package, because that added charge can be annoying.

all-in-one system that really helps

Pros

Having one system to manage reactive and urgent repairs, building upkeep, machine shop jobs and inventory has been a big win for me. It keeps everything tied together in one place and that makes the whole maintenance process feel a lot more organized and connected.

Cons

headache for me is still the mobile app my technicians use. The search tools feel too basic, so my team spends way too much time digging through work orders and scrolling more than they should. That gets old fast. It would help a lot if the app showed more than one column, because even adding a few more would let them see the full job details in one view. Right now, all 14 of my techs complain about this regularly. A lot of them still print work orders and toss out the extra pages that do not even apply to them which is frustrating since we wanted to cut back on paper, not keep wasting it.

packed with useful tools

Pros

At first, I didn't notice everything this software could do but after spending more time with it, a lot more started to click. There's actually a pretty big set of tools built in and once I got familiar with it, the product felt great and full of useful options.

Cons

only downside for me was the local support team. Dealing with them was really frustrating and I honestly had a hard time getting any real help when I needed it. That ended up being the most disappointing part of using the software.

hidden fees and poor service

Pros

To be honest, I really didn't come away with much that felt useful here. Right from the start, I felt like the sales side wasn't clear with me and that same irritation followed me all the way to trying to cancel.

Cons

issue for me was all the extra costs. Even in-depth training for clients on how to use the platform came with another fee. It honestly felt like every basic thing I needed was pushed as an add-on and that made the whole experience even more frustrating.

really pleasant to use

Pros

I felt comfortable using this tool. The whole setup feels simple and I can click around without any hassle. The design makes sense to me, so finding what I need usually takes very little time. Because of that, I'm able to get things done fast without feeling confused or stuck.

Cons

At the same time, a few sections still feel a little awkward to get through. Every now and then, I have to poke around longer than I want before I land on the right spot. So while most of it works well for me, the navigation in some areas could still be clearer.

simple setup and daily use

Pros

Getting this up and running didn't take much effort for me, so I was able to jump in pretty quickly. The platform also felt pretty user-friendly in my everyday work and that made the whole experience a really positive one.

Cons

The biggest drawback for me has been the price, it came out higher than I was hoping to pay for a tool like this.

really capable for daily work

Pros

this tool felt natural to me but it still has a lot built into it. I can use it for a wide mix of products which helps me get different jobs done without bouncing between several platforms. For everyday work, it has been reliable, useful and pretty well balanced.

Cons

Dealing with the support team's time difference has been frustrating because it can take longer than I want to get a response. Another annoyance is that I can't add users myself and have to contact support first which slows me down when I need to make changes quickly.

Look for a different option.

Pros

The demonstration was impressive, showcasing the system in a captivating manner.

Cons

The implementation program feels more like a Q&A session than an actual implementation program. Support doesn't always offer the assistance I need. The sales team tends to make promises without comprehensive knowledge of the system.

looked polished, but let me down

Pros

The demo honestly looked really polished. I could tell a lot of effort went into showing off what the platform could do and it made the product seem pretty powerful. At that stage, I came away thinking it had a lot of promise and could be a really great fit.

Cons

When the rollout first started, it felt way too loose. I ended up leading most of the setup conversations and asking all the questions myself which was frustrating. I expected a clearer plan and more hands-on help. Support felt hit or miss and sometimes it didn't feel like anyone was really there to help. On top of that, the sales side seemed eager to say yes to everything but didn't seem fully familiar with the product to back up those promises.

The best CMMS system I've used

Pros

It's incredibly user-friendly, allowing me to design customized work orders that perfectly suit our business needs.

Cons

The charts in x4 lack robustness, and I'm considering upgrading to x5 to address this issue. Overall, I have no complaints about eMaint.

Pros

Instead of asking what I like, the question should be, "What DON'T I like?" The easy access to reporting, prompt online support, and the mobile CMMS have exceeded my expectations. Gone are the days of relying on notebooks and struggling to recall past tasks.

Cons

The communication between Fluke Mobile and eMaint hasn't been seamless, which raises concerns about the online connectivity options provided by Fluke.
