“Affordable way to book spaces
Pros
Booking rooms and other spaces is simple and cost-effective. I can even send emails tied to each reservation so I'm able to directly communicate with the person who created the booking.
Cons
I can't figure out how to integrate it with our billing system and while the messaging inside a reservation does let me leave notes in the summary, the communication features feel somewhat basic because I can't easily cc colleagues across the organization so they also receive a copy of the approved booking.

“They take feedback into account
Pros
We really appreciate how convenient it is. The support team has been incredible. We even suggested a search-related feature and to our surprise, it arrived in the very next release. They had told me it would come but I didn't fully expect it to actually happen.
Cons
I do notice a few minor glitches still persist in the app, particularly how the calendar renders on my iPhone. I also find that the reporting tools can be a bit tricky when I'm trying to extract very specific results. Overall these annoyances are fairly small.

Pros
What I find remarkable is that this program is an all-encompassing tool yet remains incredibly user-friendly. eSPACE has managed to break down the complexities involved in running and maintaining a facility into simple steps so that almost anyone can get the hang of it.
Cons
No drawbacks. It works smoothly for my needs and I can't point to anything that feels like a shortcoming.

Pros
I'm really impressed with the way eSpace is organized. The site has a clean, attractive design that actually simplifies my work and helps me get things done more quickly.
Cons
Sometimes I wish the software were a bit more user-friendly because it can be hard to quickly tell which rooms are available when I'm trying to plan or book spaces.

Been enjoying the updated app and how it lets me adjust its features to fit my needs. It has been helpful in organizing our classroom.
Cons

I've found it simple to operate and it has been really helpful for our organization since we manage several meeting spaces.
Cons
Whenever I sign in, those chat pop-ups that appear every single time feel unnecessary and because I log in multiple times a day they interrupt my flow and are quite disruptive.

Pros
Their team keeps rolling out new features which has made a big difference. When we began and they explained the idea-submission and voting process, I had my doubts that suggestions would actually be implemented yet they've now incorporated almost all of the enhancements we proposed and I'm convinced additional requests are still being worked on.
Cons
Although certain parts of the user interface still feel somewhat dated, I can see steady progress and improvements. Because the app is relatively new it obviously requires more development and polish but I'm optimistic that continued updates will address those shortcomings.

“Great for keeping in touch with maintenance crew
Pros
Operationally it's really simple and I often use it to flag the office manager so they can order supplies or to loop in the maintenance crew about repairs and equipment setups. Beyond that, we can monitor progress and watch items get completed which helps keep our team organized.
Cons
I wish there was a more reliable way to nudge coworkers back into the system to mark tasks as finished because otherwise items can sit unresolved. Personally I've had trouble figuring out and managing the long-term maintenance list and its workflow.

“Solid product with friendly team
Pros
Updates they roll out consistently impress me. New features and improvements are genuinely remarkable and I find myself excited each time a release lands. Their support staff have even taken the initiative to call me during problem investigations and when I asked for specific changes they actually implemented them, doing so with a friendliness and generosity that stands out. All of that feels like icing on the cake compared to the solid core product eSpace delivers. I also really enjoy the "Post Idea" feature since it lets me see how other people are using the software.
Cons
I'd love a simple way to download CSV files, make bulk edits and re-upload them for things like inventory, equipment lists and similar datasets because that capability would save me a lot of time. Having an internal chat system built into the platform would be another welcome addition that would make communication much smoother across our team. It wouldn't shock me if eSpace rolls these kinds of tools into a future release but until then the absence of those features keeps me from getting the absolute most out of the product right now.

Being able to view every event directly on the calendar is something I really appreciate. It covers all of my scheduling needs and does so in a simple, no-frills way.
Cons

Pros
Because our organization now operates out of multiple locations around the city, this software has become absolutely essential for keeping all of our operations organized and coordinated. It makes managing our calendar much easier since we can clearly see upcoming events at a glance. Furthermore, we really love that it's web-based so anyone on the team can log in from anywhere.

“Accessible calendar for the whole staff
Pros
We've come to rely on having a calendar that's readily available to everyone on the team and that also handles room bookings with clear, simple steps to set up an event. Using eSpace feels simple and tweaking the settings is uncomplicated giving us the flexibility to tailor its capabilities to different needs.
Cons
After the latest update, they merged the Spaces and Services sections into a single 'Items' tab, which means our team no longer gets shown the separate Services page by default. Because we're not used to hunting for Services, now it's far too effortless to click 'Next' and move past that whole area without ever noticing it. This creates a real headache when different groups across our staff pull reports that depend on which services were requested for events, since all too often events that actually needed a service end up lacking a request simply because the option was skipped by accident.

“Useful hovering feature
Pros
I can immediately tell what's scheduled and I like that hovering over an event reveals basic details while also giving me the choice to make each event public or keep it private.
Cons
I'm bothered by the limited printing options and page set-up. I would really appreciate seeing more simple choices for printing event information so that people who aren't computer savvy can produce hard copies without having to upgrade to the report feature.

What I really appreciate is how it covers everything I need and on top of that it offers live-chat tech support that's great for when I need a quick answer. It also allows multiple users and runs in the cloud and honestly there are far too many good features to enumerate here.

“They actually listen to us!
Pros
We've never had Softway lock up on us which has been a relief. Their customer support is so good. They genuinely hear what users tell them and then use that feedback to shape and improve subsequent software upgrades. So I feel like our requests actually influence the product's development.
Cons
I know they're still developing a maintenance module and I'll be genuinely glad when it's finished. I'd really prefer the calendar to open on whatever specific day I choose instead of defaulting only to the month view. Beyond those two items I don't have any real complaints about the software.

Pros
I really appreciate that events are color-coded so it's easy to distinguish them and I can also tell who reserved particular spaces and which areas are booked. Everyone on our team can access the calendar and it's even integrated with our HVAC automated system.
Cons
Because we don't make use of several of the available features, our workflow ends up burdened with additional screens that I have to guide other users through when we're trying to reserve a room.

Pros
I can quickly check which spaces are booked and toggle the calendar between daily and monthly views, which makes scheduling simple. The customer support team usually responds promptly when I reach out. Although I've already told CS about the set-up glitch they claim to have fixed, I have still experienced it but I'm confident it will be sorted once I submit a concrete example.
Cons
When I change the booked room for a particular date, the set-up configuration doesn't stick and I end up having to reapply the set-up not only to the original space but also to the new date/space which is frustrating because it adds extra steps to what should be a simple adjustment. I hope they fix this persistent behavior soon.

Love how effortlessly I can use it from any location whether I'm at work or at home. The user-friendly editing tools let me update things quickly, making adjustments fast.
Cons
The calendar doesn't sync with other calendars like Google so I can't easily see which rooms are already booked before I try to reserve space for an event.
