Very useful

Pros

I love that it includes resources for our room setups! The app is also great for submitting pictures with maintenance requests.

Cons

I don't like how the schedule appears on the calendar. Our large campus is shared by several organizations, so the schedule looks very cluttered.

Pros

I like that our entire organization can view activities across all divisions on one platform.

Cons

It might be due to the options our organization chose, but navigating the site is challenging. Perhaps with more time, it will become easier. Sometimes I find it difficult to locate specific items.

Pros

An all-in-one facilities planning calendar that integrates everything, down to the number of chairs and HVAC schedules.

Cons

Sorting, downloading, and curating specific calendars without showing every event isn't an option, which can be frustrating. Having tiered events that could be exported in an intuitive calendar format would be ideal.

Excellent Facility Scheduling Software

Pros

The ability to schedule numerous rooms easily and see any potential conflicts.

Cons

You can't select all rooms with one click when scheduling a building closure, which means you have to select each room individually, taking extra time.

Pros

The program is versatile and provides plenty of options, giving you the information needed for your team and preventing double bookings.

Cons

There could be more customization for reports instead of exporting to Excel. Easily customizable reporting would be a great addition.

Great tool for scheduling and organizing our space

Pros

It has great flexibility to track individual items in the system while organizing various areas of our church in one system (e.g., scheduling rooms, managing chair inventory, and meeting room needs).

Cons

Because it's a database, it lacks the intuitive icons most apps have. It's a great tool, but I wish it had a smoother flow.

The Best Event Scheduling Software There Is. Period.

Pros

eSPACE is full of powerful features and works wonderfully for our church. It's easy to manage events and schedules. We can see which departments are affected by certain events and what is required from each.

Cons

The Android app lacks integration with Google's calendar, which would be invaluable so I don't have to switch between multiple calendars constantly.

Pros

Nice how it helps keep our 300+ person organization on track with meeting room and workspace availability.

Cons

As someone who uses eSPACE, I find that it offers an extensive set of features which let our organization adjust workflows to meet our particular needs.

Cons

I do feel that getting everything set up requires substantial upfront effort to ensure the system is fully prepared for our use.

Reasonable pricing

Pros

What really draws me to this product is its affordability. The price tier it sits in delivers exceptional value so I feel like you get a great deal for what you pay. Also, the customer support is solid and administrators find the interface simple to learn and use.

Cons

While I appreciate many aspects, I do wish the platform included a richer set of built-in workflows and automation features right out of the gate because as it stands the offering feels largely pre-configured and ready-to-use which can limit opportunities for deeper customization.

Not hard to train employees

Pros

I find it very easy to handle which makes it simple for me to train colleagues so they can publish when necessary while I retain oversight of the administrative side of things.

Cons

Although I would like several shortcut features that aren't available yet, I find that the customer support team is very receptive and makes it simple for me to propose and discuss new ideas.

Detailed calendar module

Pros

From my experience, the calendar module felt quite detailed offering a powerful set of features that covered most scheduling needs.

Cons

I noticed that it sometimes took a frustratingly long time for an event I added to appear and be formatted correctly which slowed down my workflow.

Can embed calendar on website

Pros

I've relied on eSPACE for years and what I really value is how it keeps everyone in sync about which parts of our building are being used, making scheduling transparent across the team. What I enjoy most is that I can embed the calendar right on our website.

Cons

Every so often the notification system behaves strangely and I'll receive emails asking me to approve events that I'm not responsible for, which might be an internal routing problem on our side. It's honestly the only issue I can point to.

Our team is happy with it

Pros

For our large organization, having a single, standardized process to book rooms, specify set-ups and request supplies has been a huge win and keeps our teams genuinely satisfied. Each step clearly explains what's needed and what I appreciate most is the thoughtful attention to detail applied to each individual, personalized request.

Cons

I didn't fully appreciate how challenging it could be for some users until I had to walk someone through the system who is over fifty and since she didn't grow up in the era when everyone had a computer, she struggled with the numerous steps required to make a reservation. While we could certainly have offered better or more patient training, the fact remains that the more complex your reservation is, the more separate screens and decisions are needed to complete it, which makes it especially difficult for less tech-savvy employees.

Way better than other systems we used

Pros

I've found eSPACE's facility management and event-scheduling tools to be truly unique and after trying several other platforms over the years, this system surpasses all the ones we used before.

Cons

Gives me an overview of all activities

Pros

I get an excellent, consolidated view of the organization's activities and events, which helps me stay informed and quickly see what's happening across teams without jumping through different sections.

Cons

On smaller devices such as iPhones, I wish the interface was better optimized because using it on the go often feels cramped and a bit awkward.

We use it to reserve rooms

Pros

At my organization, we rely on eSPACE to book rooms and resources, manage calendar events and even program HVAC settings. And because it's fairly customizable and simple, I find it easy enough for daily use. We also use it to submit service requests, which has been useful for me personally since whenever HVAC, maintenance or other assistance is needed, I put in a ticket through the system and it routes to the appropriate team.

Cons

Found the calendar-request side of the tool somewhat hard to get the hang of and when scheduling conflicts pop up, the interface offers very little guidance or suggested ways to resolve those clashes, which can be time-consuming as I try to work out alternatives.

covers all aspects of facility management

Pros

In my experience, this platform brings together virtually every facet of running a facility like meetings and events scheduling, housekeeping and maintenance workflows, inventory control so I rarely find a management function that isn't covered.

Cons

I noticed that rolling out the new software across a large facility can potentially be a lengthy, resource-intensive process that requires careful planning and time to complete.

Allows you to give detailed input!

Pros

What I appreciate most is that the app lets me input comprehensive details about the setup that's required, allowing me to precisely document configurations and prerequisites instead of having to guess or leave things vague.

Cons

Honestly, there really isn't anything about this software that I can point to and say I disliked, since it has met my expectations and I haven't come across any aspects that bothered me.
