Best CMMS I've used.

Pros

It's evident that this system was designed from the ground up with the end-users in mind. Many CMMS systems were created by individuals who don't actually use them, and it shows. The user-friendly functionality and extensive options make MaintainX stand out among other choices, even those offered by well-established industry leaders.

Cons

There are some functions I would like to see added, but I must commend the responsive team who have already made improvements to the software within the short time I've been a customer.

Great CMMS Program for the Price!

Pros

The ease of use extends from the requestor's side, where you can effortlessly submit work requests and receive updated comments, to the administrative side, where assigning work requests, managing assets, creating procedures, and scheduling preventive maintenance on equipment is seamless.

Cons

I have no complaints; it's a highly functional program.

Maintain X Performance Review

Pros

Seamlessly manage work orders, assets, parts tracking, and inventory management.

Cons

I have a great appreciation for Maintaix-X, although I do wish for enhancements in their reporting area, including the incorporation of more advanced filtering options.

Pros

I value the ease of utilizing my mobile device or tablet directly at the equipment. When creating a proactive maintenance task, I can do it right at the machine, offering thorough instructions. Moreover, I adore the capability to capture images of the precise location or item that needs to be addressed.

Cons

The only downside I can see is when I've written a detailed preventive maintenance task, added photos, completed the task, and somehow lose it. I think it's because I forgot to save before exiting. It's on me, but I wonder if a notice could appear, asking, "Are you sure you don't want to save before losing your work?"

Pros

The ease of use and simple training make this program highly useful and easy to implement.

Cons

Making changes through customer support can sometimes be a hassle. User feedback takes too long to be implemented, and sometimes features are launched without clear direction or not incorporating our feedback, like the asset downtime portal.

Simple to report issues

Pros

Great for creating and tracking maintenance tasks

Pros

Creating and tracking maintenance tasks has become so easy. I can raise work orders with just a few clicks and monitor everything in real-time. The level of detail available when reviewing assigned tasks is amazing and being able to see exactly what's happening as it unfolds has transformed how I approach maintenance planning. It's opened up possibilities I never knew existed in this role.

Cons

The search function for finding assets could use some improvement. Other than that everything is great.

Our one-stop shop

Pros

Lets me handle everything in one place. Creating purchase orders with my own ID system, managing inventory for repairs, scheduling maintenance and tracking patterns. What I really appreciate is being able to add comments, documents and photos to work orders whenever I need to, whether it's right away or later on.

Cons

I'm still waiting for them to add a "request for quotation" feature in the purchase order area. It's such a small addition that would make a huge difference.

Excellent for communication regarding work orders

Pros

I really like how this helps us coordinate work orders across our entire facility. We've been using it for clubhouse maintenance and it makes getting tasks completed so much more efficient. The communication flow is excellent.

Cons

Can't view when requests were actually sent out which is frustrating as a user.

Handles PM scheduling

Pros

It handles PM scheduling well and keeps track of all the historical reactive work order data.

Cons

Filtering doesn't capture all completed work orders properly. Results from filtered searches don't match what I see in Calendar View. The calendar actually shows more entries than the filter does. Plus there are some bugs when using the mobile app, which is a problem since all my team members rely on it for creating and closing work orders.

Works great on mobile devices

Pros

It works very well on mobile devices. Being able to take pictures while I'm out in the field makes it so much easier to identify different jobs. The QR code feature is fantastic. It speeds up searches and cuts down on data entry time significantly. What I like most is that the interface isn't cluttered like other systems I've used.

Cons

When going through work orders and you complete or modify one, you don't continue where you left off. It takes you back to the top, forcing you to start your search all over again.

Simple procedures

Pros

Found it quite user friendly and building a procedure library has been a game-changer for helping other techs, especially when we're bringing new people on board. It keeps everyone up to speed with our workflow. The procedures are simple and feel natural once you get used to them.

Cons

The system doesn't automatically update broken part quantities in the inventory when parts get deducted from work orders. Would really help if this happened automatically instead of having to manually track broken parts separately.
