valuable tool

Pros

Nearly all of its features are available for free which is a big plus. The interface is simple to work with, the navigation is very user-friendly and it supports multiple edits along with different formats like PDF, PPT, DOCX and more.

Cons

One issue comes up when exporting documents or saved work. It doesn't always keep the original formatting intact and sometimes the words get mixed up while the spacing becomes irregular.

love the results

Pros

Whether I'm putting together social posts, presentations or other design work, Canva has been a very flexible tool for all kinds of projects. The platform is simple to navigate, includes plenty of customization features and offers a large selection of attractive templates. I've used it for many different purposes and I'm consistently happy with how everything turns out. It also makes creating more dynamic projects possible and the AI prompt writing feature is a helpful addition when you're trying to get exactly the result you want.

Cons

At this point, I really haven't run into anything I dislike about it. The only improvement I'd like to see is the ability to share a presentation with OptiSigns in a way that updates automatically whenever changes are made in this tool so the OptiSigns feed stays current without extra work.

canva keeps getting better

Pros

This tool keeps impressing me more and more. It feels like the company is gradually turning into one of the best in the design space and the way they're evolving with AI is genuinely mind-blowing.

Cons

A few features still need work especially PDF editing because it's not yet possible to edit a PDF perfectly in it and there are still some limitations. At times, I also get confused trying to find my way back home to start a new design and I sometimes struggle to locate my past uploads. One more issue is the download speed, whenever I finish creating something and try to download it, it can be very slow. I'm pretty sure it's not my internet since other downloads work much faster.

Glad to have it

Pros

Even without being a designer and despite having worked with Adobe Suite and Figma, I keep coming back to Canva. It gives marketers a simple way to create visually impressive work, whether it's landing pages or presentations.

Cons

there's almost nothing not to love about it. The overall user experience is excellent and my only wish is that the AI tool were a little more polished.

Excellent tool!

Pros

Getting started with this platform feels very simple and it comes with plenty of helpful elements, features and add-ons. It's one of the quickest ways to reach a finished result and actually see your final outcome.

Cons

The interface is a bit too colorful for my taste. As an architect, I usually prefer a more aesthetic, monochromatic black-and-white design, where the product stays the main focus instead of the platform used to create it. Still, it's not a major issue.

we all trust it

Pros

Canva is very user-friendly and lets me put together all kinds of media and flyers in no time. It also comes with plenty of ready-made templates and design elements to choose from.

Cons

One challenge with it is adding corporate branding assets to stay consistent with brand guidelines especially when it comes to using company fonts.

Pros

I really appreciate everything they provide, like templates, stickers and other elements. The ready-made templates are a real highlight especially when I'm running low on inspiration.

Cons

Printing isn't always simple. Some templates are paid as well and it would also be helpful to have a few short training sessions.

Has been great

Pros

Reallt has been fantastic for my work. I can upload my brand templates, colors and logos and it's been really helpful to have everything in one place. I also love how much freedom there is to customize the built-in templates so they match exactly what I need.

Cons

I don't have any complaints. I recently wished there was a way to use multiple sizes within the same design file and it ended up adding that feature.

Tons of templates

Pros

Getting started with it is very simple and the huge selection of templates makes it fast to put together professional-looking designs.

Cons

A few features are only available with the Pro version and the app can sometimes lag or slow down when handling larger projects.

perfect for small teams

Pros

SO easy and simple getting quality results with this.. which makes it a really good fit for low-tech companies. Small businesses that don't have the budget for a graphic design team should definitely consider using it.

Cons

The output can feel a little off-brand at times since you have to pick a template and stay within that style. That said, there's still a solid range of template choices available.

my go-to design companion

Pros

Whether I'm putting together presentations for meetings or jotting down notes to support solution pitches, it helps me create visuals that look polished and appealing every day. It's also convenient because team members can access the work whenever they need it for reference. I use it for Instagram content and other social media posts too especially for creating eye-catching festive wishes. I've even tested the AI feature and it's been amazing. Canva has become the app I rely on for all my designing needs.

Cons

I don't have anything negative to say about it. It feels more simple to use than other similar platforms and I genuinely love using it.

works smoothly

Pros

Design work has become much more simple for our church with it and we absolutely appreciate that they provide it free for non-profits. We ended our Adobe subscription and now rely entirely on Canva instead.

Cons

We've tried Canva's printing service a handful of times and the quality hasn't always been the best. It really depends on what we're printing so for certain jobs we still prefer using a local printer.

polished designs for social posts

Pros

It has been a really user-friendly option for handling graphic design for our small business. We rely on it a lot for social media posts and the results look far more polished and professional than what we were able to create with other platforms we tried before.

Cons

A few templates cost more than we would prefer..

fun interface

Pros

Having a free version that gives you plenty to work with is a big plus and the pro plan definitely feels worth paying for. The interface is playful and user-friendly and they seem to roll out new features on a regular basis. It also has a nice visual design and sharing projects with other people is really convenient. The one time I contacted support, they were friendly, pleasant and helpful.

Cons

One frustrating thing is that I've accidentally had the same project open in two different windows without noticing which ended up making me redo a lot of work. The photo editing tools are also pretty limited. I'd really like to see more filter options added, similar to what Instagram offers.

so good

Pros

Creating image-based presentations in this softwar has been a fantastic experience. I've been using PowerPoint since the early days and Canva feels incredibly easy when it comes to building striking, high-impact visuals for presentations.

Cons

Something I don't enjoy is managing multiple accounts because it's very easy to end up in the wrong one by mistake. The recent change to the opening interface hasn't helped with that organization issue either.

user friendly

Pros

One of the best parts of Canva Pro is the massive selection of templates which helps me put together content much faster. The Teams feature has also been really useful since it lets our group collaborate and share designs without any hassle. I use the background remover constantly as well. From social media graphics to brochures, it has made the entire design process a lot more efficient for me.

Cons

The biggest drawback is the cost. Canva Pro is very useful but it can feel pretty pricey especially when you need licenses for several team members.

free design tools that deliver

Pros

Creating posters, logos, gift vouchers and plenty of other promotional materials for my business at no cost has been a huge advantage. Even using the free version, there are still more than enough tools to put together designs that match my own style and ideas. The keyword template search is really clever too and makes finding the right starting point much quicker.

Cons

What has been a bit frustrating lately is that quite a few images and stickers seem to have been moved into the paid version which can be disappointing at times. I also use the app on both my phone and iPad and the experience is slightly different on each device so that can be confusing now and then.

A complete design tool

Pros

This tool has been a really versatile and approachable design platform that makes putting together polished graphics both quick and enjoyable. Whether it's social media content, presentations, marketing pieces or even videos, it comes with a massive collection of templates and creative assets that help you produce impressive results without needing high-level design experience. The drag-and-drop editor feels natural to use and the collaboration tools make it simple for teams to create and edit together in real time. Canva also keeps rolling out new features, effects and templates so the platform continues to feel current and useful across all kinds of creative work.

Cons

A limitation is that a number of the more advanced tools, assets and templates are only available through the Pro plan which can feel a bit restrictive when you're depending on the free version.

Feels incredible to create with it

Pros

Canva AI is honestly incredible. It can take a few small adjustments to dial in the exact graphic you want but WOW, the results are impressive.

Cons

One downside is the photo selection in the Elements section. Even though there are quite a few options, I keep noticing the same people appearing over and over which makes it harder to build a theme without everything starting to look duplicated, if that makes sense.
