“interface and design both great”
Pros
Canva really stands out for how simple it feels right away. The drag-and-drop editor, along with the huge range of templates, makes the whole design process fast and enjoyable even if you don't have advanced graphic design skills.
Cons
One limitation with it is that some of the more advanced customization features are still restricted compared with professional tools such as Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop.

“effortless to use”
Pros
This tool offers a huge range of features and an endless library of content to choose from for all kinds of projects. The image and video editing tools are especially useful and the interface is simple to navigate. It's actually fun to explore because there are so many ways to use it, whether you're creating logos, PowerPoint presentations or social media cover photos, pretty much any type of project you can think of.
Cons
My only real complaint is the price of the premium subscription. At the very least some of the features that get locked once you're not on the premium plan should really be reconsidered.

“Stunning results”
Pros
Putting together impressive presentation slides is hassle-free because there are plenty of templates to choose from and creating or editing videos with the AI tools is just as convenient.
Cons
A few features are locked behind the pro version especially during video editing since tools like the background remover and some other services require a paid upgrade.

“helpful start for social posts”
Pros
Getting started with social media felt much more manageable with it. It let me put together attractive posts quickly and there really wasn't a steep learning curve to deal with.
Cons
There honestly wasn't much to complain about. I did move on to more advanced software later but it worked well for what I needed while I was using it.

“feature-packed”
Pros
Right from the start, the software felt very user-friendly and the video and image editing tools are impressive for something at such a reasonable price. It comes packed with plenty of useful features and whenever I needed assistance, the customer support team was fast to respond and knew exactly how to help.
Cons
nothing really stood out as a downside. If anything, for someone who uses it often, having even more functions and broader integrations would make it better still.

“Great support”
Pros
There's a template for pretty much every kind of document which makes creating things much faster. The built-in AI is also a huge plus because it helps turn prompts into designs while still letting you add your own personal style. It feels like there are almost no limits to what you can make. I've used Canva for both work projects and personal events and it works really well for both. Editing images is simple and it gives you that feeling of being a designer without needing advanced skills. Also, the platform is very simple and even the free version is incredibly good.
Cons
Don't have any complaints about it. Whenever I need a feature or tool, it's usually very easy to find.

“good enough for me”
Pros
One of the biggest wins for our remote team is how fast we can go from an idea to finished assets ready to publish. With real-time collaboration, shared brand kits and one central place for templates, photos and logos, everything stays organized and the team can move much quicker. The templates are actually well designed so adapting them for campaigns takes minutes instead of hours and tools like background remover, Magic Design and instant resize save us a lot of time on ads social posts and client presentations.
Cons
It still doesn't completely replace professional tools for advanced motion graphics or precise pixel-level editing and heavier compositing or detailed typography control are still better handled elsewhere. Bigger multi-page projects can slow down on less powerful laptops and the video editor, while getting better, is still more basic than a dedicated NLE. That said, none of this has caused real issues in our daily work.

“Awesome templates”
Pros
Works really well for editing pictures for all kinds of purposes. It comes with a wide range of attractive templates and the overall designs available on the platform are very good.
Cons
Its paid version feels too expensive for students. I want to use the better templates but I'm not able to access them because of the cost.

“saves my time”
Pros
Getting started with it feels very natural even without any design background. The ready-made templates make a big difference and help create attractive materials in just a few minutes.

A few of the better features are only available in the paid version which limits the options a bit when using the free plan.

“a tool i enjoy”
Pros
Using this platform feels very simple across the board. Editing images and videos is simple and putting together documents, files and presentations is just as manageable. It really feels like there are almost no limits to what I can create with it.
Cons
At times, figuring out which document type I actually need to create can be a little confusing. The wide range of options is definitely a plus but I do wish there were a better preview feature or a lighter way to preview a file.

“fairly priced”
Pros
This tool has become my go-to because it's affordable, beginner-friendly and still capable of producing really polished designs. It's a strong option for anyone who needs high-quality visuals but doesn't have the technical design background to work in programs like Photoshop or Illustrator. It's also very useful for video editing which makes it especially valuable for social media managers and marketing teams that need to create videos regularly for social channels. The template library is excellent and makes it possible to put together professional-looking graphics very quickly. At the same time, professional designers can still build everything from scratch in whatever dimensions they need. I now prefer using Canva when collaborating with designers since they can create branded custom graphics in the platform and clients can later go in and make edits themselves without much trouble. Even the free version includes a lot of features and when premium tools are needed, the subscription is still reasonably priced.
Cons
My biggest frustration with it is its newer AI tools which have been extremely disappointing. They don't feel worth using and I don't really understand why it is pushing them so heavily. The ChatGPT integration that helps surface its features and the built-in generative design tool have both been poor in quality for me and neither one returns accurate results consistently.

“Love using this”
Pros
Working solo, it has made it really simple to put together promotional materials and handle photo editing. The drag-and-drop setup means I don't need advanced design skills or expensive software to get good results and the templates are especially useful when I need quick client pitch decks or branding concepts.
Cons
A downside is that many of the strongest tools and features are locked behind the Pro subscription which can be tough to justify on a tight small-studio budget. Its video editing also feels a bit basic at times compared with software built specifically for that and I'd love to see more advanced capabilities added.

“a complete design hub”
Pros
This software covers just about everything we need. We mainly rely on it for print projects but it also has a really capable image editor and solid video tools for making short clips. We've even designed t-shirts with it and it works well for presentations too. The Canva team seems to pay attention to user feedback because new updates roll out regularly. We've brought 2-3 new people onto our team recently and every one of them has appreciated how simple it is to navigate and locate what they need. One of the biggest advantages for us is the cloud-based sharing, changes show up in real time and groups make it simple to share with exactly the right people.
Cons
One limitation is that there isn't a built-in native print function so we have to run the finished file through another program like Adobe Acrobat before printing. I really enjoy the presentation builder and the animations that come with it but I still haven't found a way to connect it directly to our church presentation software. Because of that, we have to route everything through PowerPoint and we usually end up losing some of the styling in the process.

“give good results”
Pros
Getting it for free as a CIC has been a real bonus. It's a really useful tool for social media, group emails and plenty of other things as well. It helps everything look far more professional and makes your online accounts stand out much more.
Cons
At the beginning it took a little time to get used to and wasn't completely simple right away. Once I got the hang of it though, it stopped being an issue. Aside from that learning curve, I really don't have any major negatives to mention.

“better content with canva”
Pros
Perfect for us!! It has been a solid choice for our graphic design work, helping us get more done while creating higher-quality content. It gives us the tools we need to build and improve our designs more effectively.
Cons
It is a really useful platform but a lot of its strongest features are only available with the Pro plan which can feel restrictive if you're using the free version. It also tends to slow down a little when handling bigger or more detailed projects.

“clean design tools for everyone”
Pros
Creating polished documents with this tool feels accessible to just about anyone. There is a bit of a learning curve at first but it does not take long to understand how everything works and use it the right way. The software itself is excellent, simple, clean and precise.
Cons
Something I really wish it had is an AI assistant to guide users while they work or at least customer support that is consistently available and gets straight to the solution. It would be much better without all the extra back-and-forth or having to confirm account ownership when you are already actively editing and just need quick help. I ran into situations where certain items randomly could not be grouped together and it would have been really helpful to get an immediate explanation from someone. I also think the platform needs a way to warp and adjust text, not anything too advanced, just simple text movement options so people can customize designs more. Also, Canva should do a better job of showcasing the different ways to create things. I often come across tutorials but they can still be hard to apply on your own. Having step-by-step guidance built directly into the project someone is creating would be amazing.

“beginner-friendly”
Pros
Getting started with it feels very natural especially for beginner to intermediate users because the layout is simple and approachable. There are plenty of professional-looking elements to work with and they're updated often. Compared with other leading software options, it's also fairly affordable and the pricing feels reasonable for everything that's included.
Cons
One thing I'd still like to see is better support for creating your own more advanced elements in it. It would also help to have more built-in instructions or step-by-step guides for using certain features and understanding how they work.

Pros
There are plenty of resources, templates, tools and project options available when putting together flyers which gives me a lot to work with. The AI feature is interesting as well and adds something extra to the experience.

“so good!!”
Pros
This is a very good tool for creating advertising posters, logos and other visual content. It comes in both a Pro version and a standard version that is free for a limited period. It really helps graphic designers and layout artists work faster and save time. Another strong point is that it also offers UX/UI design mockups for app and web projects.
Cons
The standard mode in it feels quite limited and when using Canva online, you basically have to pay to get the Pro version and access updates. Compared with other free software options like Photoshop, Illustrator, Corel and similar tools, Canva still comes across as expensive.
