“template editing that delivers”
Pros
This tool has turned into my go-to design app because editing templates is so simple and it removes a lot of the barriers that used to make creating content for social media harder to access.
Cons
One downside is that the selection of free templates on the platform is pretty limited. At the same time, many of the features you end up needing most are locked behind the premium version.

“Has everything!!”
Pros
Having ready-made, editable ideas makes the whole process much more practical and even when creating something more complex, it still feels simple. Everything is very simple and well explained.
Cons
The price of the Pro plan is much higher than expected for people in Brazil. With the country facing economic difficulties, not many people are in a position to afford it.

“Its a great tool”
Pros
There's a wide range of products I can create and use in our homeschool and I can do it with little to no help which makes it really enjoyable.
Cons
The only downside is that it isn't currently free for homeschool teachers and that feels a bit unfair since we're teachers too.

“Great for daily use!!”
Pros
Canva lets me create all kinds of designs without needing any professional design background. As a student, I use it for college event posters, YouTube thumbnails and Instagram stories. The drag-and-drop tools and free templates are really helpful and I also appreciate being able to switch between my phone and laptop whenever I need to work.
Cons
A few really useful tools, like the background remover, premium templates and brand kits, are only available with the paid plan. It can also lag at times when I'm editing larger designs especially if the internet connection is slow.

“outstanding tools”
Pros
Using the program has been excellent and the tools included for the yearly fee really stand out. They keep rolling out updates and adding new features that continue to improve our projects.
Cons
My biggest issue is the added cost of working in Teams and I also wish they offered the program free or at a reduced price for all non-profits.

“Endless creativity!”
Pros
As a teacher, this has become my go-to tool. I can put together awards, study guides and slide presentations that have much more visual impact thanks to the striking graphics and design options. Saved projects are simple to find, duplicate and rework into something completely different. It's also really helpful that I can search for templates based on the elements I need, then just delete the slides or pages I don't want. The templates are flexible, easy to customize and they often spark ideas when I'm not even sure what I want to make yet. This program is far beyond just useful and it's definitely not only for educators. If you create products for Etsy or similar platforms, you can design digital items to sell, make cut files for Cricut or Silhouette and create sticker sets to print and cut. Uploading your own images is simple and you can adjust them however you need. I do that a lot when making geometry tests because those kinds of graphics are otherwise hard to copy into a regular document. I can upload the images, build a slide presentation and then download it as an 8.5 x 11 PDF for printing which is amazing. Whether you need a whiteboard, spreadsheet, card or even more, it's all in one place. I also recently noticed that it now supports website design which is such a cool addition even though I haven't tried it yet. You can even remove the background from photos you upload and get really creative with them. I could keep going about how much this product offers but it's something you really have to try yourself.
Cons
If I had one complaint, it's only that in an ideal world everything would be free even though, to be fair, a lot of it already is. I use an educator account right now and my only real concern is not knowing what I'll do once I retire.

“fantastic templates”
Pros
Having access to so many templates and a user-friendly setup is fantastic because it really supports the creative process instead of forcing you to begin from scratch every time.
Cons
The only issue I've noticed is that the save and download features can be a bit inconsistent at times especially when I'm trying to export files in high resolution.

“practical app”
Pros
This app is really practical for day-to-day use and it comes with a variety of design options that make it possible to create unique models for different companies.
Cons
Although there are several free design options available, the strongest ones are unfortunately locked behind payment. It would be better if more premium templates were included.

FreeTrial
“free trial turned into billing nightmare”
Pros
Believing the "free trial" was a huge mistake. I ended up emailing at least 15 different Canva employees and none of them were actually responsible for helping me. After I disputed the charges, they even changed their merchant ID to get around the payment hold I had placed.
Cons
I signed up for a "free trial," but after I canceled, they still would not stop the charges. This has been dragging on for more than a year. I have contacted at least 15 Canva employees and every time it seemed like no one was responsible for fixing it. I disputed the charges and then they changed their merchant ID to work around the hold I placed on future payments.

“team collaboration made simple”
Pros
One thing I really enjoy about it is how naturally it supports collaboration with other members of my team especially when we're working remotely. It's also very accessible even for people who don't have any previous design experience.
Cons
The only issue I have with it is that when I want to make a more advanced adjustment to an element or text, I have to work around it by doing extra steps separately to get the finish I want since I can't achieve it directly the way I can in other professional software.

“easy to use”
Pros
It is really simple to work with and lets me put together slides and posters quickly. The drag-and-drop editor makes the whole design process very beginner-friendly.
Cons
At times, the free version feels a bit restrictive especially when it comes to fonts and design elements. It can also run a little slow on older devices.

“Love it!!”
Pros
There's a lot to enjoy with the colors, plus all the different backgrounds and themes I can choose from, whether I'm putting together a poster, report or slideshow.
Cons
A downside is that you usually have to wait for the other person to give you permission before you can view something they made in Canva.

“All was good”
Pros
Right from the start, it feels very user-friendly and even my teenage kids can put together really good school projects with it. It's also excellent for marketing and advertising work.
Cons
The subscription cost for accessing more features could be lower for small businesses. Still, overall it's definitely worth paying for.

“plenty of design options”
Pros
There's a lot to love about it especially the huge variety of elements it offers. It has made designing feel much more simple and the fact that it's free makes it even better.
Cons
Something that could be better is the download speed. Sometimes, after finishing a design, the download gets slow and can freeze at certain points.

“works well”
Pros
What this tool really gets right is usability. Pretty much anyone can pick it up, no matter their skill level. I even had my boss, whose only real background was with PowerPoint, give it a try and now they're using it almost every day. That says a lot about how well it walks people through the process and keeps the platform approachable.
Cons
There are still a few capabilities I wish were included especially features that programs like Adobe Creative Suite handle far better. At the same time, I get that adding those kinds of tools would probably make it more complicated and less user-friendly.

“my review...”
Pros
It keeps evolving, with new features and upgrades added over time and it does a good job of communicating those new updates and implementations.
Cons
Editing videos and more complex designs can become extremely slow. After working on them for a while, it often gets to the point where you have to close it and go back in to continue.

Pros

Pros
Canva has been excellent for collaborating on design projects and it makes creating templates and customizing branded materials feel very smooth.
Cons
It is very accessible but that comes with less precision and flexibility for more detailed work. At times, client requests mean I have to export assets from Canva and then bring them back in again.

“Saves time!!”
Pros
Being able to design and build websites has been a huge plus. It helped me put together professional portfolio sites that actually helped me win projects. The process was quick enough that I could make separate portfolio websites tailored to each job I was applying for. Their Docs feature has also been fantastic. I even used it to create a children's book that I later published on Amazon.
Cons
A few of the AI tools still feel like they're in the early stages. The image generation side produced quite a few hallucinations. That said, with continued use, it's clear they're actively improving and updating those features.
