“Perfect for marketing design”

Pros

It has been our go-to tool for marketing materials, logo management and print products. It handles all of that really well and has been the best option for what we need.

Cons

The organization setup has improved over time but every now and then some of our designs still seem to disappear somewhere in the back end.

The tool gives me fast access to custom templates, images, documents, presentations, video tools and AI generation which saves a lot of time and makes the whole process really convenient.

Cons

Even though the features I mentioned are incredibly useful, there have been times when the huge number of available apps felt a bit overwhelming and it can sometimes take a while to find exactly what you need.

Pros

Uploading files is simple and being able to move those files around within the project is really helpful.

Cons

Working with grouped elements is quite frustrating. At times, the lock feature does not work the way it should and lining everything up correctly is also pretty difficult.

Pros

Creating videos feels very simple and the app offers a wide range of options to work with.

Cons

Using it on a phone is not that good because the movement controls feel very limited.

Pros

Lets you do just about anything which is a big reason I keep using it. I mainly use it to create my own journals, planners and personalized to-do lists and it gives me plenty of flexibility for that.

Cons

One downside is that a lot of the better features are locked behind the paid version. If money is tight, you either have to stick with the free tools and make them work or start looking for another app.

I like it. Using it feels really practical and that's the part I enjoy most about the platform.

Cons

A few resources are paid which means I can't always use some of the graphics I want but the free version is still quite good.

Creating and editing images, along with different kinds of files and content, feels very simple with this software. It's simple to use and works really well for a wide range of creative tasks.

Cons

Smartphones and canva are probably not a good combo.. it can be difficult and the experience doesn't feel as practical on a limited screen size.

Pros

Being able to edit logos and create photo collages in a practical way is really helpful.

Cons

Would be even better with improved image quality and a tool that lets you create designs completely from scratch.

Pros

It's a practical, simple tool that lets you create all kinds of charts and illustrations. There's a wide range of templates available to use as examples and customize which helps a lot. Editing and handling the platform is also very simple for users.

Cons

I really haven't come across many downsides. If I had to mention one, it would be the lack of a small grid-style workspace reference that helps you line things up while designing a graphic.

“Impressed with it”

Pros

This is a fantastic tool for quickly creating graphics, editing videos or putting together whiteboards for brainstorming. It's very simple to pick up and the wide range of templates makes getting started much easier.

Cons

Of course, this isn't Adobe so image editing only goes so far. There are also some limitations when it comes to shapes although most things can still be created without much trouble.

Canva's biggest strength is its collection of ready-made templates, graphics and design elements that make it really convenient to create custom designs of your own.

Cons

One thing that bothers me is the lack of an offline option since you can't create designs without internet access or download templates to work on them later offline.

Working with content and proposals is very simple and the platform is simple to use.

The downside is having to pay the monthly subscription fee.

It makes designing really simple, with a strong variety of elements, GIFs, photos and templates that help pull projects together quickly. I end up using it at least once a week, whether it's for work or something personal.

I don't rely on it much for video editing but on the occasions when I need that feature, the tools feel pretty limited.

There's a really strong template library here, with tons of options to choose from. The editing feels professional, the tools are smart and it's simple for anyone to access and use. Having such a huge number of templates makes creating content much more convenient.

Cons

A downside is that some basic tools are locked behind the paid version especially when compared with other editing platforms.

A really beginner-friendly app with a thoughtful design especially if it's your first time using something like this.

Cons

The free version doesn't include every editing tool so some features are still locked.

Pros

You get a really broad mix of creative options to work with, like Instagram posts, Facebook content, presentations, videos and more. Making simple videos has become much better with the preset templates and having direct access to photos, videos, audio and other media is a big plus.

At the same time, it feels like more and more features are being added without actually making the platform more useful and it's definitely becoming more complicated to use. The original appeal was that it offered a quick, simple way to create content for people who don't know specialized software like Adobe or DaVinci Resolve and that seems to be fading. Some of the newer tools especially the AI features, feel like they should be improved before even more functionality is added. It's also still not the right fit for more complicated video projects, such as ones with multiple audio tracks.

This app is fantastic and comes with all the right tools for anyone who needs to create posts for social media.

Cons

Free version is missing a few features, such as the option to resize images.

Pros

Getting started with this application is very simple. Even someone with no background in CorelDRAW or Photoshop can begin using it quickly without much effort or prior knowledge.

Cons

One thing that could make it even better is adding more image adjustment tools, similar to what CorelDRAW offers, along with support for working with layers.

Pros

Its so simple to get around this tool because of its friendly menus and a strong library that makes it pleasant to use.

Cons

There's still room for improvement though. For example, it would be much better to have an ebook organizer since right now it only shows cover pages.

The customizable templates give plenty of room to tailor things the way I want. There are also lots of strong design features built into the editor which makes creating and refining layouts really enjoyable.

Cons

AI tools, however, haven't felt very useful to me and often seem off-target or not especially relevant to what I'm working on.
