awesome

Pros

Using it feels very adaptive and even the free version gives a wide range of design options. The templates look attractive and high quality and the updates are clearly made to offer more ways to work on presentations which is fantastic. It's also very practical to handle on both PC and mobile.

Cons

At times, editing has frozen on my phone when I've been designing for more than an hour and I've had to restart it.

Loved using it

Pros

Creating my own designs in Canva is something I really enjoy and the whole process is quick and simple. I use it for Instagram and Facebook posts, invitations, business cards and plenty of other things too. It's also a big plus that some of the templates they offer are available for free.

Cons

One thing that bothers me is that some templates have to be paid for and it always seems like the better ones are the ones behind the paywall. The mobile app can be a bit fiddly at times as well. It also logs me out every now and then so having to sign back in gets a little frustrating.

my review

Pros

The presentation tools have been the biggest highlight for me. Canva is an amazing platform for both beginners and more experienced content creators and bringing it into my business was incredibly simple.

Cons

An area that still needs improvement is the video editing side of the software. Other than that, it wasn't hard to use at all, even during my first week and it was very quick to learn and understand.

Had a positive experience

Pros

It comes with a huge library of templates, plenty of features and lots of editing options. Since content marketing is really the only marketing that feels effective these days, this software covers everything I need for that.

Cons

There honestly aren't many downsides I can point to here. If anything, it could use a few more training videos for people who are just starting out although it's already very simple to use. Like I mentioned, I really don't have many negatives to say about this software.

ready-made templates save time

Pros

Using it feels very simple and the ready-made templates are a big plus. It really cuts out the need to hire or depend on a designer for everyday work.

Cons

I'd still love to see a wider range of templates for video posts and adding AI features to improve images would make it even better.

complete software for designing

Pros

One thing I really appreciate about this software is how user-friendly it is which makes it simple to work with even for beginners. I also value the fact that it gives users a very complete set of features, including ready-made templates for a wide range of needs, free and paid photos and graphics and the ability to save designs, downloads and projects directly on the dashboard. The paid plans also offer good value for the price and the advanced collaboration tools make it a strong option for professionals. Canva is truly a versatile platform that has helped me grow my creativity and as a result, my business and I still use it regularly for many different purposes.

Cons

Con is that quite a few very useful features are locked behind the premium version, such as image resizing. The photo editing tools are also somewhat limited for anyone looking for more complete editing capabilities. I genuinely enjoy working with this software and because of that, I feel the design templates should be more varied.

canva does it all

Pros

It covers just about everything I need to create for my small business. Being able to upload my own logo, fonts and brand colors is a huge plus and I really enjoy having color palette options to choose from. The extra Pro features are definitely worth it and I was especially thrilled when the social media scheduler was added. Also, the pricing is fantastic.

Cons

One thing I really wish Canva would improve is keyboard shortcut support on iPad and iPhone especially for Mac-style copy and paste commands. For example, I can't use Ctrl + C to duplicate an element and then Ctrl + V to paste it, even when my iPad is connected to a Belkin keypad. It doesn't work through the keypad or through the on-screen keyboard either and the same problem exists on my iPhone. I'd also love a way to save custom colors as favorites when creating a new project color that isn't already in the default or brand palettes. Right now, even clicking on a color box doesn't show the actual color code so keeping track of custom colors means writing the codes down manually which is frustrating and inconvenient. A favorites option for saved colors would be absolutely amazing.

clean layout

Pros

Canva's biggest strength for me is its clean, user-friendly layout. It makes creating graphics in just about any size or format really fast especially with all the built-in templates and fonts that help you put together polished, attractive designs in no time. The platform feels accessible enough that almost anyone could pick it up and start using it right away. Compared with other tools in the same space, that simplicity really sets Canva apart and gives it its own edge.

Cons

There's not much I can criticize. If I had to point to anything, it would be that the customer support wasn't the strongest I've dealt with. I tried using their print service for a design and ran into some sizing issues but the help I received didn't fully solve the problem. To be fair, they did reply quickly, just not with the level of assistance I was hoping for. Still, that feels like a minor issue since the software itself is adaptive and pretty self-explanatory so most people probably won't need to reach out to support very often.

Pros

This tool comes with a broad set of features, plus built-in apps, templates and cloud-based tools that make collaboration really convenient. It's user-friendly and working with online resources feels smooth across the board.

Cons

We didn't run into any problems bringing it into our organization. Our users were able to work comfortably in the cloud environment from any office without issues.

canva powers all my branding

Pros

It has been my go-to for just about everything. I started using it years ago while working at a nonprofit that needed an affordable graphic design option and the free Pro account for nonprofits completely won me over. Since then, I've created all kinds of one-pagers, logos, flyers, web graphics and more in Canva. The brand kit feature makes it incredibly simple to keep every design consistent. At this point, I run nearly everything through Canva, even labels and stickers because it's just so practical to use. It's also the platform that made me enjoy graphic design and helped me realize I actually had a talent for it. I used to think I was bad at design but really Photoshop's learning curve was just far too much for me. Now I use Canva every day for my own business and I recently started using the Pinterest posting feature as well. Being able to post directly and download files in different formats saves me a huge amount of time.

Cons

The only real issue I can think of happens when I create several graphics inside one document and then schedule a post using one of them. Once that's scheduled, I can't go back into that document until the post has gone out. I understand why it works that way but it does force me to organize my content differently to work around it.

works well for us

Pros

Good one!! This software has become an essential part of how my creative team works. We use it for social media, flyers, presentations, investor decks, sales pitches, pretty much every type of visual content runs through it. The platform is so adaptive that no onboarding is really needed. We get compliments on our designs all the time and a lot of them are simply templates customized to match our brand. There are also tons of options available which makes it especially helpful whenever inspiration is running low.

Cons

Honestly I have no complaints. I absolutely love it and recommend it every chance I get.

fairly priced

Pros

Canva has been a really solid tool for creating visuals especially because it doesn't require any design background to get good results. The interface feels adaptive and once you're in it, moving around the platform is pretty simple. There's also a huge selection of templates and design elements which makes it simple to put together attractive, professional-looking content. Another big plus is the price. You can do quite a lot with the free version and the premium features are available for a relatively small cost. All in all, I'd definitely recommend Canva to anyone who wants a practical way to make polished visuals without a steep learning curve.

Cons

There are times when the software gets a bit glitchy and occasionally the navigation can feel difficult.

so simple to use

Pros

Putting together and customizing projects is simple for all kinds of needs, whether they're personal, business-related or anything else.

its great

Pros

Between the huge selection of templates, images, fonts and other design elements, this has been worth every penny. The platform is also incredibly simple to work with. I get compliments all the time on the things I create and I'm definitely not a graphic designer. That really says a lot about how user-friendly this program is.

Cons

Don't really have any complaints. Any limits I've run into have been more about not having enough time to look up how to do something, not because it is missing the feature.

fun to use

Pros

This is one of those apps I genuinely enjoy using because it lets me put designs together quickly. It also does a really good job of supporting collaboration and positive interaction when working through design problems. Creating any type of logo is actually fun since I can just choose a design, then adjust the text color, vectors and fonts to match what I want. The large image library is another big plus because I can pick what I need right away without having to leave the page.

Cons

The interface could be a bit more responsive though because when I'm loading certain templates, the whole thing freezes for a moment.

recommended from my side

Pros

Having everything in one place makes this one of the best graphic design tools around. It's especially useful for business owners, graphic designers and anyone who wants to quickly add a polished look to resumes, logos and other design projects. There's also a huge variety of options available in the software.

Cons

Canva Pro and Canva for Teams feel a little too expensive for small to medium-sized entrepreneurs.

all-in-one

Pros

Back then, editing photos or images usually meant using much more professional platforms, you probably know the kind of software I mean. The issue was that you had to be highly skilled or at least spend hours watching tutorials, just to create a single image and on top of that you often had to pay a pretty significant amount to unlock all the features. Now things are much more accessible because Canva exists. Want to remove the background from an image? Canva lets you do that without much trouble. Need to make a poster for work or school? It gives you the tools to make it happen. You might think, "So I still have to keep paying to access all of this," but the truth is that while some tools do require a small monthly subscription, most of the features are available to everyone so it really is not a barrier. Also, you can create presentations, infographics, essays, profile pictures and plenty of other things all in one place.

Cons

It's actually hard for me to point out something I dislike about it because I genuinely enjoy everything it offers and if I had to give an honest answer, I'd still say there's really nothing wrong with it.

boost work productivity

Pros

Running my own business while also doing videography on the side means I need tools I can rely on every day and this has honestly been a game changer. The part I appreciate most is how quickly it clicks. Photoshop felt really intimidating with all the settings and starting from zero was discouraging but Canva teaches the basics in a much more approachable way. It gives you templates, graphic elements and a solid starting point so you can build from there. They also share blog content on graphic design basics that you can read right on the site or in the app which is genuinely helpful. One of the biggest reasons I stay on the Pro plan is the ability to export in different resolutions. I can create one branded poster and then repurpose it into a flyer, Instagram post, video and more. That saves a huge amount of time and helps put my brand in more places. Also, the Pro version is incredibly affordable. The free version already offers a lot but Pro makes everything much more efficient and the boost in productivity is absolutely noticeable.

Cons

If I had to point to one downside, it would be the way people sometimes dismiss it as not being a real skill. That mindset feels very narrow to me because especially for beginners, it can accomplish just as much as Photoshop and in some cases even more. Even so, the software still gets a lot of unnecessary criticism. I genuinely love using it and would absolutely recommend it.
