“so great”

Pros

After spending a long time looking for software that wouldn't slow down my laptop and would also work well on Android, I came across it through YouTube recommendations. I gave it a try and was genuinely amazed. On my laptop I can use it through the web and on Android I have the app and the best part is that it barely takes up space or resources on either device. When it comes to usability, it's very simple for any kind of user, even complete beginners. As for value, I can honestly say it's one of the best because it's affordable and also offers referral compatibility which can give you free premium benefits. It supports multiple formats like GIF, MP4, high-resolution PNG, JPG and more. It really has everything. I absolutely recommend this amazing tool.

Cons

It's a very interesting design tool and honestly I can barely find anything negative to say about it. The only area where I think it could improve is support for designing in larger sizes and formats because with that it would feel perfect. Aside from that, I still think it's a wonderful tool and very user-friendly.

Using it feels really simple. There are plenty of templates available, plus a lot of free graphics you can use in both the free and paid versions. Once you subscribe, being able to save your brand colors and fonts is especially useful if you're using it for your business.

I honestly can't think of anything I disliked. I really enjoy using it to create creatives.

Pros

Canva covers almost everything I need feature-wise. I enjoy using it for graphic design especially when creating simple e-card designs and other promotional materials. The video and photo editing tools have been really valuable too. In fact, they helped me publish videos for my YouTube channel for the first time when I started last year. It has also been a big help with integrating visuals into my website through this tool. Also, I appreciate that it offers a free version. It gives me room to use my creativity and imagination when deciding what kind of content to make and how to create it. This platform also helped me discover and explore many ideas for presentations and content creation, even as a beginner.

Cons

The downside is the limitation that comes with the free version since I cannot freely access many of the more attractive designs. I feel restricted when it comes to photos, templates and other graphic elements which makes it harder to fully develop my own ideas for content creation.

Creating decent visuals takes only minutes with it, even for someone like me who doesn't have a design background. The tools are really good, the process feels simple and the adaptive interface makes everything much more manageable. I also really appreciate how widely usable it is and how much room there is for customization.

It already includes a solid range of AI-powered features which I do appreciate but I'd still love to see them expand and improve that area even more.

honestly I do not have many complaints because I find the platform extremely useful. The only minor issue I have noticed is that sometimes when I upload images, the resolution seems lower and the final result looks a little blurry.

Pros

Despite having the full Adobe Suite, I still reach for it more often because it's just so much quicker and more approachable to use. It comes packed with templates, vectors, photos, video clips and plenty of other assets. One thing I really enjoy is being able to build my own templates and swap elements around without any hassle. Of course, there are some things it can't do and that's when I switch over to Photoshop, Lightroom or Illustrator. Still, it is capable of far more than most people assume. You can remove backgrounds, apply drop shadows, outline cut-out images, create neon-style text, animate graphics and a lot more. The list honestly keeps going. That's exactly why it has become my default design tool.

Cons

Definitely has some limitations when you put it next to the Adobe Suite but I don't expect it to replace Adobe because they serve different purposes and I value each one for what it does well. One of the trade-offs is that text effects aren't nearly as customizable as Photoshop's style tools. More broadly, the overall level of customization just doesn't come close to what Adobe offers. My one more noticeable complaint is the photo filter and editing side which feels pretty limited. Compared with older tools like Flickr's Picnik or the old Photoscape software, its photo editing options are fairly minimal. I'd really like to see more retouching features added, such as blemish removal, facial touch-up tools or a softening option. Another frustrating issue is that some audio tracks included with the Pro membership still get flagged on YouTube as if they aren't royalty-free which can prevent monetization on a video. I'm not really sure why that happens but it's definitely annoying.

One thing I appreciate most is the free-user option because whenever my monthly subscription runs out, I can still keep using the software much like I do when I'm on the premium plan.

Cons

At this point, I really don't have any complaints because I haven't come across any. It feels complete to me,if you need free tools, it delivers. If you want a professional graphic design platform, it easily ranks among the top choices. It even offers high-ticket affiliate opportunities, along with plenty of other useful benefits.

Pros

Having such an excellent tool on my phone to create business cards, logos, presentations and much more in just a few minutes is amazing. It makes it possible for anyone to put together impressive designs without much effort and the final result often looks like it was made by an experienced design professional. It's fantastic.

Cons

Even though the free version has limited customization options, it still works very well and handles what I need whenever I have a project to create. Some templates can be edited but not saved or shared if you're using the free plan which is frustrating. I understand that the platform needs to keep the app updated but it would be nice if they also considered creators a bit more and lowered the subscription price.

Even without any design background, this software is simple to work with. There are plenty of free templates, designs and images available which gives you lots of options to choose from. The drag-and-drop setup makes it especially beginner-friendly and comfortable to use.

Cons

One downside is that once a design has been downloaded, it can't be edited directly. You have to return to the software anytime you want to make changes.

Pros

It was actually my starting point for learning graphic design back in college through my social media and design classes. It's an excellent choice for beginners who want to create polished, eye-catching content for social media, brochures, flyers and more. The platform includes a wide variety of tools that I use every day. Being able to upload my own photos, save favorite color palettes, duplicate existing designs to update or build on them, resize projects and do more all in one place is incredibly helpful. There are also hundreds of templates available which makes it fun to explore ideas and stay inspired. It's a really valuable tool for anyone working in social media or running a business.

Cons

Something that bothered me was that after resizing a design, you still have to go back and adjust things quite a bit to make everything fit properly in the new format. That said, it's still much better than rebuilding the whole design from the beginning. I also wasn't thrilled that resizing is locked behind the premium plan and costs extra. Even so since I work in social media and marketing, paying for that feature has still been worth it.

Creating original social posts, presentations and graphics with it has been incredibly simple. Whatever I'm working on ends up looking polished, almost like a professional designed it from start to finish. There are plenty of design choices and helpful guidance along the way and being able to order directly through Canva is a nice bonus since the print quality is solid too.

Cons

Watch out for keeping your work organized in folders. Once you've made a large number of designs, it can become difficult to track down exactly what you need if everything is left unorganized.

This tool gives us a huge range of options and while some people might say there are too many, we've gotten good at focusing our ideas when working on specific projects. It really feels like the modern-day version of PowerPoint because the project types, tools and overall value are well organized and the interface is user-friendly.

Cons

Even with all the content it includes, there are still some elements that can't be customized enough which means you sometimes have to rely on other tools.

Having everything in one place really speeds up my design work. I can keep up to 100 designs in a single file and it gives me access to images, videos, fonts, GIFs, SVGs and more without needing to spend hours searching Google for assets. Uploading and downloading is quick, there are plenty of beautiful free fonts available and adding animations is simple too.

Cons

It does occasionally crash or freeze without warning.

It has all the essentials a social media professional needs to grow in their career. There are templates in every size for every platform, theme examples for any occasion, plus a huge range of effects and graphics. To me, this is the best design software out there.

Cons

Honestly none at all. It is part of the reason I'm earning today. It has given me confidence in my work and even helped me build more self-respect in my personal life.

It has been a very affordable and user-friendly option for our team especially since most of our marketing staff do not have much graphic design experience. We use it constantly for brochures, flyers, ads and social media graphics for our properties and it has made content creation for different platforms much more manageable. The platform comes with thousands of high-quality templates for nearly any occasion and they are simple to customize. It is also helpful that we can upload our own images and include them in our designs. Since it supports multiple file formats, the whole team can work with it without much trouble. Another big advantage is that designs are stored for future use and we can download them onto different devices and use them elsewhere, such as WhatsApp status updates or property catalogs. The tutorials and design courses available are also very useful because they make the platform easier to learn while helping us pick up new skills. The mobile app is another major benefit. Being able to create designs while away from the office is incredibly convenient especially when the team wants to quickly post a poster or social media update for a property right away.

Cons

Customer support is an area that could be improved. Getting in touch with the support team is not always as convenient as it should be and the response time to concerns needs more attention.

This tool has been an excellent design platform for me. Even without advanced design skills, it gives beginners plenty of support to create good-looking work. There are lots of ready-made templates and with a bit of personal creativity, it's simple to turn them into something unique. Since I work with clients as a social media manager, I constantly need images for their social channels and honestly the job would be much harder without it. It lets me create visuals in the exact sizes needed for Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. The dashboard is also very user-friendly which makes the whole process much more convenient. Another big plus is the mobile app which is really useful. Also, I can store my designs in the cloud and download them in whatever format I need.

Cons

There's still some room for improvement especially in the resource section. The photo library, elements and similar assets could definitely be expanded and upgraded. Aside from that, it is still a very solid tool for designers.

Pros

Before switching to Canva Pro, I regularly relied on Photoshop together with Envato Elements templates. The results were definitely high quality but the whole process took far too much time. I never expected it to replace Photoshop yet once I started needing a large volume of posters and graphic ads for ongoing social media posts, Photoshop just wasn't the most practical choice. It really fixed that problem for me. I can create professional-looking graphics, posters, banners, flyers, brochures, invitations, business cards, logos, infographics and pretty much anything else because it covers it all. Also, it offers thousands of high-quality templates and I also have the option to start from scratch and mix different assets together using its very accessible library of millions of premium stock photos, videos, PNG elements, clipart and a wide range of fonts. Another big advantage is how simple the workspace is to navigate and use. There's barely any lag or glitching when adjusting image effects, tweaking settings, resizing, repositioning or copying design elements from one template into another. The built-in background remover is also probably the best online one I know of.

Cons

The monthly and yearly pricing for Canva Pro is expensive to keep paying for over time. Compared with Photoshop, I find the template layers much more inconvenient to manage especially when editing or selecting individual layers inside a design. Once layers overlap, there are very limited options for easily choosing and modifying them one by one. Another frustrating thing is that when I drag a new image into a design, it tends to snap it into place and replace the current image automatically and it takes effort to stop that from happening. A better folder organization system for custom uploads especially with tagging, would make workflow much more efficient and organized. Video and animation editing also feels very underdeveloped and even simpler design tools like Placeit or InVideo offer much better and more varied video creation options. It still lacks a proper timeline editor or keyframe animation window like the one available in PixTeller.

Pros

Whenever I need to put something together fast and don't want to open heavier tools like CorelDraw or Adobe apps, this is the one I use. It's extremely user-friendly and comes with a huge library of templates that are useful as-is or just as inspiration for creating your own designs. One of the best parts is that the recommended dimensions for social media and print formats are already built in so there's no need to look them up. Switching between different sizes is fast and making adjustments is very simple. I also appreciate being able to work with video and add decent animations to images. It covers pretty much all the tools needed for simple to moderately complex projects, not just social media content. Also, the mobile app comes in really handy for small edits when I'm away from my computer.

honestly I can't think of anything to criticize. It does everything I need for fast content creation and it's rare to come across a tool that actually delivers on all the things you expect it to do.
