My English grammar knowledge is basic but this tool has been a big help in improving my writing. It catches mistakes quickly and with good accuracy. Since I work as a software developer and regularly need to send emails to customers, this tool is really useful for making my messages clearer and easier to understand .

Cons

Lately, a lot of people seem to be avoiding Grammarly because of security concerns. I recently came across an article claiming that it can steal information from your session whichhonestly feels a little alarming.

“easy to use”

Pros

There's a lot to appreciate here. Grammarly keeps adding useful features and now it even helps with tone and the overall feel of your writing. That makes a real difference when moving between different styles, like academic papers and business communication. It even recognizes the Oxford comma whichI absolutely appreciate. As a bonus, I'm able to use it on nearly every website and form I work with, including this Capterra review.

Cons

I honestly don't have much to complain about. We did run into a small issue during renewal when our credit card had expired but their team was very helpful and made sure our service continued without much trouble.

Pros

Honestly this software has been amazing especially for the price. I love how it catches mistakes in everything from emails to essays that I would have completely missed on my own. It has genuinely helped me improve my essay grades and Grammarly has become something I rely on all the time. If you're a student, whether in high school or college, it's absolutely worth having. I'd also suggest it to anyone who sends emails every day because it has stopped me from sending messages with errors and helped me come across as much more professional. I highly recommend it.

Cons

One thing Grammarly could do better is work across every type of software you might be using since it doesn't always integrate everywhere. That said, there's still a simple workaround: you can copy and paste your email or writing into the Grammarly website, let it review everything there and then paste it back into whatever program you're using. Even with that limitation, I still strongly recommend it to just about everyone because it has saved me from making so many mistakes.

Using Grammarly has made a big difference in how I write in English. I send and receive a lot of messages in that language and since I also work with translation whichI've been doing since 2012, it has been especially useful in my daily routine. It's very simple to use and after more than two years with it, I can clearly see how much my English writing has improved. The only issue is that it also pops up when I'm typing in my native language, Brazilian Portuguese and in those moments it obviously gets a bit confused and doesn't really know how to help. Because of that, I usually have to disable it even when I'm just opening Facebook.

Cons

Can't really say it lacks anything because it works perfectly well for what I need. There's a free version and a more complete paid one but I only use the free option since I don't have that many difficulties and don't feel any need to pay for extra features. A few minor mistakes when writing in a language that isn't your native one are usually understand able anyway.

“Good typo protection”

Pros

Getting started with it was incredibly simple and the interface is very user-friendly while still offering plenty of options. The biggest advantage is that it helps prevent sending an email or text to an important stakeholder with a typo. I've been using this software for a long time and haven't had a single issue with it. Most of the time I forget it's even running until I make a mistake and it suggests the correction right away.

Cons

The premium plan doesn't really include many exclusive features compared with the free version soI'd actually recommend sticking with the free version since it's already very capable on its own.

Right from the start, Grammarly Business has been a perfect addition to Microsoft Word and Google Chrome. It helps me write more clearly by pointing out which parts of my text need improvement, suggesting better synonyms, flagging passive voice, catching repeated words and showing when punctuation should be added. It is especially useful for anyone who writes constantly and it saves me a lot of time when reviewing documents because when we write quickly, we often miss writing and punctuation mistakes without realizing it.

Cons

My only real complaint about Grammarly is that it supports just one language. It would be much better if it were available in more languages instead of only English.

Even with an English degree and a background in grammar, I still rely on Grammarly. It's fantastic at catching writing mistakes I might not notice on my own. Honestly it's a smart purchase if you want your writing to come across as sharper, clearer and more professional.

Cons

Really don't have any complaints. The interface is very adaptive and it can seriously elevate your writing and make you sound more polished to friends and coworkers. Simple errors like mixing up "your" and "there" can make a bad impression and this tool helps prevent that completely.

Whenever I'm drafting documents, emails or proposals, Grammarly turns out to be a really useful tool for automatically catching grammar mistakes. It helps make my writing sound much more professional overall. The sentence suggestion feature is especially helpful because it offers better, more polished alternatives while I'm writing. It also gives a sense of how strong the document is whichis a nice bonus. Since it fixes mistakes automatically, there's much less need to rely on a proofreader. It saves a lot of time and the Premium package adds even more valuable features.

Cons

One thing I'd still want is offline support for Word documents. It would be much better to have these useful features available while writing in MS Word even without an internet connection.

Pros

Right away, the software checks your writing as you work and points out nearly all of your mistakes immediately. It feels like having an editor built into your computer since it shows what needs fixing and lets you correct everything on your own. That kind of real-time feedback makes it a must-have for any business.

Cons

The only part I liked less and it is not a major issue, is the installation process. At times you download it and expect it to work everywhere but it does not always show up in your browsers automatically. You have to make sure it is properly installed in your browsers, your text editor and your apps before everything works the way it should.

Something that really helps is how Grammarly catches mistakes like repeated or misused words and punctuation issues that a normal browser or word processor spellcheck often skips. The more advanced style suggestions are also useful when I want to polish my writing and make it read better.

Cons

Using Grammarly in full-screen through the Chrome extension, I occasionally ran into problems with the text or suggestions not appearing in the right spot. It would lose its place often enough to be annoying though not consistently enough to say it always happens. If you're planning to use Grammarly with WordPress, you'll need to swap out Gutenberg but that isn't really Grammarly's fault.

Having Grammarly Business in place feels like a complete writing solution for our team. It checks all the basics in our reports, emails, presentations and other documents, including grammar, spelling and punctuation but it also helps make sure everything we write is clear and simple to understand . First impressions really do matter and that is especially true with written communication. Because of Grammarly Business, I feel confident that anything my staff or I create comes across polished and professional. When we send materials to current clients or potential new ones, I know they are clean and well written whichgives me real confidence that we are presenting ourselves in the best possible way.

It feels like the best app out there for checking spelling and grammar in English. It catches grammar errors that other tools usually miss.

The downside is that it only works in English. It would be much more useful if support were added for Spanish and French.

This tool is available as both a stand alone app and browser extensions and thats really useful. There's also a desktop version you can use with offline tools like MS Word. When writing emails, it suggests edits for certain words and helps you choose wording that fits better. It works the same way in MS Word through the add-in soafter finishing a document, you can click the Grammarly icon and review the suggested changes it recommends for your writing.

Cons

Only downside I'd mention is that there's a paid version and the deeper word corrections and more advanced phrasing suggestions are locked behind it.

Honestly Grammarly Business has been a really helpful tool for my writing. It checks grammar and spelling in whatever documents I work on whichis especially useful for me as a higher education student since I have to write research articles, university reports and other academic work quite often. I installed it as a Google Chrome extension and it automatically suggests corrections while I write. I'm currently using the free version and for my study needs, it has been more than enough. If someone is running a business or company and needs more accurate grammar and spelling checks, the premium plan is also worth considering although you do have to choose a paid plan. Overall, I think this software is excellent for anyone who wants more reliable writing support and I can easily see it becoming one of the most widely used tools in the next couple of years.

Cons

There are only a few downsides in my opinion. The biggest issue is that many people still do not know about this software sothe company really needs stronger promotion and marketing. It seems like they have already started improving that whichis good because more people will be able to benefit from it. Other than the lack of awareness, I really do not see any major problems with it.

From quick emails to a full alumnae newsletter, Grammarly takes all the uncertainty out of grammar and proofreading. It catches little things instantly and fixes them as you write, while I was typing this review, it even corrected a couple of mistakes, like changing guesswork from two words and suggesting the hyphen in double-check. It hand les the work for you and feels incredibly simple to use.

Cons

I have no complaints at all. Everything about this software has been excellent and I'd recommend it to anyone for either professional or personal writing.

When a big part of your day is spent writing emails, reports, articles, social posts and similar content, something like Grammarly becomes pretty much essential. Even if your spelling and grammar are usually solid, mistakes still slip through especially when you're rushing and there's no time to have someone else review your work before it goes out. Grammarly runs quietly in the background, catching typos and offering grammar suggestions whether you're creating web copy, working in your email client, posting on Facebook or even writing a review. Once the browser extension is installed, it covers nearly all of your online writing and it also works with desktop office apps.

Cons

It does a very good job catching typos and spelling errors and most of the grammar recommendations are helpful but there are still times when its suggestions don't really fit. That comes up most often with technical writing, where the more formal 12th-grade style it seems to prefer isn't always appropriate or necessary.

No matter what I'm working on, filling out online applications, drafting an important email or switching between different tools, it fits right into everything without any hassle. It works smoothly with the apps, programs and browsers I already use whichmakes it feel like a natural part of my setup.

Cons

There really hasn't been anything serious enough to make me want to stop using the software. It has crashed a hand ful of times over the past two years but not in a way that changed my overall opinion of it.

After using Grammarly for quite a while, it has really given me more confidence in my writing. Since we manage both chat and email for our clients as well as for our clients' customers, it helps a lot in day-to-day communication. It goes beyond simple spell-checking too becauseit also catches subject-verb agreement mistakes and other grammar issues. Compared with the autocorrect tools I used before, it doesn't disrupt my writing flow or style. I also appreciate the word suggestions it provides since they help improve my vocabulary while still matching the context of what I'm trying to say. That has been especially useful when I'm preparing monthly reports for my boss and for clients. Even though I've used English my whole life in both speaking and writing, Grammarly has still made me feel much more confident when communicating with other people.

Cons

Up to this point, I really haven't run into any major problems. The only small inconvenience is having to register again from time to time but that's pretty minor. Grammarly also includes a plagiarism checker and that part is still unclear to me. I'm not doing any serious writing soI haven't had much reason to rely on it yet but I do hope it's accurate. It would be helpful to know exactly how it works, whether it only flags exact wording or if it mainly detects content that was directly copied and pasted. I still need to explore that feature more and see how useful it actually is.

The biggest downside is the price for individual users since it can feel pretty expensive. That said, Grammarly Business solves that issue well for organizations by giving everyone access to the premium features at a cost that's surprisingly reasonable.

“Works really good”

Since I started using Grammarly for client copy, it has saved me from plenty of avoidable mistakes. It's useful when you paste sentences into the platform to catch bigger issues but the best part is having it built into my email and browser workflow so I can double-check things as I write. The interface is very simple to use and I really appreciate being able to hover over a red underline and apply the suggested fix right away.

Cons

This isn't exactly a flaw with the platform but Grammarly still can't understand context soit's not something you can rely on blindly. If you're referring to a very specific term, like silicon versus silicone, it won't always know which one you actually mean. Also, my writing style tends to be a little more relaxed and Grammarly often flags that sopart of using it is learning how to meet in the middle.
