Honestly there's really not much to dislike about this software. It helps with just about everything related to typing on any device. It also points out when something needs to be reworded or rearranged so readers can better understand what you're trying to say. To me, it feels like a tool you really can't go wrong with.

Cons

I genuinely don't have any negative points to say about this software. It helps in just about every way you can think of when you need writing support and I'm really grateful that someone came up with it.

Pros

Whether I'm drafting a review, writing an email or checking copy for design work, Grammarly has been useful in almost any situation where I need to type. I'm even relying on it right now to double-check what I'm writing. My previous team also really appreciated having a tool they could use regularly to proofread emails, design content and other day-to-day communication.

Cons

That said, there are still a few apps I use all the time where Grammarly doesn't fully integrate, including Google Docs. On those platforms some of the suggestions and recommendations can miss the mark and aren't always that helpful.

It stays active on my laptop all the time and I appreciate that it goes well beyond basic spell-checking. A lot of the time, I'll copy text from Word that already looks flawless, paste it into an email and Grammarly still catches extra mistakes or suggests a few more improvements.

At times, it misses the context behind a word or expression. Even when the phrasing is actually correct, it can still flag it as if something is wrong.

Whether I'm putting together a casual article, a professional document or even emails, Grammarly has been really useful. It comes with plenty of tools that help make writing clearer, more consistent and grammatically accurate and it automatically points out mistakes as you write. At work, we regularly use it to review the spelling and wording in our reports, project documents and letters.

Even though it works with Microsoft Word and Chrome, I'd still like to see it support many more types of software.

Coming from a non-English-speaking country, I rely on Grammarly a lot because English isn't my first language and I run an international business. Communicating with clients in polished, formal English is important if I want to appear professional and this has become my go-to tool for that. It catches almost everything I write, from spelling errors to grammar issues and more. It also works across nearly everything I type whichmakes it even more useful. Even while writing this review, I'm using Grammarly to help me.

The free version already feels very complete but the biggest downside is that the paid plan is quite expensive.

Grammarly has been especially valuable for catching the small, careless errors that can end up causing real problems in professional writing. It's also quick to pick up, simple to work with and very effective when it comes to improving writing that needs to make an impact.

Cons

One limitation with Grammarly is that, at the end of the day, it's still AI and not a human editor. Because of that, you can't rely on it blindly to make every decision for you. It does get things wrong at times and if you accept every suggestion it flags, your writing can start to sound awkward or unnatural. You still need to use your own judgment while working with Grammarly.

As a regular user of this software, I depend on it quite a bit. I installed the Grammarly browser extension on my computer and it has been a big help with correcting my grammar. Since I work as a product manager, a big part of my job is writing user stories that are clear, simple and easy to follow and Grammarly really helps with that. Even while typing this review, the plugin is actively catching mistakes and pointing out anything that needs to be fixed.

Cons

The one part that bothers me is having to sign in every single time I want to use it with my Microsoft desktop applications. It could be something I am not setting up correctly or it may just be an area where the software still needs an update.

It does more than just catch grammar mistakes too, it also checks whether the writing is clear enough and engaging for the reader. One thing I especially appreciate is how it suggests better word choices to make the text stronger and more interesting, along with genuinely helpful hints. To me, it's not just a proofreading tool but also something you can learn from becauseover time it helps you avoid common wording mistakes. Since I started using it, my writing has had fewer grammar and punctuation errors. I also value the security side of it becausethe data sent to Grammarly is protected whichgives me confidence that my content stays private.

Every now and then, the Safari integration with Google Docs stops working although restarting the browser usually fixes it without much trouble.

One thing I really appreciate about this tool is that it checks my writing right where I'm typing sothere's no need to copy and paste text somewhere else like with some other grammar tools. It's also much less irritating than things like Word's spell checker because it doesn't keep flagging text that is actually written correctly and overall it does a really solid job. Another plus is that it keeps getting updated and new features are added, like the emoji-based tone detection option whichis a nice touch.

I ran into a strange interaction with Zendesk. In certain situations something written as an email would appear as an internal comment instead because it changed the message background color and that sometimes resulted in case notes being sent to customers by mistake.

As a content creator, it has become part of my everyday workflow and I genuinely feel stuck without it. The Chrome extension is especially useful because it works across so many platforms and editors. Whether I'm emailing clients or writing website content, Grammarly is there as a reliable backup. It supports browsers like Chrome and Mozilla, along with Google Docs and other editors whichmakes it incredibly practical. Honestly it has made my work life much better because English has so many tricky rules and this tool helps manage them really well. Also, being able to send work to Grammarly proofreaders for an extra layer of review is a big plus.

There really aren't many downsides to Grammarly but I have noticed a few minor issues. Sometimes it suggests alternatives for prepositions or certain words that just don't fit the context. It also tends to flag repeated keywords and keeps recommending replacements even when the repetition is intentional. Another limitation is that it doesn't work with Microsoft Office Word. and while the full feature set is locked behind the premium plan whichisn't exactly cheap, I still think it can be worth paying for.

Working as a copywriter means mistakes really aren't an option even though typos and grammar slip-ups can happen to anyone. Grammarly Business has been a huge help in cutting down on those errors no matter where I'm writing online. In the past, I had to copy and paste everything into something like Microsoft Word just to run spellcheck and catch issues. Now, all I need is a Grammarly Business account and it flags mistakes and possible problems wherever I'm typing.

Honestly there's nothing that comes to mind that I dislike about Grammarly. It's simple to use and it does exactly what it's supposed to do. I'm actually using it while writing this review.

Right from setup, this software has been simple to install, simple to use and it works across multiple platforms without any hassle. I use it for emails social media posts, contracts and general writing and it even helps me make sure what I'm writing now is correct. Since it works pretty much everywhere, it's been incredibly useful for keeping my writing clear and catching mistakes that could turn into big problems when dealing with clients.

Every now and then, it misses the context of what I'm trying to say and suggests changes that don't really fit or help. Even with that, the software is still far more useful than not overall.

Honestly I do not have any real complaints about the software. The only thing worth mentioning is that the premium version costs money. The free version is still very useful on its own but paying for premium does unlock additional features.

Typing fast usually means a few typos or grammar mistakes slip through, no matter how confident you are with writing. That's exactly why Grammarly has become one of the most useful tools I've used. I'm generally pretty strong with grammar but when I'm moving quickly, words start to blur together and little errors get missed. This catches most of that before it becomes a problem. It's not flawless since there are times when it doesn't fully understand the context of what I'm trying to say. Even so, the biggest writing issues I notice from coworkers are usually not serious grammar problems but simple careless typos and Grammarly hand les those better than any other software I've tried. Another nice bonus is that it integrates with Word whichmakes it even more practical. It really feels like having an English teacher there helping you write more clearly and effectively.

Something that really needs improvement is Mac integration. Mac users unfortunately miss out on features that Windows users already have. Also, while Grammarly is very good, it still isn't perfect. Sometimes it suggests changes that don't actually match what you intended to write soit's important to review each correction instead of automatically accepting everything. A sentence can look wrong to the software while still being exactly what you meant.
