“Good tool!”

Pros

Whether it's office emails, long letters or essays, Grammarly is really helpful when writing for work. It's also a solid option for writers who want a simple way to catch grammar mistakes without much effort. The tool feels efficient and simple to use and the free Chrome extension is convenient to add and works very well. It has helped me a lot in roles where I need to send emails frequently especially because small mistakes can leave a bad impression. With Grammarly, I can just write normally and let it take care of the errors on its own.

Cons

The biggest downside is the cost especially if you only need it for light or occasional use becauseit doesn't always feel worth the price. It also needs an internet connection to work.

“Clean results”

Pros

Instead of setting aside separate time to work on my language skills, it helps me improve as I write. I also really enjoy the weekly newsletter they send. It keeps me motivated to write better and continue improving my grammar.

Cons

Google Docs support still isn't working properly yet even though they say it's in beta. I'm hoping all of Grammarly's features are available in Google Docs soon.

“Spot on suggestions”

Pros

Being a non-native English writer, I rely on it a lot in my daily work and written communication. It even catches typos while I am typing comments like this one. Beyond basic spelling, it also detects broader grammar issues. My business emails come across as more professional because of it and over time it has helped me build better writing habits. The browser extension is especially useful and saves me time when I am filling out forms, writing emails and working online.

Cons

Overall, it performs really well. That said, there are times when it recommends changes even though the original sentence is already correct. Getting a more detailed review requires the premium plan and that version is quite expensive. Also, it does not function properly on certain websites and can sometimes create bugs in forms and text boxes.

“Nice tools”

Pros

Writing in English has always been a challenge for me as an Italian speaker and Grammarly genuinely made a big difference. It helped me correct plenty of mistakes, typos and grammar issues that I would have missed on my own. I've been using it for years and still rely on it regularly. One thing I really appreciate is how well it works across pretty much everything I write on any platform even this one right now.

Cons

An annoyance is that it constantly flags passive sentences and that just doesn't matter much to me. Honestly around 70% of the so-called "errors" it points out are only about using passive voice. That feels unnecessary because passive phrasing is completely normal in many cases. It can also be a bit slow at times especially when the CPU is already under heavy load.

“I liked it”

Pros

Running a news website means editing never stops and there's never enough time to catch everything. I was actually on the verge of bringing in another editor with a $38,000 salary before one of my staff suggested Grammarly might help our current editors work faster and catch the small errors more efficiently. They were absolutely right. Since we started using it, our editors have had more time for other responsibilities and can focus more deeply on fact-checking instead of spending so much time on grammar and spelling issues in our copy. In the end, the amount I spent on Grammarly saved me more than $37,000. Thank you, Grammarly Business.

Cons

Recently, there have been a few occasions where the Grammarly extension hasn't worked quite right in Mozilla. I've already reached out to Grammarly about it but thankfully it's not something that happens often.

“time-saving writing companion”

Pros

Back in college, this app became one of my go-to tools and it has continued to save me a lot of time and effort whenever I need to write a paper or put together an email. Even now, I still rely on it every time I send an email.

Cons

The machine learning behind it works well and generally does what it's supposed to do. That said, the 'word choice' feature could be even better if it had more user data to learn from and offer stronger suggestions.

“ever-improving”

Pros

One thing I really appreciate is that Grammarly keeps evolving. The accuracy continues to get better and the feature set keeps expand ing. The newer tone detector is especially useful because it helps me adjust my emails based on who I'm writing to. Being able to switch between US and UK English is also a big plus since I communicate with customers in both the US and Europe and it helps my writing match their regional style. Another feature I value is the option to get suggestions based on writing goals. Also, having a browser extension, desktop app and and roid app makes it really convenient to work on text no matter which device or screen I'm using. I'm even using Grammarly while typing this review.

Cons

An area that could use some improvement is the gamification side. It emails me stats about my usage, common mistakes and how I compare with other users but some of those numbers feel a bit forced and can be manipulated. For instance, if I skip the accept-suggestion but ton and correct something manually, my error rate still drops. I also think a few grammar recommendations are subjective and come down more to writing style than actual mistakes. Still, these are very small complaints about an otherwise excellent tool for business professionals.

“Saves time”

Pros

As a writing tool, Grammarly feels incredibly complete and genuinely essential for anyone who works with words. Getting started is very simple and the integrations with web browsers and Microsoft Word make it useful across just about any online text field or document. The range of checks it offers is impressive and it can help writers at any level strengthen how they communicate. Beyond simply suggesting edits, it also explains the problems and shows you how to fix them soyou improve while using it.

Cons

The yearly single-user subscription is fairly pricey and the difference in features between the free version and the paid plan feels quite significant. A more affordable pricing tier between those two options would be a welcome addition. It also still misses certain phrasing choices from time to time though that is a difficult area and likely something that will improve as the machine learning continues to develop.

“Feedback is nice”

Pros

Having Grammarly work inside Microsoft Word and Outlook is a huge plus for my day-to-day tasks. It's also available on all the major browsers I use, including Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge whichmakes it really convenient. Another feature I appreciate is being able to adjust goals in the settings like audience, formality, domain, tone and intent. It already covers a lot and I'm confident even more features will be added soon.

Cons

One thing I've noticed is that the Microsoft add-in can be slow to load in Word. Hopefully that gets improved in a future update.

“Excellent!”

Pros

Grammarly picks up almost all of my editing mistakes and clearly tells me why they need attention. That not only helps me correct them but also teaches me what to watch for next time.

Cons

The only part that really annoys me is that Grammarly doesn't remember certain actions. If I dismiss or choose to ignore a suggestion, it shows up again when I reopen the document later.

“I use it daily”

Pros

Back in college, I started using Grammarly and got hooked on it right away. Having it as a browser extension is amazing and I also love being able to create new documents directly in it. Honestly I use Grammarly more often than Microsoft Word now. I really can't recommend this program enough!

Cons

Don't have much negative to say. There are moments when it takes a little time to process a document but that seems pretty normal and something that happens with most programs once in a while.

Pros

There's a lot to appreciate about this tool especially the range of features it offers. The Chrome extension is particularly useful and makes writing feel much more effortless.

Cons

At times, the Grammarly icon gets in the way by covering but tons or causing minor glitches in text fields during real-time checking. It's also frustrating when trying to switch between different English variants, like Canadian and American English.

With so many work emails going out to large groups, I need my writing to be clean and professional every time. Grammarly helps me catch grammar issues quickly and efficiently soI can send error-free messages without spending too much time double-checking everything. I also enjoy the productivity comparisons they provide against other users, it's a fun touch and definitely gives me a little confidence boost.

Cons

One thing I'm not as happy with is that Grammarly doesn't always pick up on context sonow and then it flags something as an error when it really isn't. Hopefully, as the software keeps improving with updates, it will get better at recognizing context and more casual language.

Grammarly has been the most effective writing assistant I've used. Its biggest strength is how quickly it catches grammar mistakes and points out the right tense or better wording. You can run through and proofread a thousand -word article in just a minute. For research papers and articles, it's the most dependable proofreading tool I've worked with. Another stand out feature is the ability to choose the language for corrections, along with the type of paper or article whichhelps make the suggestions more accurate and original. It's also available across different platforms, with a browser extension you can use in real time while working online and it can still be useful offline as well.

Cons

Even though Grammarly is very strong when it comes to making suggestions some of its corrections can still be off. This usually happens with real names that aren't in English, like a person's name or a company name, depending on the context. In those cases, Grammarly may flag them incorrectly sousers still need to review things manually and add those words or phrases to Grammarly as valid terms.

Pros

Having the extension available is one of the best parts of this software because it lets you edit wherever you are. It is a really useful tool for professionals and works well for correcting emails, documents, copies and similar writing. The free version is good enough for fixing basic grammar errors and improving sentence structure whichmakes it especially helpful for email communication. If your work is more focused on writing or editing though, the paid version is worth considering since it helps with active and passive voice, sentence flow, unnecessary words and more detailed corrections.

Cons

Mobile use is still a weak point. There is a keyboard version you can download but it slows typing down a lot soit is not very practical. That definitely needs improvement.

Pros

Across our company, this software has become a huge help because it connects so well with the apps we already use every day. It saves us a ton of time since we no longer have to keep checking with each other to make sure our wording is grammatically correct whichused to happen all the time. Our sales team gets a lot of value from it in particular because they are constantly on the go and little things can easily slip into emails like punctuation issues or missing words. Since they also work across multiple platforms when reaching out to leads, using Grammarly to catch those mistakes just makes sense. We've cut down on a lot of unnecessary back-and -forth with clients because our messages are much more accurate the first time whichsaves time and also helps build trust. I also know I can be too wordy in emails and sometimes overdo punctuation soGrammarly really helps keep that under control when I'm writing to both coworkers and clients. I also appreciate how detailed it is when it comes to word choice and readability becauseit helps make emails clearer instead of sounding messy or confusing.

Cons

Every now and then, there's a glitch and the suggestions don't always feel very varied. At times it seems like we're being pushed toward the same phrasing over and over instead of mixing things up more. Still, it's not a major drawback and we're able to keep our emails clear and concise.

Grammarly Business has been a fantastic tool and honestly feels like something more companies should be using. Whether it's checking spelling and grammar in emails, Word documents or other writing, it really makes a big difference. Also, Grammarly gives you multiple options when reviewing your writing whichis incredibly useful because context matters. If you're working on something more scientific or need to write in third person, it can account for that too. It also integrates with your browser soit can catch grammar and spelling issues there as well.

Cons

There really isn't much to dislike about this program. If I had to point out the biggest downside, it would be that it's not fully compatible with tools like Google Docs. There are still a few situations where it doesn't work perfectly but to be fair, those issues don't come up very often.

Pros

Whether I'm writing something quick or working on a longer piece, this software is always there when I need it. The default red underline while typing isn't my favorite but Grammarly points out mistakes and typos very clearly and offers useful suggestions with just a click. I'd gladly recommend it to anyone.

Cons

Every now and then, the icon that shows up at the end of a typo gets in the way when I'm trying to click a but ton. It seems like it could be some kind of bug becauseI'm sometimes unable to click the but ton or dismiss the Grammarly suggestion. Aside from that, everything else works wonderfully.

The best parts is that after installation, Grammarly keeps running quietly in the background, checking spelling and grammar while you type.

Cons

It is not flawless and from time to time it offers suggestions that clearly go against basic grammar rules. Even so, the fix is simply to look over each recommendation and use your own judgment to tell whether the mistake is in your writing or in Grammarly's suggestion.

“Awesome!”

Pros

Right away, it catches mistakes online really quickly and does a very effective job cleaning up my writing. I mostly use it for emails and Facebook and having the Microsoft Word plugin is a big plus since it lets me use it for offline writing as well.

Cons

One thing I run into is that copywriting sometimes needs intentional "grammatical errors" because I write the way I speak to connect better with readers. It would be really helpful if there were different profiles I could switch between depending on the type of writing.
