“love the writing support”

Pros

Funny enough, I'm actually using the software to write this review and that alone says a lot about how much I enjoy it. It picks up all those little mistakes I make when I'm typing too quickly whichsaves me from having to go back and catch everything myself. The synonym feature has also been incredibly useful especially when I'm working on creative writing and want better word choices.

Cons

One drawback now and then is the Grammarly icon can sometimes get in the way and it does get a little glitchy occasionally.

“Very convenient”

Pros

Between the Chrome extension and how well it works across email social media and other web-based writing tools, Grammarly has become essential to how I present myself online. It catches spelling mistakes, grammar issues and unclear wording whichhelps every email, tweet and post stay polished and aligned with my brand .

Cons

After using it for more than two years, I honestly haven't come across any downside. It does exactly what it says it will do and the customer support has been excellent.

“Amazing”

Pros

Having Grammarly running quietly in the background gives me a real sense of confidence while I work. Since I spend most of the day writing, the browser extension feels like having a second set of eyes on everything, helping me catch typos and grammar issues before they slip through.

Cons

That said, I still wouldn't rely on every single suggestion it makes. There are times when it misses the context of a word or phrase and recommends a change that doesn't actually fit or make sense.

“Helps me alot”

Pros

After trying other proofreading tools over the years, Grammarly is the one that finally stood out to me. I first started using it on a personal account for my own writing and the interface felt natural right away. As the software has continued to evolve, it has only become more useful over time. It's obviously not a replacement for a real copywriter or proofreader but it honestly feels like the closest alternative. I also appreciate that it's reasonably priced, offers smart suggestions, gives clear markup and even provides helpful insight into my writing habits.

Cons

Like any software that attempts to mimic human judgment, Grammarly isn't flawless. A second set of eyes still matters and even though it helps cut costs by reducing the need for another proofreader, I still have to carefully review anything after running it through the program. It can miss nuance, doesn't always pick up on implied meaning and sometimes makes very literal assumptions instead.

“love the smarter writing tools”

Pros

I have used the Free one for several years, we moved to Grammarly Business last year and honestly haven't looked back since. It does much more than catch basic mistakes, it also recommends alternative wording, checks for plagiarism and helps tailor writing to particular genres. I absolutely love it. (and yes, this text got a Grammarly check too.) :)

Cons

Every now and then, the suggested word replacements don't really fit the context although that doesn't happen very often. The only other mildly frustrating part is that Grammarly generally seems pretty opposed to passive voice but it is what it is.

Grammarly works as a free online tool for correcting English spelling and sentence issues. Even with the free account, it can catch and fix more than 150 types of errors without charging anything. It also comes with free browser extensions soit helps with sentence corrections while typing in places like Gmail and WordPress whichmakes it useful for everyday writing tasks online.

Cons

There is also Grammarly Premium whichuses a paid subscription and covers more than 250 types of errors, fixes and writing suggestions for people who want more polished writing with fewer small mistakes. The downside is the price since it feels expensive for many of us and that is probably one of the biggest reasons customers dislike it.

“works nicely”

Pros

Among writing tools, Grammarly has been the one that consistently catches mistakes in both words and sentence structure better than anything else I've used. It works really well across major websites, email and other platforms. On top of spotting spelling issues, it also helps improve sentence phrasing and offers better alternatives.

Cons

The premium plan feels a little pricey although the free version still gives a lot of value. The best time to get Pro is usually during seasonal discounts. One thing still missing is proper collaboration with Google Docs whichreally feels overdue.

“dependable”

Pros

For more than three years, Grammarly has been my go-to for catching spelling mistakes, punctuation issues and other writing errors. One thing I really appreciate is how accessible it is across different platforms. I use both the browser extension and the Microsoft Word extension and it's been especially nice to see the spell checker improve over time, including support for editing in Google Docs.

Cons

At times though, the algorithm feels a little glitchy. Grammarly will occasionally mark words, spellings or punctuation as wrong even when they're actually correct whichcan get pretty irritating.

It keeps me from making spelling mistakes and helps catch most grammar errors before they slip through.

One downside is that it doesn't automatically save work on its own platform.

Pros

From auto-corrections to grammar suggestions, everything works really well. I no longer have to stress about where articles should go in a sentence or where punctuation belongs in a line becauseGrammarly hand les that automatically. It has helped me improve both my blog writing and the quality of my emails and it has even left a good impression on my boss.

Cons

Something missing is a way to undo the changes it makes. Once I accept its suggestions, I have to continue with those edits but there should be an option to revert all the changes if needed.

Pros

Grammarly Business has been a big help with the grammar in a lot of my emails. It helps everything come across as professional, with the right spelling and wording throughout.

Cons

At times, it suggests changes to names and places that are already correct. It gets frustrating having to review edits when the original text doesn't actually need fixing.

“i liked it”

Pros

The tool's integration has improved a lot. Whether I'm working in a browser, on a webpage or inside an app, it usually checks my writing automatically without me having to keep messing with the widget. Before using it, I was always copying and pasting my work into Microsoft Word just to run spell check and grammar check. Now I get that same strong level of editing without bouncing between different programs whichhas really made my workflow more efficient. At this point, Grammarly feels like a safety net for professional writing. It gives me confidence that I'm not missing an obvious mistake that could reflect poorly on me or my organization, while still letting me stay focused on what I'm doing.

Cons

Even though the settings can be adjusted, the editing suggestions can feel a bit too aggressive at times. Because of that, when I need to write project copy quickly and stay in the zone, I usually draft everything first and then turn Grammarly on afterward to review it.

“easy to use”

Pros

Whether you're a lifelong writing nerd like me or someone who struggles a lot with grammar, Grammarly is fantastic for just about anyone. One thing I really appreciate is how simple it is to use. Before Grammarly, real grammar checking mostly felt limited to programs like MS Word. Now, with Grammarly, you can get grammar suggestions across basically any program whichmakes it incredibly useful.

Cons

Every now and then, it gets a little confused and suggests something odd that isn't actually correct. Still, it's a computer program and not a person soit can't always reason through ambiguous wording. Aside from those occasional off suggestions, there really isn't anything I dislike about it.

“fantastic chrome”

Pros

Across our team, Grammarly has become a valuable tool for writing professional emails and even for day-to-day chats. We started with a trial in one department and it quickly showed itself to be an excellent grammar checker sowe ended up recommending it across all departments. The part I appreciate most is the integration with Chrome and Outlook. Its suggestions are very accurate and it does a particularly good job of offering stronger replacements for weak adjectives. It is also flexible to customize since we can choose the language we want and disable spelling checks on specific websites when needed.

Cons

One issue we still run into is with the Firefox integration. At times, after correcting spelling mistakes, the words revert back to the original incorrect version instead of staying fixed. Because of that, we prefer to use Grammarly on Chrome.

Every document and email comes across much more polished and professional when I use this software. It catches writing mistakes right away and suggests several different ways to fix them whichmakes my writing more appealing and clearer to read.

Cons

It does feel a little pricey for what it offers but if presenting yourself well in emails and other text-based communication really matters, the cost is still worth it.

“Incredible results”

Pros

Out of all the writing assistants I've used, Grammarly has become my favorite. Ever since I started using it, it has felt much more helpful than the corrections I usually get from the Word editor. It takes away the stress of making small mistakes and the suggestions are consistently very good. Another thing I appreciate is being able to add it to my browser soit catches errors whenever I'm working on something online. It also saves a lot of time that would normally be spent rereading content just to spot minor mistakes. Also, applying a suggestion is quick since you only need to click on the correction instead of retyping everything.

Cons

Watch out for this thing... if you click the suggested corrections too quickly or without checking carefully, you can end up changing the meaning of your content completely from what you originally intended.

It keeps written content constantly checked for grammar and sentence structure issues whichis a huge advantage when editing. Another helpful part is the automatic correction feature since it makes fixing mistakes much faster and less stressful. The price is also quite low soit is accessible for many writers, editors, publishers and other content creators. Also, it is a dependable tool for producing polished writing with strong grammar across different formats. The plagiarism checker is another valuable feature. Even though it is part of the premium plan, it is especially useful for creators and academics who need to publish original work. It gives users more confidence in what they submit by spotting copied content and allowing them to address it before publication.

Cons

A limitation is that it performs best when there is an internet connection. Also, the plagiarism detection feature is restricted to premium subscribers whichmeans users have to pay more than those on the stand ard plan to access it.

“grammar help i rely on”

Working early mornings, I can definitely miss a spelling or grammar mistake soGrammarly has been a huge help. It catches errors right away and lets me pick the correct spelling or grammar usage from a dropdown, then updates it instantly. That matters a lot in my job because I'm chatting with customers and need to reply quickly, clearly and professionally. I also really appreciate that it flags things like duplicated words, the wrong tense or incorrect verbs. The ads make it look useful but after using it for three months, I'm genuinely sold on it and now consider it something I really need.

Cons

Every now and then it didn't start working immediately. That may have been because of the chat software my company uses or maybe I just had too many windows open on my computer. I'm not very technical soI honestly can't say what caused it. Still, that only seemed to happen about 5% of the time and the other 95% it worked exactly as expected.

Pros

Grammarly is probably the most recognized online grammar-checking tool out there and it really helps improve business communication by making emails sound more polished and professional. The app is very simple to use and runs reliably across browsers like Chrome, Firefox and Safari. I also appreciate that it lets you customize your text and choose between American and British English whichis useful when writing for a particular audience. It basically proofreads your writing for you and catches even tiny errors in grammar, punctuation and spelling. Also, it helps expand vocabulary by suggesting words you may not normally use soover time you get more comfortable with stronger wording. After trying the free version myself, I was genuinely impressed and ended up recommending it for our recruiters. Now we use it every day and it has noticeably improved the email communication between our recruiters and potential cand idates.

Cons

Overall, the product is very good but the pricing does feel a bit high. There is a free trial available although many of the better features are locked soit ends up functioning almost like a basic spell checker. Customer support is responsive through email but reaching an actual person by phone can take quite a while. Sometimes the wait is long enough that you feel like giving up before speaking to anyone.

After using Grammarly Business as our editing assistant for the past three years, I can honestly say it has helped me become a better writer. I'm especially happy with the automatic proofreading tools since they help with punctuation, spelling errors, redundancy and repeated wording. Another feature I really appreciate is the plagiarism checker whichhelps us create more original content.

Cons

The biggest downside is the cost since the software feels quite expensive. It's also frustrating that the tool only works when there is an internet connection.
