“I rely on it!”

Pros

Using it feels very adaptive,one click on a suggested correction and the change is made. Most of the grammar recommendations are helpful and I'm confident enough in my own writing to ignore the ones that strip nuance from what I'm trying to say. I also appreciate that some grammar rules and dictionary items can be customized at the company level, while others can be saved for each individual user. Another feature I genuinely enjoy is the Productivity Summary that lands in my inbox every Monday morning. It's a fun, engaging snapshot and the metrics it shares actually feel meaningful.

Cons

Since it works so well across every application I use and doesn't push me into writing in a voice that isn't mine, I really don't have much to criticize. My usage scores often come in lower than I expect but that's mostly because I rely on certain sentence patterns that are simply part of my style. They're clear, they don't bother the people I'm writing for and I don't accept that they're necessarily incorrect. That's what consistently pulls my usage score down. If there's one area I'd really want to see improved, it would be the analytics. I'd love access to much deeper detail about my usage and productivity over longer stretches of time, along with better comparisons to coworkers inside the company and to broader benchmarks outside of it.

Pros

One thing I appreciate most about it is how it checks the grammar in my sentences and paragraphs before I send out emails. I use it every single time I'm emailing clients or other staff and it helps me catch mistakes before anything goes out.

Cons

There are times when I don't agree with some of the corrections it suggests. Every now and then, a sentence is already right but the tool changes it in a way that actually makes it incorrect. The good part is that I can always ignore the suggestion when it doesn't make sense.

It's really useful for fixing spelling, punctuation and grammar. The part I appreciate most is the rewriting feature along with the suggestions it gives.

The downside is that the free version only comes with the basic features which pretty much pushes you to think about upgrading to the paid plan.

It's become an essential tool for handling writing in a non-native language properly and helps prevent unnecessary typos. The AI is really impressive and the writing style detector does a very nice job of helping polish a paragraph and take it to the next level.

Pros

Putting together content for submission across different websites is much easier with this tool. The built-in AI is especially useful because it lets me rewrite or adjust content in whatever tone I need, whether that's formal, persuasive or something else. Its plugin also makes the whole experience very simple to use on any website supported by Grammarly.

Cons

There really isn't much to complain about with this software, aside from the fact that it occasionally logs me out while I'm in the middle of using it.

I use nearly all the features in it and I find them genuinely useful. Because of that, I can't point to any feature as the least useful.

Having spelling, grammar and punctuation all in one tool has been really useful. It also includes AI writing features although I only started trying that part recently so I can't say much about how well it works just yet.

Cons

One thing that seems missing is more tutorials on how to get the most out of the AI features. I'm still not sure whether the same approaches that work with ChatGPT apply here as well.

At this point there's nothing I dislike. I'm happy with everything about it for now.

though..this has become my go-to helper every single day. I rely on it not just for writing but also for proofreading and editing all my texts, documents, emails and pretty much anything else I need to put into words. Ever since I started using Grammarly, my work as a writer, proofreader and editor has completely changed for the better. And once Grammarly Business came into the picture, it transformed the way my whole team writes too.

Across our team, the biggest advantage of it has been its detailed, real-time grammar and writing suggestions. They've made a noticeable difference in the quality and professionalism of our written communication. Another big plus is that it works across many apps which makes it even more useful in day-to-day work.

There really wasn't any major downside to point out. If anything, a few team members needed a little time at the beginning to get used to the tool so there was a small learning curve. After that though, it became highly beneficial for everyone.
