Pros

Using Kumospace has been a really positive experience because the platform is simple to use, packed with strong security features and has an excellent interface. Its virtual workspace tools make remote work feel effortless and allow teams to stay productive from anywhere. Video conferencing is also very convenient which improves communication across teams and makes virtual meetings much more effective for business. Also, the collaboration features are very useful. Overall, Kumospace has been dependable and makes work much easier.

Cons

Up to this point, it has met our expectations and I have not run into any issues worth mentioning.

Pros

Managing a large team feels much more practical with this flexible workspace. Setting up and organizing collaboration spaces is simple and the interface is user friendly enough to move around without much confusion. One feature that deserves more attention is the ability to add games and activities in it which has been genuinely useful for team bonding and social interaction.

Cons

There can still be a bit of a learning curve for people who are not very comfortable with digital tools. It also does not perform particularly well on low-bandwidth connections so some backend optimization similar to what Zoom offers would help. Another limitation is the 4-hour-per-week usage cap which would be better if it were extended.

Working with decentralized teams is much more convenient with this and it really helps bring everyone together in one place.

Pricing is on the higher side although compared with the cost of maintaining a physical office, it's still reasonable.

Ever since we started using kumo, working with a remote team feels much more connected and it really creates the sense that everyone is in the same shared space. The room customization is a nice touch too since people can show off their preferences, hobbies and personal style to the rest of the team. Setup was simple and the integration with Google Calendar was very simple to get running. We also rely on it every day to clock in.

Search for older chat messages still needs some improvement and there's no option to mark messages as unread.

After trying several virtual office platforms,probably at least the top four on the market, it is without any doubt the best one we've used.

Right from the first day, my team completely warmed up to the tool. They were pretty nervous about working from home because their Covid experience left them feeling isolated and out of the loop but this changed that quickly. Being able to create a shared open workspace where everyone could hear each other throughout the day made it feel like we were all still together in the same office. That feature really made a difference for us.

The only thing I'd want more of is additional decor items since the team does spend time personalizing and updating their office space.

On Mac, I'm not able to share audio which is limiting. The sound box also only works with SoundCloud and YouTube TV has to be turned on manually by each person in the room instead of one person enabling it for everyone.

Working remotely, having a shared space where everyone can connect in real time feels incredibly valuable. The laid-back layout makes it even better and overall it's an awesome product that I really hope our team gets to keep using for as long as we need it.

Nothing stands out as a downside. If I had to come up with something, I'd only ask for a few more office customization or decor options.

Using it has been a lot of fun and it fits really well with how our remote team works. Being able to see my teammates and jump into conversations whenever needed makes collaboration feel much more natural. It reminds me of having Slack and Zoom combined in one platform. Getting it up and running was simple, it's been simple to use and the feature set is excellent. Also, the customer support has been fantastic. We rely on it every day to work together as a team.

At first, the interface and moving around the office layout took some getting used to. Once I learned the menus and commands though, it quickly became second nature within a few days.

Right away, being able to see my team members made a big difference. The platform is simple to use and the channels and announcements are really helpful since they can be shared and saved for everyone to go back to whenever needed. Support has also been consistently fast and ready to answer any questions I have. Getting everything set up was simple and we were able to bring the whole team on board and integrate it quickly. At this point, everyone uses it as soon as they sign in.

During group meetings, I do wish the layout felt a bit more like Zoom. When someone is presenting, the participant icons seem a little too small.

There seems to be a growing emphasis on chat tools and that feels like it's pulling attention away from further improving the core video and audio experience. It would be better to lean into what makes it unique instead of trying to be Slack

Having team meetings, welcoming clients and jumping into quick one-on-ones with coworkers all happens without needing to create or send meeting links. Everyone can set up their own office and the meeting spaces can be made to feel creative and unique. Clients really enjoy the experience of visiting our virtual HQ in Kumospace. Getting started was simple and whenever I needed help, the customer support team was excellent. We use it every day.

Everything has been stable and works well but it doesn't feel like there's a lot of active development happening in terms of new features. I appreciate the reliability though I'd really like to see more useful additions rolled out over time.
