“5 stars from me”
Pros
This tool has been really valuable for our Council members who are spread across a large regional and remote part of Australia. It helps us stay connected not only with each other but also with First Nation communities at both the national and international level.
Cons
One capability we're still hoping to see is for Administrators to be able to mute a participant's microphone or camera, with their consent, when something is happening on their end. It would also be very helpful to upload documents directly into the meeting room chat instead of relying only on public-facing Dropbox links or similar tools.

“interactive webinars with smart insights”
Pros
Getting people signed up and into the event is very simple which saves time right from the start. The automated emails and reminder messages are a big advantage and the attendee data you collect gives really useful insight into how interested people are in your content and how the audience behaves. The polls and question features are a nice touch for keeping sessions interactive. It's also really convenient that you can upload your own media and play a video or PDF presentation directly inside the platform which cuts down on a lot of extra steps.
Cons
A limitation is that only six people can be on stage at once and that drops to five when someone is sharing their screen. The stream also can't be embedded on other pages, such as your organization's own website. Another missing feature is the ability to send attachments through the chat. Also, exported videos come out with a very large file size so better compression would definitely help.

“feature-packed!”
Pros
Right away, this software felt very simple to use. It covers everything we actually needed, including separate chat and Q&A tabs, enough spots for speakers, simple media sharing and presentation and an easy way to import paid participants through Zapier.
Cons
Biggest limitation for us is the attendee cap which feels too low. We'll probably outgrow the platform soon and have to start looking for another option, even though none of the other platforms seem as good as this one.

“Practical webinar tools”
Pros
Most of the features work really well. The automatic emails for registration and post-webinar follow-up are especially useful. It's also very simple to use since both attendees and speakers only need a browser. Moderation is handled nicely too, with the option to manage chat, polls and questions either separately or under one shared responsibility.
Cons
There were a few stability problems during the lockdown period, likely because the platform was being used so heavily. I'd also like to see more interactive tools added to make sessions more engaging.

“Strong analytics”
Pros
Running multiple events is simple with this platform which has been a big help since we host both our own webinars and sessions for clients. The option to use up to six video streams works really well for panel discussions and being able to showcase guest speakers on the registration page is a nice touch. Clients especially value the attendee insights we can share afterward through Livestorm's analytics and data export tools.
Cons
Minor downside is that support hours don't quite line up with Australian business hours although the online help guides are very thorough.

“Amazing plug-and-play webinars”
Pros
Getting webinars up and running with this platform has been really simple. It's a solid plug-and-play solution that let us start rolling out webinars across the business without needing a big time investment. I've also been happy with how dependable it is and how much is already handled right out of the box.
Cons
Integration options are still fairly limited. There are also a few pain points, like allowing multiple people to join from a single link and supporting multi-webinar events.

“useful insights”
Pros
To get webinars up and running with it is very simple. The interface feels user friendly and the data dashboard gives a clear view of how each webinar performed right away. It's also nice to see the platform keep evolving, with regular improvements and clear attention to customer feedback. Another major advantage for us is that Livestorm is GDPR compliant.
Cons
Because it runs in the browser, the platform can be a bit more sensitive to the speaker's internet connection. That said, we haven't had a case where a speaker couldn't complete a presentation unless their connection was fully down. Usually, refreshing the page is enough to fix it although speaker drop-offs can still affect the overall user experience.

“all-in-one setup”
Pros
It was very quick and to have everything in one place is a big plus. It cuts out the need for a bunch of extra integrations.
Cons
The replay quality could be better especially when it comes to screen sharing which looks a little blurry at times.

“powerful webinar engagement features”
Pros
Bringing speakers on stage or taking them off is very simple and I really appreciate being able to play uploaded media directly during a session. The attendee interaction tools are also a big plus especially chat, Q&A and polls which make webinars much more engaging.
Cons
A few things would make the platform even better in future updates. It would be useful if organizers could change the webinar room colors. Since attendees sometimes post questions in the chat, moderators should have the option to move those messages into the questions tab. It would also help to have a way to delete all previous polls. More reordering options would be valuable too, such as sorting webinars on the dashboard by alphabet, date or custom order, rearranging presentations in shared media and changing the order of speakers on the registration page. Private chat with moderators or speakers would be another helpful addition. I'd also like moderators or team members to be able to join as attendees from another device. When I host a webinar on my laptop, I usually join from my phone as an attendee as well so I can troubleshoot both sides of the experience. Also, supporting more than 1,000 attendees would be fantastic. I'd also want to use the platform for hybrid events but right now it doesn't allow a live feed while also having presenters or slides on stage.

“Packed with built-in features”
Pros
Right away, the biggest advantage has been how many features are already included compared with other platforms. We really didn't want one of those 'Ryanair-style' software setups where everything useful costs extra as an add-on so having it all built in has been a big plus. The interface is simple to use and the analytics integrations and reporting have also been very solid.
Cons
One downside is that support isn't instantly available when something urgent comes up on the spot although we've only run into that once in the last six months. The current white-label customization and design options are also a bit limited and there's not much flexibility when it comes to moving and resizing broadcast windows to fit our needs.

“Excellent support!”
Pros
Felt pretty simple to get the webinar up and running, took just a few minutes. It is very user friendly even if you've never used it before. The customization options are solid, the integrations are really good and it's very simple for speakers to join or be assigned speaker access during a live session. It also includes all the tracking features I'd expect from a webinar tool. Also, it costs much less than the webinar platform we were using before and the customer support has been excellent.
Cons
I'd still love to see a private chat option for hosts and guest speakers during the webinar. That would make it much easier to coordinate behind the scenes, decide which questions should be answered live versus followed up on later and agree on the order for addressing them.

“Works so well”
Pros
Running events with this platform has been refreshingly simple since there's nothing for attendees to download. That has been especially important for our clients because many of them join from work computers and don't have admin permissions to install anything. From the admin side, I was genuinely impressed by how well all the features work together. It seems to have covered nearly everything needed to host webinar events in a polished, professional way and the event analytics are always right there when you need them for evaluation.
Cons
So once we started using the platform more actively, we did notice a few areas that could be improved. We passed those suggestions along to it and they were implemented very quickly. At this point, I really don't have any complaints.

“stable and nice”
Pros
Launching our first webinar with this platform was genuinely a pleasant surprise. After testing several other options, this one felt user friendly right out of the box and let us get everything running without any major hassle. During our trial and live sessions, the audio and video stayed solid with no lag and we didn't receive any complaints from attendees watching either the live event or the recording. The marketing features are decent as well although I wouldn't mind a little more flexibility with the email templates, unless I just haven't uncovered that part yet. Overall, it's a very stable platform that performs exceptionally well where it counts most, delivering the webinar reliably.
Cons
There really wasn't anything that came across as a serious downside. If I had to point to a few improvements, I'd say it would be nice to have a simpler way to share in-webinar resources like downloadable PDF handouts without needing third-party services such as Dropbox. The email template editor also feels a little limited. Having the ability to upload a custom HTML email template would make full corporate branding much easier to achieve. We also use OBS for scene overlays and when working with OBS-Camera, we had to mirror the output so viewers would see everything in the proper orientation. Still, none of these were deal breakers.

“performs well!”
Pros
Having attendees join the chat, ask targeted questions, respond to polls and even come on stage has made our webinars far more interactive. The connection between presenters and attendees has improved tremendously because of those features. We had been using another platform that was not really built for webinars so switching to this has made the whole process feel much more smooth. With so many people working from home now, it has also helped us boost engagement with clients, customers and others in our industry. Another big plus is being able to place the registration page directly on our website.
Cons
A problem I still run into is that attendees have a hard time going back and re-watching webinars afterward. I would really like to have a feature where they can log in again later and access previous webinars our company has hosted.

“Amazing event automation hub”
Pros
Right from the start, the platform feels very user friendly and simple to use. It covers almost everything needed in terms of options, from designing invitations and setting up landing pages to handling automation both before and after an event which makes it possible to manage everything in one place. The introduction video is definitely worth watching because it gives a really helpful overview of the available features.
Cons
Something I still have not been able to work out is how to let attendees download PDFs during on-demand webinars.

“solid webinar features!”
Pros
After more than a month of comparing webinar platforms and going through review after review, Livestorm ended up being the one that checked the right boxes. It's very user-friendly and the feature set feels complete. The landing page design is strong, the email automations are useful, the sign-in flow works well and having a calendar for upcoming events is a big plus.
Cons
What would make it even better is the ability to save call-to-action button settings so they can be reused in future webinars, similar to how polls can be reused. It would also be really helpful to have a payment gateway option for paid webinars.

“Loved it!”
Pros
Paid webinars, whether they're live sessions or recorded replays, is exactly what we needed and this tool handles them better than anything else we came across. Another big plus is that attendees don't have to install anything extra since they can just join straight from their browser.
Cons
It would be much better if webinar payments were built in directly instead of relying on Eventbrite and Zapier especially since that setup gets expensive.

“affordable webinar tools”
Pros
Getting a registration page set up and handling attendees is pretty simple with this platform. It also comes with strong features like Q&A, surveys, media support and screen sharing, all at a budget-friendly price.
Cons
One thing that gets frustrating during broadcasts is not being able to adjust the screen size for the camera view. I'd also like to see more design customization options for the registration page in future updates.

“Smart integrations”
Pros
Running webinars with this has been simple for both our team and the attendees which was a big priority for us. It handles that really well. There's nothing to download and the automations and integrations are a big plus. I also appreciate the modern look and feel. A lot of the other platforms we considered just felt outdated and outdated by comparison.
Cons
A few weeks back, my complaint would have been that uploaded videos weren't included in recordings unless you used screen capture. That's no longer a problem since they've already added that feature. It actually feels like they've been rolling out new functionality almost every week.

“interactive webinars that deliver”
Pros
The platform really shines when it comes to audience engagement. We've had a lot of success using the chat and poll features and they consistently drive strong participation from attendees. Setting up webinars is also very convenient especially with the landing page builder and automated emails handling much of the process.
Cons
After connecting it with our HubSpot CRM, one limitation became pretty clear. Even though the API setup itself is simple, the data that gets pushed into HubSpot is restricted to a single section of the contact record and only lets us send over the webinar name. It would be much more useful to choose which HubSpot field gets updated and decide what information should populate it.
