“simple webinars”

Pros

Using it has been really simple. The interface is simple, the data collection tools are useful and recording a webinar and sharing it afterward takes very little effort. The automated email system is also a big plus and helps keep everything organized.

Cons

There are still a few limitations that stand out. Only 6 people can be on the webinar stage at once, the design customization feels restricted and some elements are mandatory, like the banner image filter color. Media sharing is also limited since only one file can be displayed at a time so switching between a PDF, a video and another PDF isn't very flexible. Also, only one administrator can edit webinars which can be restrictive for teams.

“quick setup”

Pros

When COVID-19 disrupted our plans, we had to pivot fast and find a way to deliver a webinar that was already on the calendar after our original platform fell through. We chose it for that event and it soon turned into our preferred tool for larger presenter-led webinars. One of the biggest advantages has been how simple it is to use. With any new system, the last thing you want is to spend ages figuring it out and it didn't have that problem. It was fast to learn and just as quick to teach to the rest of the team.

Cons

One challenge has been browser compatibility for presenters who typically rely on Edge or Internet Explorer. We now have to remind everyone ahead of time to have Chrome installed but that can be tricky when company IT policies and security approvals slow things down before an event. It doesn't happen constantly but the 1,000-attendee cap has also created a few issues for us from time to time.

“Excellent!!”

Pros

Even as complete beginners, we were able to test and roll out Livestorm for the webinars we had planned without running into any issues.

Cons

The only thing missing for us is the option to stream a live webinar directly to YouTube Live though it is not a deal-breaker.

“easy customizations”

Pros

Setting up webinars with it takes only a few minutes and after that the platform handles most of the work for you. It creates the registration page, sends confirmation emails, reminds people about the event and even shares the replay details afterward. There's also plenty of flexibility to personalize the registration page and the emails. The webinar room itself is simple for both hosts and attendees and it's especially convenient that nobody has to install any software to join.

Cons

Guest speakers need to use the correct browser especially Google Chrome, if they want to go on stage. From time to time, there are some minor stability issues although that often seems tied to the strength of the internet connection. It would also be nice to have the option to use a custom background for video which hopefully will be added in a future update.

“Works well!”

Pros

Running it through Chrome without needing any extra software is a big advantage to me and being able to bring participants onto the "Stage" adds a really strong level of interactivity.

Cons

Something that really holds it back is the lack of a built-in "Follow Up Survey." Instead, users have to rely on an external survey and that completely breaks tracking so all follow-up data is lost. That makes it a weak choice for anything tied to business development. honestly that's pretty surprising because the product itself is well coded and clearly built by capable developers so adding a simple native survey feels like it should have been an obvious feature.

“Excellent support”

Pros

Across both internal sessions and external webinars, including events with clients, it has worked really well for us. It's been highly effective and simple to use. The browser compatibility is a major advantage in such a competitive software space, the built-in email system makes it much simpler for any team member to manage events and the analytics provided are very valuable. On the few occasions we've needed help, the support team has also been consistently excellent.

Cons

There were some challenges in the beginning with mobile access for users on phones especially guest speakers.

“Loved the on-demand tools”

Pros

The platform covers a lot, 20-minute webinars with recording, meetings with recording and unlimited on-demand content whenever you need it. It also handles meeting scheduling well, works with custom-built websites and lets you create registration pages with personalized emails for attendees, plus plenty of other useful features.

Cons

A couple of things still feel limited. There's no way to add sessions to on-demand videos or organize them into groups or folders and live webinar streams can't be integrated directly into a custom-built website.

“automation with clear documentation”

Pros

It is very user-friendly, does a great job automating the process and comes with plenty of documentation to help along the way. It's also nice that there's no need for any plug-ins.

Cons

Honestly we haven't come across anything we dislike about this software.

“Outstanding webinar automation”

Pros

Such a simple but powerful webinar platform. It lets you build automated, personalized email journeys for attendees and it's very clear which settings control each part of the webinar setup. The webinar experience itself is excellent.

Cons

Manual email invite tools feel a bit limited and not nearly as developed as the automated journey features. Also, shared media doesn't get recorded unless you enable an optional beta feature although the support team responded quickly and was very helpful.

“web-based analytics done right”

Pros

Having everything in one end-to-end platform without needing to download an app is a big plus. It runs in the browser, skips the complicated registration widgets and still provides really strong analytics. The team also hosts an interactive live demo every week which is very insightful and gives you the chance to ask the platform's creators questions directly.

Cons

A hand-raise feature similar to Zoom would be a nice addition.

“Easy to use”

Pros

Streaming and sharing video files has been reliable, with no audio problems or buffering interruptions. Sending invites is simple and it's helpful to see who has unsubscribed. I also appreciate being able to edit the emails and adjust how often they're sent.

Cons

One thing that's still missing is a way to carry attendees over from one webinar to the next. At the very least, having an option to export that list to Excel would be really useful.

“Feature-packed”

Pros

Right from the start, it feels very user-friendly, offers broad compatibility and includes some truly impressive features.

Cons

Compatibility mode used to bring attendees on stage could be a bit less restrictive. It also doesn't recognize the iPad Pro as a "mobile device."

“had the best experience using it”

Pros

Getting started took a little figuring out because of a few setup quirks but once everything was in place, it worked well. Our entire team uses it around the world for weekly customer webinars and the video quality is solid. The interaction tools are also really good and help keep sessions engaging.

Cons

The attendee registration process could be made a bit more organized.

“user-friendly setup”

Pros

Surprised that the setup was so simple and the interface feels very user-friendly too. I was able to set everything up on my own without needing any training.

Cons

Something that could be improved is the 100-attendees option. If you want to limit the number of registrants, you currently have to reach out to the support team to do it for you. That control should really be available directly to users.

“Great webinar tools”

Pros

To get our Outreach Managers up to speed with this software has been pretty simple because the platform feels user friendly and simple to navigate. The in-webinar features are all genuinely useful and our team has really appreciated having them available during sessions.

Cons

Webinar attendee limit usually doesn't affect us but there have been a few occasions where it caused some issues. We'd also really like to have a Salesforce integration added to Livestorm.

“flexible integrations and customization”

Pros

Using this has been really simple and I especially enjoy how much customization it offers. It also connects well with a wide range of apps which makes it even more useful.

Cons

I'm not happy that only 6 people can be in the same room at once. I'd really prefer to have at least 10 participants together and I also wish each contributor's name appeared in their window the way it does in Zoom.

“Everything is good!”

Pros

Setting up webinars in this tool feels really simple. The app is simple to navigate and creating a new session only takes a few clicks. The webinar room has a clean layout that works well for both hosts and attendees and it's convenient to add features like questions, polls and chat. I also appreciate that the chat can be switched to a private mode so only the host and moderator can view it. On the security side, it gives me extra confidence that Livestorm is a French company, GDPR compliant and follows European data protection standards.

Cons

There are only a couple of small things I'd point out. When someone is added as a team member, they can't conveniently join another webinar as a regular user and instead need to sign up with a different personal email address. It would also be nice to have the option to set a custom background in the future.

“clean webinar tools and automation”

Pros

Automated emails before and after each webinar have been really helpful and being able to bring in a co-host who isn't even a user is a big plus. The registration pages look clean and professional and it's simple to add extra sessions to an existing webinar. I also appreciate having the option to duplicate webinars which saves a lot of time.

Cons

At times, the webinar recordings play back looking pretty blurry. Starting a webinar also isn't the most user friendly process.

“complete webinar platform”

Pros

It covers webinars and online events really well and feels like a more complete platform overall. The analytics are useful, the help center responds quickly and the interface is friendly to use.

Cons

Few important features are still missing, simultaneous interpretation through separate audio channels inside the webinar room so attendees can choose which language to hear, camera enhancement, background removal, fuller customization for the registration page and email invites, background opacity settings, better control over the size and placement of elements on the registration page and more branding options inside the webinar room. It would also help if raised hands showed when someone has typed a question, if GC were included for lower-third labeling and if PowerPoint files could be shared directly in the webinar room instead of only PDFs and videos.

“Perfect zoom alternative”

Pros

After running into problems with Zoom, I started looking for another option and it turned out to be an excellent replacement. I've been able to hold video sessions with clients and business partners without asking anyone to download software which makes things much more convenient. The free webinar option for sessions under 20 minutes has been especially useful too and I actually appreciate that limit because it keeps my webinars short while I work through the process the way I prefer.

Cons

The only thing I'm really missing is a recording feature so I could save meetings and upload them to YouTube or another platform if needed.
