Amazing tool!

Pros

It was super simple and easy to add tickets and let people buy them! The whole process was very smooth.

Cons

It would be really helpful if there was a notification when tickets are almost sold out, so we wouldn't have to keep checking back so often.

Exceptional support team

Pros

The user interface is really clear and easy to figure out, especially for such a complex system, as long as you take a little time to read through the help documents. But the best part by far is the customer support team. We've rarely asked for a customization that wasn't done quickly and they answer questions almost immediately. Even when we asked for something that turned out to be a programming challenge, the team handled it without a hitch. We've used AnywhereSeat a lot during the pandemic and they've always been there when we needed help, especially with streaming issues. Most of our patrons, who aren't super tech-savvy have adapted to the system without any major issues. It just works! We haven't had much experience with in-person shows yet because of COVID but our tests have shown it'll work just as well.

Cons

Patron support with AnywhereSeat could use some improvement. We're planning to ask for an FAQ document for our patrons, since they often call about technical issues that we or It don't have control over. If our experience so far is anything to go by, I'm sure they'll be quick to take our suggestions seriously. The Ludus reports took a little time to get used to but now our bookkeeper knows exactly how to find the info we need.

Thanks to Ludus

Pros

So many great things about Ludus! I always think the best way to know what a product is like is by seeing how the team behind it works. It gets an A+ for that. They have this online chat feature on the site and I've always gotten a response within minutes whenever I had a question. I even submitted a few feature ideas and they actually listened and implemented them! You really don't need much help using It but if you do, the support is right there. As for features, they were total game-changers for our public school's performing arts department: we could create our own venue map, take online reservations and payments, offer variable pricing for seats, pass on credit card fees or absorb them, set up dynamic social distancing for seating, easily track sales and proceeds, get fast/accurate payments after events and the best part, they're always improving. The whole team is constantly testing new features and rolling them out.

Cons

The one area where It could improve is the reporting interface. It's possible to get the information you need but it can take some time and searching to find exactly what you're looking for.
