Formerly yammer now viva

Pros

It's really well integrated with Teams and SharePoint. I get notifications through Teams and can easily find documents in SharePoint.

Cons

Some file formats don't support previews especially those related to programming.

Improving company-wide engagement

Pros

It makes connecting with colleagues from all over the world incredibly easy. Whether it's for collaboration, sharing ideas or just catching up, It bridges the distance and helps me stay engaged with people no matter where they are.

Cons

I haven't noticed anything major, the app is pretty handy.

Seems cool but is it essential?

Pros

I love how the company-wide communication works. It lets me ask questions and connect with people I wouldn't normally have access to.

Cons

There are so many groups to choose from that it can be hard to figure out where to post. Plus conversations often go off-topic since there's not much monitoring from the right people.
