Tracks our projects for us

Pros

This tool helps us monitor our projects and makes customer information instantly accessible. The ability to upload daily logs and photos keeps everything current and organized.

Cons

It can be tough getting into older files from jobs we did years back so we end up using Google Drive more often to find what we're looking for

Organizes our work

Pros

I love how this organizes everything we do. Being able to organize all the crucial info and documents for each client in one spot makes my job so much easier.

Pros

Nice to have everything under one roof. I can store all my information in a single location and it definitely cuts down on the time I spend searching for things.

Cons

accessible platform

Pros

I appreciate how user-friendly this platform is and everything you need to manage work is right there, accessible from anywhere. Customers really enjoy tracking progress through photos, checking invoices, asking questions and approving change orders.

Cons

Not satisfied with the financial side

Pros

The todo feature is really handy for keeping everyone on track with their projects.

Cons

I'm not thrilled with how it handles finances. Change orders get grouped together and the system still allows billing for changes that homeowners have actually declined.

Pros

Cons

Good Product

Pros

Minimal effort is required to keep track of open jobs adding to the platform's convenience.

Cons

Updates to the software often result in changes to features and the removal of templates causing inconvenience. Scheduling features have also changed affecting workflow.

Buildertrend

Pros

The features within Buildertrend enable seamless collaboration across all departments providing visibility into every phase of each project. From sales leads to project completion the CRM facilitates realtime communication for onsite managers without the need for extensive documentation at every project stage.

Cons

At this stage we haven't identified any shortcomings but there was an incident where locating a specific daily log comment proved challenging. Our experience with Buildertrend has been limited to a few months.
