Pros
I utilize some accounting features and they work seamlessly. Three aspects I appreciate about the software are its web based nature, the clean interface and the excellent training staff.
Cons
It would be helpful if the page turned or went gray after entering or saving data to provide clarity. Currently,it can be confusing to determine if the information has been successfully saved. Additionally there is no access to payroll yet.

Pros
Overall I find CMiC to be more intuitive than other project software I have used. Firstly the Accounts Payable Module is straightforward and user friendly. Secondly the lookup module for Accounts Payable and Subcontractor invoices is effective. And Lastly the programs filters enable quick searches.
Cons
CMiC has certain idiosyncrasies that are not user friendly leading to frustrating experiences. Error messages lack helpful guidance for correction and proceeding and ticket submissions often remain unresolved for months.

Pros
I rely on CMiCs daily log and meeting minutes on a daily basis. I am highly satisfied with the software's comprehensive offerings particularly its excellent daily log functionality.
Cons
Entering meeting minutes can be difficult especially when inputting attendee names and ensuring proper sequencing.

Pros
There are three aspects that stand out to me and they are effortless navigation, the ability to establish connections between different components and the customization options available for reports.
Cons

With each passing day I gain more experience using CMiC. I believe it will become much easier when I start my next project with the knowledge I have acquired. The ability to track changes and the centralization of all information in a single hub/database is highly advantageous.
Cons
Once a post is made there is no way to make changes for any mistakes. Additionally finding the appropriate report can be challenging.

As a new user I found the system a bit challenging to learn and there are several features we have yet to explore. However it has great potential and I can see that continuous improvements are being made. What I really like are Real-time job cost data, ability to import/export from Excel and Cloud-Based
Cons
Certain areas could be made more user friendly such as including "select all" buttons. But There is inconsistency in advice and setup instructions from trainers and an interface for paying payroll liabilities would be beneficial.

CMiC makes managing costs and submittals very simple and easy. There are three specific features that I find excellent such as Cost Reports, Submittal tracking and RFI tracking

Some forms do not appear aesthetically pleasing when printed and quicker resolution of issues is needed. Meeting minutes could use some adjustments.

My overall experience with the software has been positive although there are some issues that need to be addressed. Occasionally the performance of the software is inconsistent and when encountering a problem, we have to escalate it to support. However there are three aspects that I find beneficial Ease of use, Journal entries made easy with clear formatting, Internet based accessibility from anywhere
Cons
Lack of consistency is noticeable in certain processes like job billing. Slowdowns in the software occur without prior notification requiring contact with support for clarification.

CMiC is an exceptional ERP solution for the construction industry. The cost management functionality is excellent and user friendly. Moreover CMiC provides outstanding customer support and has top notch account representatives.
Cons
Hidden costs, particularly adapters can be unexpected. Error messages do not always provide intuitive information resulting in time wasted troubleshooting with both our team and CMiC support.

Everything is well organized within the system and it integrates smoothly with other components. Being web based allows for flexibility to work from anywhere.
Cons
The system requires numerous button presses to function correctly and there are excessive checks and balances that hinder quick completion of tasks. The estimating module is neither fast nor efficient.

The software has been extremely glitchy and the IT support has been inadequate in accurately calculating payroll and reporting job costs. We have been dealing with ongoing software issues for nearly a year.
Cons
Reports often contain miscalculations leading us to create spreadsheets for more accurate reporting. Ongoing software issues have resulted in significant productivity losses making us less efficient when using CMiC software.

My primary use of the CMiC database is to access data occasionally enter equipment into the Equipment module, and submit my time sheet. Overall CMiC functions well but it would be beneficial to have a consistent interface across all modules.

It took some time to get accustomed to the software but now I feel comfortable using it. I find the exportable logs to Excel very useful and the software generally runs at a good speed. I also really like its capacity to handle large amounts of data without slowing down.
Cons
The 1099 module lacks usefulness. There is a need for links to additional information within the data points. Pay attention to the various choices for reports.

Pros
The software meets our general payroll needs although I would like to see more standardized payroll reports. For data that is not available in reports I have to download it from view screens and create my own Excel reports. It would also be helpful to have historical pay and hire/termination/rehire data easily accessible within the Employee Profile Maintenance screens. Three things I really like about CMiC are Ability to download data to Excel, Automatic recognition of state reciprocity/non-reciprocity for withholding tax and Efficient data search using query operators/functions
