The standout feature is the automatic estimating and phasing. Its calculations for carpet cuts are pretty accurate which saves me from doing those measurements by hand any more. I also find that copying and adjusting files or drawings is simple and quick to accomplish in this software.

On larger projects, the performance can slow down, likely due to file size. I've also noticed that pattern creation isn't always as user-friendly as I'd like sometimes the layouts aren't quite right, which can affect material quantities

I use M2 (yes, I call it M2!) daily and enjoy being able to present the areas and elevations to the clients in 3D. Most of the time, creating patterns is simple, and I appreciate being able to break up projects into smaller tasks. And Im more productive and finish my tasks faster when I use the hotkeys. I would advise anyone in the flooring sector to invest in this software.

Some key areas need improvement, such as room numbering. Dividers can be problematic in some situations, and there seems to be no real solution to this problem. I came up with a workaround, but it shouldnt be something a user needs to do.

The software used to be great. Photos were easily uploaded, and they were automatically formatted beautifully with categories and subcategories.

As soon as we saw what the new update would look like, we immediately started looking for another program. Unfortunately, the latest update omitted the ability to organize each estimate. I hope they fix this lack of organizing features as soon as possible.

I was looking for software that would let me easily bring in PDFs and scale drawings so I could calculate flooring materials, including sheet goods for carpet.

It would be great if they expanded the product catalog to include newer, popular items and pruned out old, unused ones from the database. For example, I'd like to see a dedicated LVP plank category separate from Wood, support for 12x24 tile sizes and removal of obsolete entries like 6x6 tile.

I use M2 every single day and appreciate nearly all of the tools the software offers. Being able to present areas and elevations to installers in 3D is something I truly value and rely on. Creating patterns is simple in most situations and I also like that I can take off projects in phases and estimate by tab. Using keyboard shortcuts makes me much more efficient and helps me finish my tasks faster. I'd confidently recommend this program to anyone working in the flooring industry.
