I really appreciate that I can put together a flooring estimate quickly on the spot and wrap up the sale within minutes.

On the standalone tablet version, I find entering data like names and addresses could be made simpler.

Can't honestly narrow it down since there are so many helpful features but if you force me to choose a few I'd highlight its roll-goods estimating and the perimeter products.

What really bugs me is having to purchase licenses incrementally as the business grows. I also wish longtime clients received better rates and that adding more users became progressively cheaper over time.

We really like this program. Our team uses it for measuring homes by quickly creating 2D floor plans that we then export to finish in AutoCAD. MeasureSquare provides accurate, fast results and is overall simple and easy to use.

I can only erase handwriting in sections rather than removing it all at once which can be inconvenient when I want to clear entire notes.

Updates rearrange so much that I sometimes have to relearn the program.

I use it mainly to calculate square footage for my takeoffs and bids. I also use it as a visual aid to walk customers and installers through the layout. For me, the software is simple to use. It's designed so I can work out every aspect of a job and I haven't found any limits to the ways I can put it to use.

To be honest, there isn't anything about this software that I dislike. I really can't come up with any complaints or downsides.

It's really easy to use and I can clearly see every zone where tile, carpet, vinyl and wood will go which helps our installers make sure they put the correct material in the exact spot.

The takeoff and estimating tools are incredibly useful once I have all the parameters configured correctly. That setup makes modifying the project far simpler and more efficient. I rely on the 3D view often to make sure I'm capturing every item on floors and walls and it serves as a helpful visual to share with contractor or owner.

I'd love to have an improved wall layout when I print the Layout sheets. It would be really great if I could print each room's walls arranged the same way they appear when I click "view wall" in the program on the printouts, instead of having them shown sideways. Also, from what I recall, the older FEP versions used to include that capability.

I've found it extremely easy to use, it comes with powerful features and their customer service has been consistently excellent.

Any problems I've run into were mostly in the past and there haven't been many recent issues.

One thing I really appreciate is how simple it is to estimate wall tile and the way the tool highlights each specific wall inside every room where tile is used makes my installers' job noticeably simpler.

I often struggle when trying to split areas, particularly if I'm laying a pattern on top of other materials. It's possible but the divider can be temperamental. I sometimes have to nudge it into exactly the right spot to get it to stick to a wall, otherwise it refuses to 'attach.'

About six months ago we switched from another takeoff program and the change was much smoother and almost effortless. Thanks to the training sessions and the large collection of YouTube tutorials, any question we ran into about which tool to use or how to do something was typically resolved within about 15 minutes.

Since I came from a different takeoff software, the toughest part for me was learning where all the buttons were and what each one did. It felt a bit confusing at first but after a few projects that irritation went away and it stopped being an issue.

I appreciate that the software lets me adjust estimates to specific jobs, since I can input the materials, material costs, labor costs, taxes and all other items required

I notice some features are missing. When I set a base material, I can't attach grout or adhesive to that base which limits how I build accurate estimates

I like the variety of drawing tools and how many different ways I can demonstrate products in actual use.

Annoyed by the pop-ups that keep saying the flash coving won't estimate.

It took me roughly three weeks to become comfortable with this software. I'd never used any estimating program before, yet it was simple to pick up. I started with very limited computer skills while learning this program.

I find MeasureSquare to be an excellent program overall but I'd really like to see an update that supports multiple sizes of flash cove.
