Procore User

Pros

Navigating and sorting items is effortless. Sending large files to subcontractors is hassle-free. All items are dated and easy to search for. Drawing review and mark-ups are also straightforward.

Cons

Procore Drive does not update automatically. The iPad app also does not update drawings unless you press "sync" which should ideally occur automatically.

Pro and cons review

Pros

Procore streamlines all my project controls as a project manager significantly easing my workload.

Cons

The mobile app has limited access to certain tools. I have been informed that certain features are unavailable but when accessing the web app I can easily access them. It is unclear why those features are not available on mobile.

Technology meets Old School

Pros

Procore brings together all my old-school programs documents and efforts in one platform. It encompasses daily logs document control plans RFIs and submittals providing a centralized location for both office and field staff.

Cons

My only concern with Procore has been keeping up with their continuous improvements. They actively listen to their customers and implement those enhancements.

Procore is the best

Pros

In my twenty years of experience in construction Procore is the only software that combines all the necessary functions to manage a project in one place. It handles document control RFIs budgeting scheduling and communication. Procore does it all.

Cons

Without additional software it lacks BIM capability or the ability to read and utilize IFC files. While I understand the limitations with BIM it is crucial for us to be able to upload and view 3D files.

Full Scale Project Management

Pros

The ability to oversee a project from start to finish makes this software product incredible.

Cons

The software was primarily marketed to GC-type companies which makes it intimidating for most subcontractors to use and this is a downside.

Great Solution

Pros

The fact that it's a SaaS solution ensures that the office and field teams are on the same page. Having a single source for all documentation is crucial to us and allows us to document every aspect of our project.

Cons

The biggest drawback is that when the system does go down although it rarely happens it completely halts operations.

Glad to have it

Pros

Complete organization. As a QC Manager responsible for multiple job sites I can now track all issues with just a click of my mouse. I can monitor the progress of all my jobs with daily photos. The observation tools allow me to track responses from subcontractors.

Cons

Some minor issues include having to download photos to view them in responses and some documents. Additionally when using observations and navigating back pressing the backspace key takes you to the top of the list instead of returning to your previous position.
