Amazing drawing comparison tool

Pros

When I'm out in the field, the drawing comparison feature lets me immediately spot what's changed without having to toggle back and forth between multiple drawings.

Cons

I find some of the tools a bit awkward to use. I'd prefer a more organized set of services though overall I still think it's an excellent product.

Keeps our logistics consolidated in one place

Pros

Really appreciate how easy it is to get to Drawings, Reports and the Directory. I like that this platform lets us consolidate all of our logistics in one place.

Cons

Nothing to report right now. Up to this point, it has met every requirement we've had. Down the road, I'd probably make more use of the scheduling features.

Pros

Having the drawings right at my fingertips while I'm out on the job means I can give my subcontractors quick answers without delay.

Cons

I haven't run into anything I dislike about Procore so far. I find myself appreciating every tool it makes available to me.

Pros

I've found this program really great after I push through the initial learning curve. Once I'm comfortable using it, my workflow becomes noticeably easier and I end up far more productive.

Cons

The software felt really tough in the beginning and I had to overcome a steep learning curve. Once I did, everything became easier and my productivity noticeably improved.

They keep making changes

Pros

I use this to distribute drawings, get unlimited storage, simplify workflows and communicate.

Cons

Honestly I'm frustrated they constantly change things without any warning or follow-up release notes, leaving me unable to fully understand what the new or modified features actually do and why.

Pros

It has really organized the way I handle documents by putting everything in one central spot making it much easier to access files and dramatically reducing the need to print and store physical paperwork that I used to keep up with.

Cons

We could really benefit from having more required, customizable templates adjusted to the specific forms we rely on in our daily operations which would help standardize workflows and save time on repetitive tasks.

Digitized my workflow

Pros

I've always had awful handwriting but I'm much more comfortable using a keyboard. Since almost every aspect of my work lives in Procore, the paperwork parts of my role get done faster and with less effort

Cons

For tasks like downloads, printing and photos, the workflow demands too many keystrokes. I often have to export, download, jump to another screen and repeat the whole sequence.

Pros

Everything about this tool works for me! I find it incredibly handy and it simplifies my daily tasks into something effortless. I also appreciate that it offers certifications.

Cons

Fan of the submittal tracking tools

Pros

I'm a big fan of the submittal tracking tools because they help keep both me and our subcontractors on schedule and I can generate the ball-in-court report to get a clear snapshot instantly.

Cons

Not everyone on our team has bought in. I find most subs treat it like extra work and resist learning the system which is really frustrating.

We can send information out to our field crew rapidly and without hassle, keep everyone current on submittals and RFIs and easily assign meeting minute tasks to members of the project team.

Cons

I work with many older field employees who struggle to embrace new tech so they rarely use the tool's features fully and we don't get the maximum benefit from it.

really simple graphical interface

Pros

I find the graphical interface really simple. Because it's so user-friendly, my team can concentrate on actual production instead of getting bogged down in procedures. Keep up the great work.

Cons

As someone from a smaller firm, I'm finding the price a bit steep. I wish Procore would do more to accommodate smaller companies, perhaps by offering a lighter, "lite" edition.

Pros

What I value most are the everyday tools that help keep the whole team organized and moving forward. I like that every piece of project data is stored organized and accessible from a single location.

Useful automatic reminders

Pros

Coordinating with the subtrades has become much easier. Unlike emails that can be forgotten, I really value that automatic reminders are sent to anyone with pending items, it's a huge help and genuinely promotes teamwork.

Cons

Some parts aren't fully tailored to the Canadian market for example, the cost section could use some fine-tuning to better fit how we handle costs here in Quebec.

Well organized interface

Pros

The interface is well organized, there's a live chat feature and I can save and access everything so the entire project team and staff can see it.

Cons

So far I haven't seen many negatives. I understand the software is still evolving but updates typically roll out during off-hours or on days when I'm not actively using the platform which means I often miss seeing the changes in real time.

Pros

I've found the submittal workflow really helpful because it lets me submit procedures that need to be established which organizes the whole process and makes our work much more efficient.

Cons

Because my company operates several different offices nationwide, I rely on the directory to break down large, country-wide subcontractor lists by region which makes locating local subs a lot more manageable for me.

Easy to assign tasks

Pros

Using this platform makes assigning and finishing tasks incredibly easy, while letting me track all submittals, RFIs and similar items easily. I really appreciate having a clear sense of what I must do and being able to communicate clearly to others what I expect them to handle.

Cons

Don't have any real complaints but I do find it odd that this field forces you to enter at least 100 characters.

Cons

There are some development hiccups that should be fixed. Id like more options for user customization and right now the overdue reminders are sent to everyone at 3am MT every day something that seems simple enough to change.

simplicity stands out

Pros

Using the mobile apps is very simple when I'm relaying information from the field back to the office and honestly I consider that simplicity to be its strongest standout feature.

Cons

Would love to see better video storage added soon, having native video archiving and maybe an option to pull footage directly from a GoPro would make the app far more useful for my workflow.
