“Keeps everyone aligned
Pros
From what I've seen, it keeps everyone aligned. Project managers, consultants, on-site crews and subcontractors all stay on the same page throughout.
Cons
I find the platform steep to learn and it feels overly restrictive in many areas. For instance, removing users from the directory is way too complex and changing trade designation options is also unnecessarily difficult.

“critical for my construction project
Pros
It was indispensable for keeping my construction project organized since it gave subcontractors a single place to review and manage consolidated documents.
Cons
Financial features need improvement and more customizable options because every project's way of tracking finances varies a bit.

“makes for transparent collaboration
Pros
I find the software user-friendly and that it really boosts productivity while making collaboration more transparent between stakeholders. Having easy access to project details matters and Procore makes that much simpler.
Cons
I've noticed that uploading drawings and keeping the daily log current can be pretty slow at times. I've frequently run into lag or even had entries disappear from the daily logs.

“Our first construction management software
Pros
never used any construction-focused software before and this one lets me keep all project information centralized in one spot so we don't misplace documents anymore.
Cons
Because the platform keeps evolving, new newsletters arrive frequently. However I feel that the best way for me and my team to fully grasp it's features would be more hands-on training, such as additional workshops run by the Procore implementation experts.

“Keeps track of documents
Pros
I can track every document and piece of communication and I have a single central place to store all purchasing and contractor information
Cons
At times a few of the tools seem slightly complicated and I still find myself receiving far too many emails due to mistakes.

“makes documents accessible
Pros
Love how user-friendly it is and that I can access it from anywhere with an internet connection. My whole project team now has access to every document at any time.
Cons
Lately I've found the Procore website becomes overloaded far too often and prevents access when that happens. It seems to regularly occur during EST afternoons.

“Saves tons of time
Pros
It organizes every part of the construction management process, saves me a ton of time and really simplifies how we communicate.
Cons
It took me a while to get familiar with some of the features since they're not very user-friendly but I don't have any other complaints worth mentioning.

“Too many notifications
Pros
This tool displays most of the things I need and I like that it organizes my different jobs into separate sections so nothing gets lumped together.
Cons
One downside for me is the sheer number of notifications it sends. I receive alerts even when some aren't necessary and occasionally I stop working on a job but continue getting updates about it until the job is completely finished.

“Improves accuracy
Pros
This product improves accuracy and helps me keep drawings, submittals, RFIs up-to-date.
Cons
Certain features aren't as convenient as other parts of the product which I notice and I'd appreciate seeing more useful customization options added to the custom report tool.

“Loads of tutorial videos
Pros
I'm a fan of the product, it has loads of tutorial videos that help me learn many of Procore's tools
Cons
Before I discovered the tutorial videos I struggled to make full use of it but after I completed the training I found it far easier to operate than before.

“Tracks submittals and payments
Pros
I find it really easy to use and it keeps my files organized. It's great for tracking everything from submittals to payments and for integrating with other tools.
Cons
There are many parts I'm not familiar with and I've found it challenging to get our company and partner agencies to adopt every module of the software.

“consolidates everything
Pros
Consolidates everything you need into a single place. It really helps keep my team organized and has noticeably improved the way we manage our projects.
Cons
One drawback I've run into is that it requires a fairly strong internet connection for tasks to run smoothly and quickly which is fairly common but can be frustrating at times.

“Allows everyone to view their status
Pros
It gets our whole team aligned on submittals and lets everyone at the company view their status instantly in real time.
Cons
The biggest challenge has been persuading subcontractors to adopt the tool and ensuring they file submittals correctly instead of setting up their own separate systems.

“Provides customized reports
Pros
I find the user interface incredible. My daily interactions and customized reports are smooth and I have solid project management control. The way photos and documents are handled feels unmatched.
Cons
Personally, when I export certain reports they come out only as PDFs even though I need them in Excel format which is frustrating. Also, I noticed they lack integrations that work with HeavyJob or JD Edwards so I can't connect those systems.

“Runs smoothly across devices
Pros
We really appreciate being able to switch back and forth between the mobile app and the web page on our computer because it gives us the flexibility to complete work in many different ways.
Cons
I sometimes find that text gets truncated in the mobile app making it impossible for me to read the full intended message or content.

“can access current drawings
Pros
The Drawings tab makes it easy for everyone to access the most up-to-date drawings and I really appreciate that visibility. I also find the RFI and submittal tools user-friendly and simple to use.
Cons
I wish the observation tool were more customizable because as a non-admin I often can't edit the items I've added and that limitation can be frustrating.

“everyone became a fan
Pros
It covers all our construction and project management requirements and organizes workflows across our teams. Prior to adopting it, we juggled multiple standalone software tools. Some integrated well, others didn't play nicely together and caused extra work. It manages everything from submittals and finances to field-related tasks and site coordination. The app performs reliably and lets us return to the hands-on building work we enjoy.
Cons
It took quite a while to migrate all of our information into the system. Convincing the team to adopt the platform also required some patience but after we began using it people quickly turned into advocates for it.

I do find the different terminology used in Australia compared with the US a little confusing at times.

“Keeps everyone on the same page
Pros
What I appreciate most is the cloud-based platform and I really value being able to work together with every stakeholder who will participate in the project, keeping everyone connected and on the same page.
Cons
My least favorite aspect is how the service is priced. The fee structure ties costs to the amount of revenue that flows through the platform which ends up making it more expensive than many similar providers and pushes the product's price above the market average.

“Stores all project data
Pros
I rely on this to keep everything neatly organized. It's a single place for all project data and I can reach it from virtually anywhere on almost any device.
Cons
When it comes to drawbacks I've experienced a steep, drawn-out learning curve and overly granular requirements. Occasionally updates will alter features drastically just after I've finally learned the new workflow.
