Major time saver

Pros

As a project assistant, it saves me a huge amount of time and is very user-friendly. The brief tutorials come in handy when I need a quick refresher or want to see how another trade or discipline uses Procore.

Cons

With all the added features it has gotten a bit tangled and harder to use. There's almost too much information now which leaves me spending extra time trying to figure out and filter what parts really work best for a smaller company like ours.

Incredible drawing tool

Pros

I find the drawing tool to be outstanding. I can upload drawing revisions, have them processed organized and shared with ease, efficiency and accuracy. The Publish/Do Not Publish toggle gives me precise control over what gets shared as revisions move through pricing stages. The UI is by far the best of any system I've used.

Cons

Both the iOS and Android apps are really strong, packed with features and solid functionality. After switching from iPads to Windows-based tablets, I've noticed the Windows app falls well behind those two in both capabilities and features. It's making progress but from where I'm standing it still has a considerable way to go before it reaches parity.

Keeps improving

Pros

I love that I can open Procore from multiple devices wherever I am at any time and I appreciate that the platform keeps rolling out updates and improvements.

Cons

On my iPad it feels a bit sluggish to use and I'd like to see faster app performance so I can access everything more quickly.

Selp-explanatory software

Pros

I'm impressed by how easy the platform is to use and how simple it is to teach someone else, it practically explains itself. It includes all the necessary tools to keep a project running smoothly and I consistently get quick, helpful responses from the "help" tool.

Cons

There's a frustrating issue with bulk editing. In some tools it's either unavailable or it just doesn't work. Also, I find the frequent maintenance periods disruptive because they often take Procore offline.

Stores all the data I need

Pros

This app has become a single place where I can find every piece of information I might ever need about a job. I appreciate that it tracks job progress and stores photos which really helps people like me who may never get to see the project during construction.

Cons

I have so many projects running through Procore. While I do think the platform does a great job organizing them, I'd like the option to permanently remove or archive projects once they're finished so they don't clutter up my dashboard anymore.

Works perfectly for me

Pros

Honestly everything about this software works well and I really like it because it simplifies tasks for me and my team. We can communicate smoothly.

Cons

Don't find any problems with the software. The portion of it that I used meets my needs and is acceptable for me and my team.

The best software out there

Pros

Having tried several other platforms, I can say Procore is by far the best. The interface feels very clean and the whole software is genuinely user friendly.

Cons

I only wish the export options for reports were a bit more powerful because stronger report exports would make it easier for me to keep everything simple.

Keeps record of a project's history

Pros

I appreciate being able to keep a complete record of a project's history along with every piece of correspondence all in a single, archivable location.

Cons

For some simple projects I find it almost unnecessarily sophisticated and it asks for a lot of input even for small, minor tasks.

Amazing support

Pros

I've experienced world-class customer support here. Their built-in training materials are outstanding and the overall functionality truly has no equal.

Cons

Several of my colleagues and I have struggled to become proficient with every tool. The platform evolves so quickly that staying current can be a real challenge.

Tracks construction processes

Pros

Its an easy-to-use solution for tracking construction processes across multiple sites. It really makes my life easier.

Cons

Sometimes I find the interface confusing and integrating it with QuickBooks can be frustrating. I do believe that's more due to QuickBooks' limitations than Procore itself.

Project management made simple

Pros

I find it user-friendly and it makes managing every aspect of a project much easier. I especially appreciate it when the owner and the design team are actively involved since it keeps everyone coordinated.

Cons

I often struggle to convince some subcontractors to use it because many of them are unwilling to spend the time required to learn the system and that resistance can leave holes in communication and workflow.

They value customer feedback

Pros

It is the most flexible, configurable and all-encompassing construction management platform out there in the industry. Beyond continually refining its features, the company actually hears those of us who use it by addressing the most urgent user requirements. It is fast, simple to use and, overall, a truly top-notch piece of software.

Cons

My only issue with it is the limited number of options for creating a clear Project Charter or detailed Project Map that fully lays out every objective and requirement a complex project will have to accomplish during each particular phase of work.

All in one solution

Pros

This software is incredibly user-friendly. There are numerous support choices available so I can pick the level of help I want. It lets me control how much I learn and how deeply I use the platform. Being able to communicate with the whole team inside it keeps everything organized and stored with the project. I also appreciate that it genuinely serves as a single, all-in-one solution.

Cons

When the specs get updated, I find it difficult to create new submittals after the submittal manager has already been used.

Most important tool in my toolkit

Pros

I really like that it offers a cloud-based platform where my team and I can store every file and detail for a project in one place. When it's used properly, it quickly becomes the single most essential tool driving the project forward.

Cons

Occasionally certain features don't work exactly as they should but support team has been very helpful whenever I ask for assistance. I've even received follow-up emails letting me know they made changes to specific features I reported which I appreciate.

Organizes daily meeting notes and photos

Pros

What I appreciate is how simple it makes organizing all my daily meeting notes and photos within a single app. I also find it really convenient that I can share those meeting minutes directly with other Procore users, simplifying communication across the team.

Cons

I don't really have major complaints, other than encountering a few glitches in Procore whenever I create Purchase Orders or log Change Events that interrupt my workflow.

Responsive live chat helpline

Pros

I've found the customer service, comprehensive features and easy-to-use interface, along with the safety and budgeting tools and the responsive live chat help line, to be what really sets it apart.

Cons

I'd like the daily blog area to offer much more granular permission settings so I can exercise finer control over who can view specific posts and sensitive content across the project.

Flexible tool

Pros

Its really approachable for anyone and it's extremely user-friendly. I can adjust how I use the software to suit my workflow and it's flexible enough to work the way I prefer.

Cons

There's a lot to absorb with this platform. Every time I dive in, I encounter another feature or detail to figure out. I get that everyone wants to stay informed but it can feel overwhelming sometimes.

Solid collaboration features

Pros

The collaboration features are solid, it integrates with our ERP smoothly, gets frequent updates that add useful functionality and the support team is very responsive.

Cons

You need proper training to use it because the system has quite a bit of complexity and a few of the recently added features feel like they could be refined and made more user-friendly.

User-friendly interface

Pros

I really appreciate the well organized interface and the ability to broadcast information easily to the contractor, architects, owner and anyone else we authorize.

Cons

For my part there's nothing I dislike. Procore really knocked it out of the park across every feature and being user-friendly is what matters most to me.

Simple to track and share info

Pros

It makes tracking, storing and sharing information far simpler than traditional methods and I genuinely think their customer support is outstanding!

Cons

Our accounting department could really use more integrated accounting features so the platform better fits our finance team's needs. Right now they rely on ECMS so we end up switching between the two systems for accounting matters.
