Hands on use of Service Fusion

Pros

I like that we can sync a lot of stuff into QuickBooks. I know more can be done, but I've only been here a year, so I'm working on more critical things and hope to learn more later.

Cons

There is inconsistency in syncing invoices and payments so that they match up.

Pros

I appreciate having a dispatch screen and calendar view, seeing each visit, and being able to assign multiple techs.

Cons

Invoicing can be complicated when you switch to progress billing. The app is not the most functional to use.

Pros

I really value how seamlessly the invoicing integrates with QuickBooks Online. This smooth integration makes it incredibly convenient to manage our finances, ensuring that all our invoicing data is automatically synced. Cons

Service Fusion - Reliable - great for small businesses

Pros

It's simple to use. The dispatch grid is great. Job costing is easy.

Cons

The bookkeeping side is lacking. There are no statements, and POs do not flood into expenses.

Very easy to use and the support is second to none

Pros

It was a user-friendly platform to get up and running. The mobile and cloud functions are such great features used by our staff.

Cons

The employee access setup is a little cumbersome, but once you get the feel for it, it becomes easier to understand the layout.

Pros

EVERYTHING!!! CUSTOMER SINCE OCTOBER 2019! Service Fusion has taken us to a whole new level in managing our team. They provide great customer support. They have included us in product development and are always looking for better ways to improve their product.

Cons

The way the customer list is set up is not ideal.

Pros

We went from pen and paper and using outdated software, so most things are better.

Cons

When bugs are found, it takes a long time to have them corrected. Features being added are very limited, and it also appears that the developers do not take recommendations into account.

I prefer "do" over "did." Service Fusion stands out for its user-friendly interface.

Cons

One thing that I dislike is the inability to return to the previous screen easily as everything resets. Defaulting to the dispatched status instead of scheduled when creating a job is inconvenient. Printing estimates as PDFs to fit on one page is a hassle. The system can be slow, especially when using the search feature.

Field Service Management

Pros

Service Fusion initially met all my field service management needs. Managing work orders, scheduling jobs, and inventory across vehicles became simpler with this software.

Cons

My main complaint with Service Fusion is the reporting functionality. Customizing reports with the desired information is challenging and formatting them to my preference is not as simple as I preferred. I hope for more improvements in this area.

Well organized interface

Pros

The interface is well organized and makes my daily work much smoother. Whenever I run into issues, support is always there to help and they resolve things fast.

Cons

The main thing that bugs me is how it opens a fresh window every time I check a job. Since I'm using this constantly throughout the day, I end up with like 50 tabs open before I realize it.

Handles everything for us!

Pros

I really appreciate how it handles everything from field service management to invoicing and customer tracking all in one place. Our field team absolutely loves how user-friendly the interface is. What really stands out is how it's made our field operations completely paperless while boosting efficiency with its automation features.

Cons

I can't really think of anything negative right now. The support team is helpful and responds quickly when I need assistance.

Great Platform- Documents could be easier, but overall, great!

Pros

It consolidates everything in one place, though it has some quirks, overall it's excellent.

Cons

Setting up and formatting documents is difficult, especially with limited space for a lot of information. Full-page photos cannot be included in any document.

Best CRM we've used to date.

Pros

The price and functionality combination convinced us. Service Fusion's CRM with automated customer messaging was a crucial feature for us.

Cons

While there are customization limitations, we have found workarounds. The payment processor is functional but not the best. The mobile app functions adequately but requires a stable internet connection.
