scheduling made effortless

Pros

Compared with other software I've used, this platform makes scheduling jobs feel much more simple. You can add any task and service right from the job screen which is really convenient. I'm very happy using it.

Cons

I haven't run into any real problems with the app up to this point but the interface could be better optimized for smaller handheld devices.

Easy to create invoices

Pros

Creating invoices is simple and sending out billing is easy as well.

Cons

Billing doesn't generate automatically and the reporting features feel somewhat limited.

overpriced!!

Pros

The interface looked decent but getting around the system felt tedious and the pricing was too high for a small startup.

Cons

After buying a business that was already using Service Fusion, we were looking forward to getting started. Instead of being welcomed and guided through the platform, the first thing we got was a request for a credit card. It was disappointing not to have someone set up a call and walk us through everything. Support did send quick auto-responses but the information they provided was irrelevant and not actually helpful.

Solid workflow

Pros

The workflow from estimates all the way through dispatched jobs is really solid and keeps everything connected nicely.

Cons

One frustration is how slowly feature requests make it into the actual product. It used to be much better when we first started using Service Fusion. At this point, I've pretty much stopped submitting requests and just work with the system as it is.

all-in-one system

Pros

It's really helpful having one place where I can create estimates, turn them into jobs, handle dispatching, stay in touch with customers and send invoices all within the same system.

Cons

The invoicing workflow still feels like it could be improved.

Incredible job tracking

Pros

Keeping tabs on every stage of a job all the way through completion has been really useful especially with the built-in ability to stay in contact with the customer. One thing I'd still want is the option to remove fields we never use, the way other CRM platforms allow.

Cons

There are times when we're dealing with a distributor, a customer and a parent account all at once and fitting all of that into the current setup can be tricky. We usually end up using a location nickname just to capture the extra details. Having an additional field or at least the option to rename one of the unused fields, would make that much more practical.

easy to add multiple customers

Pros

Adding multiple customers is very simple and the process feels smooth. The platform is laid out in such a simple way that pretty much everyone in the office can pick it up and understand how to use it without much trouble.

Cons

improved speed in the app would make it better and I think a refreshed design would also be a welcome upgrade.

Satisfied with it

Pros

Switching from my old clunky software, the scheduling tools here have been a big upgrade. Moving jobs around on the dispatch page with drag-and-drop is very convenient and adding service dates directly from the job screen is just as simple. Invoicing is also easy to work with and fully customizable based on what you need. Overall I'm very happy with it.

Cons

Scheduling is definitely one of the better parts of the system but the multiple-day feature could still use some work, along with the option to add extra site visits. It would be much better if I could choose the specific return dates for the tech instead of being limited to selecting only one day at a time.

Gives a clear view of weekly schedule

Pros

We spend about 90% of the day in the weekly grid view and that's really where this software shines. It gives us a clear look at the entire week's schedule for all of our cleaners at once so staying organized is much easier. Making changes, adding appointments or moving clients around is quick and hassle-free.

Cons

connection to financial software like QuickBooks feels unreliable which is why I haven't linked them. I've seen other users mention the same issue as well. The API connections to credit card processors seem to have similar problems.

Well-rounded tool

Pros

Having scheduling, estimating, hour tracking for calls and technicians, plus labor and receipt tracking all in one place has been really useful. It covers a little bit of every part of the HVAC business which makes it a well-rounded tool for this kind of work.

Cons

I can't rearrange expenses after they've already been uploaded into a call. Also, when a customer is past due, the system won't let us send updated invoices with late fees automatically so we end up having to handle each customer manually.

covers a wide range of operational needs

Pros

There are a lot of features for keeping up with the day-to-day details, including fleet maintenance, inventory, employee time clocks and invoicing. It covers a wide range of operational needs in one place which is really helpful.

Cons

it has had some trouble integrating with QuickBooks Online. At year-end, my accountant changed a few of the cost codes it had created and that caused a lot of invoices and payments to basically disappear into nowhere.

Packed with useful features

Pros

Right from the start, it felt very user friendly. It also does a really good job of creating a clear paper trail which helps protect the business, the user and the customer. There are so many built-in features included that we honestly haven't even started using all of them yet.

Cons

The mobile side isn't usable when there's little to no coverage. We've also run into some connectivity problems during peak hours.

Fast workflow

Pros

Helpful automation tools

Pros

From daily scheduling to wrapping up work orders, it makes the process feel very efficient. The automation tools are helpful, the job dashboard and estimate dashboard are well organized and creating and closing out jobs is simple.

Cons

I'd still want more flexibility when it comes to customizing the automation options.

feature-rich software with fantastic support

Pros

This tool felt like a strong value because it includes so many features that other platforms usually charge extra for. The dispatch tools are excellent, the customer records let you add a lot of useful detail and having QuickBooks integration plus custom templates in the package is a big advantage. Their support team has also been fantastic. Whenever I have a question, I get a response very quickly. One of the biggest benefits is the pricing, you really get a lot for a simple cost.

Cons

Out in the field, the app can sometimes be a little harder to use and slower download speeds make it more difficult to work efficiently. The mobile functionality could also be a bit more simplified especially since it can be tougher for older technicians to understand and get comfortable with.

Powerful scheduling and invoicing

Pros

Running jobs is much more organized with this software since we can schedule work, switch between calendar and dispatch views and stay on top of estimates and invoicing all in one place.

Cons

Would like to see more customization on the job detail screen so it better fits the information we need. It would also help to set default views for which columns are shown and how many rows appear, both on desktop and in the mobile app.

amazing universal search feature

Pros

I really appreciate the universal search feature, along with the very low credit card processing charges. The GPS overlay is also a helpful addition.

Cons

invoices are generated when the job is completed and there's no way to create a statement.
