Top choice for customer management

Pros

It tracks trade usage and makes customer management so much more simple. It's definitely been the right fit for what we needed.

Cons

Even when we try to upgrade from a lower to higher plan, it doesn't factor in what we've already paid so upgrading mid-cycle isn't worth it. Better to wait until your current plan expires before getting a new one.

Pros

Covers everything needed for commercial trades. The HVAC and plumbing features are particularly helpful for my business operations.

Cons

The upgrade process is frustrating because they don't offer any discounts or price adjustments for existing customers when moving to a higher plan

User-friendly overall

Pros

It's pretty simple to get around and I'd say it's fairly user-friendly overall. Their customer service team has been there for me whenever I've reached out.

Cons

Bit hard to understand and I'm still figuring things out, though customer support has been helpful during this process.

Flexible features

Pros

From my experience, it's pretty easy to use. What I appreciate most is how adaptable the features are across different devices whether I'm using my phone, tablet or computer.

Cons

The reporting features aren't great for our finance and accounting folks. The reports are pretty clunky and we end up having to massage the data multiple times to get what we need.

Great value for money

Pros

Creating invoices and sending payment reminders couldn't be simpler. For the price point, you're getting exceptional value. Implementation was smooth and integration with our existing systems went without a hitch.

Cons

The software doesn't get updated regularly enough to keep up with how fast business changes these days.

Saves time and effort

Pros

Really nice how it automates things like task scheduling and dispatching, saves so much time and cuts down on human error. The scalability is great too, plus I can access it from anywhere. Customer support has been solid as well.

Cons

Setup process can be pretty challenging for newcomers and honestly the pricing feels high compared to what other options are charging in the market.

Cuts down on human errors

Pros

Creating estimates and invoices has become much more accurate and I really appreciate how everything syncs up perfectly with customer profiles with way fewer mistakes now.

Bad customer service - Lag Issues

Pros

The calendar display is visually appealing and integrates well with QuickBooks Desktop.

Cons

Lag issues continue, coupled with poor customer service. A sudden 45% price increase without prior notice was unacceptable.

Needs some improvements

Pros

The features are really solid and include most of the modern functionality you'd expect from today's software.

Cons

The inventory features and reporting system feel like they need polishing. Reports really need more flexibility both in what data you can include and how you can customize them. Basic things like line numbering and dense outputs (similar to Excel spreadsheets) are must-haves for equipment tracking but they're just not available right now. Data importing is also complex and we're still dealing with issues that popped up after our initial import.

Worst HVAC software of all time

Pros

Nothing good. They are dishonest and deceptive. False promises abound, a dishonest business practice.

Cons

With over 20 years in the HVAC industry, I have used various platforms. Service Fusion stands out as the worst and most dishonest. False promises and integrations led to significant financial losses and wasted time.

Don't try this for real estate!

Pros

The staff is friendly, but they sometimes make false promises.

Cons

Initially, we were promised that the system would meet our needs, but after signing up it fell short. The lack of prorated refunds despite the system not working as expected was disappointing.

Pros

Scheduling and project management features show promise, but the company's lack of honesty is disappointing.

Cons

Syncing to only one income account in QuickBooks poses challenges for multiple income accounts, contrary to what was assured during the sales pitch.

Weak onboarding and training

Pros

It is fairly simple for the most part especially if you already know your way around dispatching software. Setting up employee or technician profiles, along with customer profiles, is also pretty simple.

Cons

The biggest frustration was the training and integration process on their side. You're basically left to teach yourself by watching videos in the portal which really isn't ideal for a small business that doesn't have a separate team to train technicians on new software. After signing the contract, we would have preferred a more hands-on training option. The software itself isn't bad though, it feels comparable to other platforms like FieldEdge and similar tools.

Mobile screen layout issues

Pros

being able to charge for a job without having to create an invoice first is really useful.

Cons

I mostly use it on my phone even for the desktop version and that's where I keep running into problems. When a message pops up, the "x" button to close it doesn't fit on the screen so I get stuck and can't continue using it especially when it's something like a review message. I also can't log out because the icon I need to tap is cut off and doesn't fit on the screen either which means I can't get into my account settings from my mobile device.

all info in one place

Pros

Having all of our information together in one system has been really helpful. Things like work orders, inventory, invoicing and everything else are all in one place which makes it much easier to keep track of daily operations.

Cons

The warehouse inventory side could definitely be improved and the invoicing features could use some work as well.

Broad set of tools

Pros

It comes with a broad set of tools that has really helped with scheduling, invoicing and managing inventory. The dispatch functionality has been especially useful in my day-to-day work and the customer service team is honestly among the best I've dealt with.

Cons

Overall it has been very useful. The one change I'd suggest is more affordable pricing since it's not really practical for small startups. The automated support responses could also be improved in terms of quality.
