“automation feels too limited”
Pros
Automation is there but it honestly isn't enough to justify keeping my membership especially given how little you get overall.
Cons
It comes off as really limited. Infusionsoft by Keap feels like a much stronger option. If I'm going to pay a lot for something that delivers so little, I'd rather stick with free Mailchimp.

“Very easy to use”
Pros
Interface feels easy to use and accessible right from the start.
Cons
Sending emails on behalf of clients was pretty difficult. Also, it wasn't simple to add a "send from" email address from a different domain than the one used for my login.

“fast contact management”
Pros
I started using ActiveCampaign and quickly noticed it runs fast and feels secure, with a solid internal user management system. It's a really nice find. The platform feels genuinely complete, packed with lots of features and it integrates really well with other services one of my favorite parts is the contact management. When contacts are organized properly, it turns into a truly complete and practical system. I'm also impressed with how well lists and campaigns are handled; everything there feels well thought out.
Cons
Other than the price which is pretty high, I haven't come across any major downsides with the software.

“user friendly CRM”
Pros
This platform has been a solid win for us. The CRM feels really user friendly and the follow up automations are genuinely impressive. With the built in add ins (made for this kind of workflow), it can send automated emails, including bulk campaigns, without much difficulty. Since I'm into digital marketing, it's helped me stay organized without relying on extra paper or outdated Excel style processes. I'd recommend it for just about any business since it's quite flexible and can be customized to match different goals. Managing contacts, marketing reporting and analytics, sales automation and A/B testing are all standout features.
Cons
Over the last few years, it seems to lean more toward live/real time behavior tracking and building more complex automation flows. The Gmail widget is still fantastic overall but I'd like to see more attention on features that simplify contact and lead management especially things like adding follow up tasks directly.

Pros
Automation features included with this are a big win for me. The pricing also feels really reasonable for small businesses so it's not a stretch to fit it into our budget.

“Custom fields help keep everything organized”
Pros
The amount of custom fields and automation it offers is honestly phenomenal. We wouldn't have been able to keep our lead database organized and updated without it.
Cons
Occasionally, the advanced search acts a little unreliable so it can be frustrating when you're trying to find specific records.

“easy to use marketing platform”
Pros
One standout part of this marketing app for me is the user friendly interface. The layout feels simple to move around in so even beginners can pick it up quickly.

“campaigns are simple to plan”
Pros
Since the tool bundles a bunch of features into one place, it's really convenient for marketing and sales but it also covers office management tasks. Contacts are kept nicely organized and you can assign them to lists and tags. Deals are helpful for sorting and structuring leads, while the automations are genuinely very useful. It's also easy to plan campaigns directly through the platform.
Cons
Creating a double opt in was a bit awkward at first especially because the support couldn't really help much. In the end I managed to get it working via a simpler route but figuring that out took some extra effort. Other than that, there's nothing I'd complain about.

“solid email marketing”
Pros
Email marketing is a big win here especially the way ActiveCampaign lets you monitor different marketing campaigns across multiple platforms. It also makes managing our construction project databases as well as reporting simple. The content building system is solid too which speeds up getting campaigns ready.
Cons

“Contact cap is limiting”
Pros
I really like how it handles email and CRM management. The features make it easy to manage communication and keep customer info organized in one place.
Cons
Contact limit feels a bit tight. It would be better if the cap were higher across all the packages so scaling up doesn't require switching plans right away.

“You can make unlimited lists”
Pros
One of the reasons I chose this software is that I can create lists without limitations, plus the segmentation features are really detailed and flexible.
Cons
The campaign editor is something that could use improvement. Adding different blocks like placing images in the middle of paragraphs takes a lot of time and slows down my work.

“packed with features”
Pros
Packed with useful features without feeling buggy and there's no hard limit on the number of campaigns you can run. I also like how it helps prevent opens and clicks from getting stuck in the spam folder, plus there's a map view showing where subscribers are opening from. Pricing feels fair and competitive compared to other platforms and the whole design/build experience is enjoyable. Conditional elements are handled intelligently too: certain blocks disappear on mobile recipients while others show up based on conditions like subscriber history. The marketing automation is a standout especially with options like RSS based automations, A/B testing and scheduling.
Cons
Usability could be better. It doesn't come across as particularly user friendly. Also, the full, guided walkthrough is only included for Plus customers at no extra cost, while everyone else has to pay for that level of onboarding.
