“affordable email sequencing”
Pros
Price is the biggest win for me depending on what you choose, it can be low cost or even free. The plans are subscriber based which feels fair and the unlimited email plus unlimited sequencing lets me keep scaling my list without hitting limits. It also covers the core stuff I need: drag and drop campaign creation, lead scoring event tracking, automated campaigns and A/B testing. I especially liked the Google Analytics integration and I'd suggest enabling/adding that as a default option during setup.
Cons
Setting up auto responders could be simpler. Support is limited to chat and there's no phone number to call even during regular business hours. This caught me by surprise after I'd already signed up so it was pretty frustrating. The dashboard also feels confusing and cluttered. I'd rather see the key features grouped into a single section or cleaner menu so everything doesn't feel scattered.

“quick funnel designing”
Pros
This has become my go to email marketing tool thanks to its strong automation features. I enjoy how quickly I can build and design funnels to improve lead conversion. Segmentation is flexible and the UX stays pretty simple so managing campaigns doesn't turn into a headache. Database uploads are fast and the reporting is detailed enough that I can monitor performance in real time. A/B testing options are genuinely useful and the webinars have helped me get more value out of the platform over time. Overall, it feels like a user friendly solution that consistently delivers strong results.
Cons
Learning curve showed up at first. There's a bit of confusion around how "lists" differ from "contacts" when setting up segmentation. Basic integrations run smoothly but getting the most out of everything seems to call for extra spending. The email editor feels dated compared to the rest of the toolkit. CRM integration also needs refinement, particularly around correctly reflecting scoring behavior. More advanced triggers and a fuller featured template editor would make the experience even better.

“My first choice for email marketing”
Pros
My go to email marketing tool for quite a while now. I could list a bunch of strengths but the biggest thing that stands out is the sheer depth of its feature set. You can handle pretty much everything you'd expect starting with simple tasks like creating and sending emails, then moving into more advanced territory like automation workflows, segmentation and behavior based targeted campaigns. A lot of platforms give you plenty of features at first but once your business grows and your needs get more sophisticated, you start wishing for more advanced capabilities. With ActiveCampaign, that gap doesn't really show up since the tools it offers work for both basic users and power users.
Cons
Feature library is impressive but it can feel like information overload for some people. It's kind of like owning a Swiss Army knife with tons of blades when you only need a couple. Because all those options are available at once, it can lead to paralysis by analysis and make the initial setup feel tougher than it should. I'd love to see a way to present things more progressively so users only see what they actually need right now, without getting sidetracked by everything else.

“consistently helpful support team”
Pros
Has an automated workflow for cleaning up inactive subscribers who were dragging down your ability to reach people. The support team has been consistently helpful whenever I needed help getting things configured. If you already have a marketing plan that accounts for how you want to handle lead scoring and you're using a CRM, it turns into a very affordable email solution with strong deliverability and solid automation. You can segment contacts, apply tags and take additional actions to tighten up your targeting and messaging. Setup is easy too, with plenty of triggers and actions. Things like waiting for a set amount of time, plus play/paste style actions and similar building blocks.
Cons
When I first signed up, I also found an online course that covered its details which helped a lot so I'm still curious about the extra features I'm not fully using yet. It feels like the platform has been improving steadily over the past year or so but it still has room to grow especially around some features I'm not seeing used consistently. Occasionally, the source size doesn't stay consistent after changing the path and when you view the source code it ends up as a single row which makes it harder to read and edit.

“Overly complicated”
Pros
Offers a wide range of features and a selective choice of email addresses which makes it feel pretty flexible for different needs.
Cons
Because there are so many functions, it's not always easy to find your way around. As a result, I end up writing fewer emails since the effort feels too high and I'm also paying an external person to help me.

“Helps us stay on top of everything”
Pros
This platform keeps tabs on my sales funnel and organizes leads according to how many contacts we store. We also stay on top of our contact list to make sure it doesn't grow into a messy pile of low quality entries and that workflow fits how we operate.
Cons
Some sections are a bit hard to locate unless you're actively using the system every day which makes finding specific items slower than it should be.
