“pricey for startups”
Pros
Feature set is more extensive than I currently need but having that extra functionality available gives me room to grow without outgrowing the tool too quickly.
Cons
Pricing feels tough for a startup like mine. I get that the cost probably has to connect to usage in some way but scaling purely with the number of active users regardless of how many features you actually use doesn't feel the fairest setup. There are cheaper options on the market that match my current needs. Still, this software has been flexible enough for what I'm doing so I chose to stick around and scale here too.

“helpful support”
Pros
The tools arent hard to handle and understand so it's accessible even for people with limited tech knowledge. Setup and navigation feel simple enough for non experts to get going without too much trouble.
Cons
Customer support isn't very effective. When it comes to syncing and configuration issues, it takes a long time for them to come up with a real solution.

“excellent campaign management”
Pros
It's the top software on the market for handling your daily campaigns and it does it through a solid range of methods. With this tool even more complex campaign tasks and problems can be managed without too much trouble.
Cons
It would be even better if there were more options for integrating with third party apps.

“Very dependable tool”
Pros
What I enjoy most about it is how effortless it is to set up automations, manage an email list and run lead generation. The platform feels very dependable for business use thanks to its feature set and overall reliability.
Cons
Template functionality could be stronger there are more templates available than I'd like so having additional options would make it even better.

“great fit for my work”
Pros
The marketing automation really fits what I need. I coordinate my company and, honestly, I'm always short on time. Being able to write a single email and send it to different groups based on whichever contact lists I choose is a huge help. It's also great that the platform handles a lot of the setup for you so you can move quickly without starting from scratch.
Cons
At first, everything feels brand new. There's a lot of information to take in and it can be a bit overwhelming. The interface has several tabs that send you to different areas so it takes some getting used to. Once you go through the guided steps though everything clicks.

“solid automation”
Pros
Automation sequences are really simple to map out and build and there are plenty of options to connect directly with most CRM platforms. That makes lead capture and ongoing management much more organized. Email deliverability also feels solid and the pricing is notably better value than most competitors as you move up through each contact tier.
Cons
A live chat option would be handy for quick fixes but ticket based support has still been pretty responsive usually back within 24 hours or less.

“user friendly email marketing win”
Pros
I really appreciate how simple this product is to use. We've tried several comparable systems before and this stands out as the better option for our email marketing needs by a wide margin.
Cons
Campaign reporting feels a bit thin to me. I'd love to quickly see, in the campaign activity stream which specific email address opened the message. It would also help to have more support available if there's any disruption in service.

“messy interface”
Pros
It includes a bunch of useful CRM features that I actually needed and a lot of competitors didn't cover those same basics for me.

The interface feels really cluttered and not very clean and it also seems like some areas are missing in terms of functionality.

“Broad range of features”
Pros
ActiveCampaign has become our all in one marketing setup. It's responsive enough to support the kind of conversion rates our marketing team is consistently driving. The simplicity and effectiveness are exactly why it's our top recommendation. We build sign up forms, landing pages and email templates using its advanced tools and the pricing plans feel affordable so we're comfortable committing to it. On top of that it's flexible for automation and daily bulk email sending, plus it helps us collect leads, migrate contacts and manage everything from a single place without the usual headaches. The integrations with our favorite apps also make the whole workflow smoother and improve collaboration across the team.
Cons
It works very well overall especially since new features are regularly added. The only "con" is basically that updates keep coming which means there's always a bit more to explore. Still, the direction the company is taking with its tech feels promising and aligned with what we need.

“worth the money”
Pros
Using it for email marketing felt simple and it was quick to pick up. The pricing also seemed like a solid deal for what we were getting and there weren't any real issues worth complaining about. We did move to a different email marketing tool eventually but that switch wasn't because this wasn't performing it just didn't end up being our final fit.
Cons
No clear downsides come to mind.

“Simple to use”
Pros
I've been using it for a while and I wouldn't switch to any other platform because it's genuinely great at being simple to use and doing integrations. On top of that I can build automated email funnels that end up generating sales for me without having to manage everything manually.
Cons
Price could be a bit lower or they could offer a discount coupon for the first few months. A lot of people are starting out in the tool while they're also starting their business and that usually means they have limited capital.

Pros
Running my business, the ability to automate our marketing for real has been a real game changer. Email stays our top performing marketing channel and it is what's made that consistently happen. The platform comes with strong features and it's simple to use which helps a lot when you're trying to move quickly.
Cons
There's a small learning curve at the start but once you get the hang of it, it quickly unlocks a ton of marketing options for your business.

“covers everything you need”
Pros
A solid all in one platform for marketing, sales and customer service. It covers a lot of ground with email marketing, automation, CRM and messaging so businesses of different sizes can manage customer relationships in one place. The interface is simple to work through and the visual automation builder makes it much easier to set up even more complex workflows without getting lost. On top of that it connects with plenty of tools like Shopify, WooCommerce and Salesforce so you can fit it into an existing stack without much hassle. Whenever I've needed help, the support team has been quick to respond and genuinely knowledgeable.
Cons

“reliable sales reports”
Pros
Powerful tool for creating and sharing sales reports, plus it supports data sharing. The platform also has basic budgeting features and strong project cost planning and it stays dependable when pulling company information from lots of different websites.
Cons
Our team ended up spending extra on Zapier to handle the integration steps with platforms that didn't have direct connectivity which bumped up the overall cost of using the software.

“An all in one platform”
Pros
An all in one setup that covers a lot and stays pretty relevant. Most of what you need can be handled within a single platform so you're not constantly bouncing between different tools.
Cons
Because it's fairly complex, there's a noticeable learning curve and you'll need time to get used to how everything works. It also tends to be quite expensive if you're managing a large contact list.
