“Easy client automation”
Pros
It's really easy to set up campaigns, build automations and manage clients all in one place. The workflow for creating everything feels practical and saves a lot of time when you're juggling multiple accounts.
Cons
Feels a bit heavy sometimes it takes a moment for the files to load so there's a slight delay before everything shows up.

“tags keep everything organized”
Pros
Happy with the active campaign for email management especially because it lets me organize everything using lists and tags across my whole business.

“easy to customize emails”
Pros
I really enjoy the automation layout and the variety of ways you can structure a campaign. Being able to customize an email for every contact while still sending a single email blast is a huge win. Adding the CRM functionality has been a serious gamechanger for me and for my clients.
Cons
Cost can be a bit too high for tighter budgets.

“Handy for sending newsletters”
Pros
For sending newsletters, this tool has been really handy. Building a template is easy and it's simple to customize even if you don't have a graphic design background. On top of that it's not difficult to send the newsletter to a large audience by using your contact lists.
Cons
There are still a few bugs when it comes to adding and managing contacts.

“solid automation”
Pros
It's an all in one platform that covers email marketing, automation and a sales CRM which makes it convenient to manage everything in one place. The interface feels user friendly so getting started didn't take forever. Automation and segmentation features are strong and the targeting is flexible enough to run more customized campaigns. There are also integrations with widely used tools and platforms and the pricing plans are affordable with options that fit different needs.
Cons
Email template design customization feels a bit limited compared to some other tools. It's not as widely known as a few competing marketing automation platforms. When you start building more complex automation workflows, there's a noticeable learning curve. Phone support is limited on lower tier plans and email A/B testing options are somewhat restrictive.

“huge variety of email templates”
Pros
The CRM features let me customize emails using a drag and drop setup and I can also add more style through the email template options. Overall it makes building and refining email campaigns feel a lot more flexible.
Cons
The trial period and storage capacity are pretty limited. It would be helpful if they increased the amount of free space available so there's more room to test everything properly.

“Must have for marketing”
Pros
A must have for anyone running a business. Nowadays, writing and sending emails is still one of the most effective marketing moves and ActiveCampaign makes that whole process noticeably simpler and faster.
Cons
It would be nice to have more font options when composing emails, along with more flexibility to edit images and position them exactly where you want in the layout. Early on, I also ran into a small hiccup with customer support but it got sorted out quickly afterward by a colleague who handled it really well.

“fair pricing for the features you get”
Pros
Pricing feels fair compared to what you actually get CRM, marketing automation, lead scoring and the rest of the features included in the package.
Cons
A few things are holding it back are the fact that the loading time can be a bit slow and getting it to work smoothly with external tools/support integrations hasn't been as easy as expected.

Pros
Being able to schedule and deploy social media posts from a single dashboard is a huge win for me. It really feels like a set it and forget it workflow which saves a lot of time.
Cons
On a couple of occasions, the integrations ended up breaking. When that happened, I had to remove the affected connections and then reconnect them to get everything working again.

“good for small and mid sized businesses”
Pros
If you're running an SMB, the cost to benefit here usually makes sense. The tool feels really complete for the price, particularly when it comes to automation features.
Cons
This probably won't be enough if your needs go beyond that like a more powerful platform with broader customization options and deeper integrations.

“My review”
Pros
Marketing automation works well for me especially with features like email sending and segmenting my email list. It seriously helps simplify the work and saves time.
Cons
At the beginning, it wasn't clear at all how to use it. I reached out to customer support because I wanted help setting up the email automation but I haven't managed to book a second appointment with them yet so I still can't get the guidance I need to automate my emails properly.

“effective automation suite”
Pros
This is a widely known CRM and marketing automation platform. A lot of users mention it's simple to work with and offers a huge range of features things like email marketing, automation workflows, pipeline/deal automation and solid CRM tools. Several customers also highlight that the customer support team is responsive and helpful when questions come up.
Cons
That said some people run into bugs or occasional glitches. Pricing is also something a few reviewers call out as being a bit steep when compared with other options on the market. Even with that, it still comes across as a solid pick for small to mid sized businesses that want an all in one CRM plus marketing automation solution.

“well organized automation categories”
Pros
The platform's automation comes split into different categories which is super helpful. I'm really enjoying the setup and how everything is organized especially since I'm a bit of a perfectionist/OCD about keeping things neat and structured.
Cons
One complaint slipped my mind at the time but once I mentioned it to customer support, they told me they're already working on adding that feature to the site.

“Powerful lead segmentation”
Pros
Lead segmentation is the best part. Being able to split your leads and set up campaign paths that feel almost endless is genuinely awesome.
Cons
A few of the segmentation phrases can be a bit confusing at the beginning. You have to pause and figure out the logic behind the segmentation rules but once you get the hang of it, everything clicks and the results follow.

“strong growth potential”
Pros
It feels like it has room to grow with our team and the more advanced options are genuinely useful for building marketing campaigns and sales funnels. Once you get rolling, it supports more complex setups without feeling limiting.
Cons
Email builder can be pretty glitchy at times which slows things down when you're trying to make quick edits. There's also a noticeable learning curve and the pricing is definitely on the expensive side compared to what we were hoping for.
